    especially if she passed the debut in april. she won't even have been training for a year and sm's trainee contract is 2 years iirc. there have been exceptions like baekhyun and sunny but they've been preparing the new gg for a while now

    SM's highly anticipated new girl group is fast approaching and SM has a bevy of trainees here are the trainees that I feel are most likely to make up the new girl group. First of all I believe the lineup is 9 members. The original lineup for the new girl group was 9 members. So far six are practically confirmed through official promotions as SMRookies and unofficial features as trainees.

    Park Jungyeon 

    DOB: May 13, 1997

    Predicted Position: Lead Vocal, Rapper 

    Activities:

    it would be nice to have jungyeon officially introduced as an smrookie, thought considering they're debuting next year idk how much use it'll be. they've kept them hidden under lock and key which means everyone is anticipating them but would it kill them to build a little hype with like a youtube video or something?

    you think 4 are hidden? sm doesn't usually debut even numbered groups, except for red velvet but yeri was added. i think we're either getting 7 or 11 members. hopefully not 9 bc we're already drawing enough snsd comparisons as is. i bet the hidden trainees are foreign members though, and there's gotta be an english speaker. i remember there being a rumor about 2 thai trainees, daisy and jaaja.
