can't believe i forgot to check iris van herpen. thank you for reminding me the collection is gorgeous. collections like that are why i love couture week. icb how many of you guys like the dad sneakers trend, a betrayal of the highest kind
-
yeah i think with any heavy fabrics with that you have to make sure to make that one piece the central focus and not overlayer, with a piece like that i'd typically belt it so it's a little more form fitting and not as overwhelming

to anyone reading this thread: yes wear the thing, take the risk, what makes an outfit look good is CONFIDENCE.
-
i'm unsure, tbh i only know you're petite but you know your actual body type and can dress for it better cause you know more. i'd say long dresses are good so long as they have like a slit or something. you don't want to be in something where you're just overwhelmed by the fabric.
-
in that case i'd say definitely shop in petite sections, those clothes are outfitted for small people. also getting clothes tailored is a really good way to make all your clothes look put together. for some height heels are your friends. i'd recommend a tall boot, chunky heel or wedge as opposed to a stiletto.
-
are you trying to look taller or just wondering how to style with a petite body?
-
balmain's collection too. i mean this, is literally every avant-garde design ever, it's so basic. so many disappointments from major names this year.

here's a list of websites i check daily/weekly and get my fashion news from. business of fashion fashionista nowfashion stylecaster women's wear daily who what wear

op has been updated with a poll about your favorite and least favorite s/s 2019 trends!

love this style of pants, especially with the tucked waist example you posted on the top. i'm really more of a tailored pants gal myself but i think these look gorgeous with wedges and espadrilles. they make for a cute summer look. i think they look the best when worn as a statement item with bold prints.

omg now that you say that i totally see it

ugh i understand couture is typically intended for artistic purposes but this is just garish, it reminds me of the t-shirts they sell at forever 21.

my thoughts on valentino's collection can be summed up in this gif

everyone NEEDS to check out guo pei's collection from paris s/s 2019. the detailing is gorgeous. here are a few of my fave pieces!

nope. this is just fashion everywhere in the world! rn i'm writing up some opinions on the couture at s/s pfw 2019

a quick google search comes up with bomb petite i'll let you know if i find anything else. also yes, you can definitely find good quality boots under 60 dollars. my nicest boots typically cost around 30-40 dollars. but keep in mind that keeping your boots good quality also depends on how you treat them. thanks so much!

i can't wait until we get somi/itzy interactions. it was probably hard for her to leave her friends but we know she's going to be walking the flower path. i just want to see all the girls reunite with her and support each other.
-
tbh i feel like they all have pretty distinctive visuals, it would be hard to get them mixed up. maybe yuna and lia because they're new faces to some people but they all look really different.
-
tbh, that's what i think too
-
ugh that's a shame. white and blue is such a classic combination, very ralph lauren.
-
weekly favorite (the part where i choose the best outfit of the week from the outside world) i loved loved loved itzy's styling in these teasers, particularly lia's all fendi look and books. despite the obvious failures (ryujin's bicycle shorts), this is a stylist who's obviously unafraid to take risks and clearly being inspired by 2019 trends. i'll be interested to see what other styling comes about for this era.

do you mean like style concept? (i.e. feminine, girl crush, colorful)
