Great. The groups ranking on melon is a bit better this time. I hope they can gain some longevity on the charts. They did pretty okay last time, but due to all the popular boy fandom pushing all their groups albums on the charts, it was kind of hard for the girls to stay within the top 100. I wonder what the companies have planned for the girls third year. They have all the makings of making it huge this year. Starship has been doing a good job pushing the girls to perform on popular award shows. Now I think it's time for them to continue what they've been doing, but to also start pushing the girls to promote overseas. I wonder if they will ever promote the girls in Japan? I feel their aesthetic can help them build a loyal niche Japanese fandom. Especially considering how much the girls resemble anime heroines.

I feel the same. Truthfully, I can wait a bit longer for Meiqi and Xuanyi, but I think next comeback, both companies should consider having Cheng Xiao promote with the girls. The first two years of since debut, she has been pushed as both the face and the visual of the group. She is needed to bring the familiarity to the fans that were with the girls since debut, and the public. I think this comeback is the actual test for how well the group can do with popular members absent for a comeback. So far the group has done well in keeping the fanbase interested and maintaining their cosmic image. I also feel that Cheng Xiao actually misses working with the girls and performing on stage with them. I wonder how frequently k-line keeps in touch with the Chinese members?

The song is great. At first, I was a bit taken aback by the somewhat new sound, but it slowly started to grow on me. The girls have shown such lovely consistent growth. I think sometime this year the girls will debut in China. Watching old clips of the girls, I kind of missed their dynamic as thirteen. I hope we can see the group as whole later on. At least, I hope that Yuehua will slow down Cheng Xiao promotions in China for a bit to promote with the group in a comeback. I sense the group could very well hit it big this year.

lol. I wonder why they didn't just allow the song to be played. I appreciate how much the China line is promoting the group any way they can to their Chinese fandom. With Wjsn growing popularity, I can see the group making a successful transition in Chinese entertainment. Hopefully, the other girls can brush up on their mandarin a bit more. Bona and Eunseo are doing great, but I need the girls to try to be conversationally fluent with the language. The group as a whole will fare better with the public if they are shown to know the language. Fluency in the language is actually one of the main reasons Yoona was capable to build such a large fandom in China.

What people fail to realize is that this will be a recurring thing with this group. The group was meant to have dual promotions between both the countries. Right now Chinity must be able to gain some foothold in china to help the group ease their way in to Chinese promotions. The ban on Kpop in China has effected how both the companies are promoting the group. The goal before was to do something similar to what Twice is doing with Korea and Japan. Maybe with the ban weakening a bit, the girls will have attempted to make full-blown promotions into China. I miss Cheng Xiao. She was actually my bias when I first got into the group. I wanted her to perform for this comeback, but seeing as her schedule is so tight, I can swallow the disappointment of her not participating in this comeback. I just want the girls to continue to rise and build up their fandom. They are doing well this time and can do even better with more promotion.

I cannot wait for their comeback. I hope it's even more successful than the last. Hopefully, Cheng Xiao can participate in this comeback. Meiqi and Xuanyi is a long shot, but there is a possibility that Cheng Xiao can join this one. I know she's been overworked, but I hope her company is taking into consideration her popularity in Korea. I have no idea what their contract with Starship is like, but I feel they are so close in achieving their initial goal of creating a dual Korean/Chinese girl group. The girls are keeping the fandom strong in their home turf and when the group is fully 13, they will be a force to be reckoned with. You even have randoms sweating over the thought of the group reuniting as a full group.

Is this true? I was already annoyed with the similarities with the groups names, the light stick is quite obvious. I have no idea what their issue is with the group. Rocket girls is a project group that is on limited time. They will be gone in two years. Also, Yuehua has kept quiet since the whole contract fiasco. Meiqi and Xuanyi are the two most popular in the group. Xuanyi is constantly topping the top 5 lists of popular Chinese female entertainer. It's been a year and the girls are still unable to promote with WJSN. I'm just counting down the time until the girls are finally released from that group. Wjsn is slowly, but surely gaining traction in China and internationally. It won't be long until they gain a foothold in the Chinese entertainment industry. Also, there is the matter of the upcoming variety show to push forward another girl group. It won't be long until Rocket girls get some competition from other groups. Tencent should be worried about keeping the interest in the girls, once these shows start pushing their own groups.

I do hope yuehua ease up on cheng Xiao schedules to have her promote with the girls. She's already established in Korea and has somewhat of a following in China. She should try balancing out her schedules between both countries. The girl also need a couple of weeks of rest.

Hmm. I'm hoping as the contract gets near to the end, the girls will have more freedom to promote outside of the group. Initially, tecent wanted the girls to first focus on rocket girlss schedules. It's approaching a year soon, I think rocket girls is established enough.

This is great. I actually thought they were going to comeback in early to middle of February. I missed them. I can't wait to see the new formations the girls are going to make. As for chinity, It does pain me a bit that the group is not fully 13. However, I want the girls to succeed. The more successful they become, the more opportunities that they'll receive from Starship. I want Starship to push the girl as hard as they push monsta x. For that to happen the group needs to show it could be profitable.

The girls fandom is quite strong. I think after one more comeback, Starship should push one of their units. If they could get more traction with the next comeback and a strong unit song; it will just be a matter of when for the girls to hit big. I'm loving the steady climb upwards.

Agreed. I hope Starship/Yuehua are able to work around her schedule. The girls don't really do a full comeback anyway. They could promote the song for two to three weeks and then attempt to debut a unit.

That was what I was wondering. We don't have much information on the group contract. I would hope the girls are almost done with their debt payments. They're a large group; I want the girls to start making a profit. This is why after they have established themselves in Korea, Starship should consider debuting them in other asian markets. Like for ex: Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore and hong kong.

I'm not sure where I heard this rumor; Did Meiqi and Xuanyi sign a new contract with Starship for an additional two years after their finished promoting with Rocket Girls? I thought that was one of the conditions for their decision to sign with Rocket girls

The girls have shown such great growth. I think Starship is planning to debut another two group in the next 2 to 3 years. They usually have their next act in line by the five-year mark. Now with their two potential girls in Izone, and the steady build-up of Jeong Sewoon fanbase, they have everything in place for their new groups. I just hope they continue their focus in building up both Wjsn and Monsta X. They need to start promoting their girls like how they promote Monsta X but fiercely and with precision. Push the girls to promote simultaneously in China and Korea. Have a fan meeting in various cities and use their connections with Yuehua to get a few of their more fluent Chinese speakers on variety shows. I don't know if this true, but foreign acts can promote in China by taking an exam to prove their fluency in the language. Bora and Eunseo can definitely speak Mandarin pretty well. With more lessons, they'll be ready.

Yep. I do know that when the time comes for the girls to be paid, Starship will be fair with the girls income. The other artists never really had any financial disputes with the company and Starship is one of the few companies that take the smaller portion of the profits. I think they had a ratio of 70% to the artists and 30% to the company.

I guess their comebacks were more costly then we thought. Even Loona is knee deep into debt. Four million dollars worth to be paid back. They must have made enough to cover the cost of the expenditures, but not enough to start paying the artists.

I'm starting to think that Starship waits until the group hits their 3rd year before paying them. Something similar happened with Boyfriend when they debuted, and that is with all the attention the group had received their first two years. Boyfriend at one point was competing with to be a top boy group at the time. Also, there are 13 girls in the group. It most cost a lot to house and feed them. Even the girls attire looks expensive.
