  1. Yeah, the only way I can see this working is if the girls are either not attached to any company or if they really are just normal girls, like how it is with the other 48 groups. This is definitely gonna be an interesting clash of different business practices.

But who knows, crazier stuff has happened. God knows how the 48 groups manage to make it all work. I don't think a lot of people realize how convoluted the groups are, management-wise.

AKB48 - Managed by AKS - signed under KING RECORDS

SKE48 - Managed by AKS - signed under avex trax

NMB48 - Managed by Showtitle - signed under laugh out loud! records

HKT48 - Managed by AKS - signed under EMI RECORDS

NGT48 - Managed by AKS - signed under Sony Music

STU48 - Managed by STU (Which I think is just a branch of AKS) - signed under KING RECORDS

AKS used to also have a thing where the members would initially be signed up with AKS, but only until they were picked up by a different talent agency. Not sure if they're still doing that, but either way, as a result you have quite a few members that are all in different talent agencies.

    Sashihara Rino - Ohta Pro

    Watanabe Mayu - Production Ogi

    Matsui Jurina - Irving

    Kashiwagi Yuki - Watanabe Pro

    Ogino Yuka - Hori Pro

Suda Akari - Twin Planet Entertainment

    Yokoyama Yui - Ohta Pro

    Kitahara Rie - Ohta Pro

That's just naming some of them.

Yeah i think it’ll be more like Idol School with

    1. Former Idols

    2. Former trainees

    3. Completely new girls

Pretty interested in seeing what company they’ll be managed by. I don’t think YMC or most traditional companies could handle it well, so many CJ E&M?

  2. If Produce 48 takes trainees, I definitely see Mashiro going. JYP was originally gonna send one of their boys on P101 season 2, but likely changed their mind due to Stay Kids. If JYP sends another, Mashiro would be a good choice since she’d get attention not only from Koreans but from Japanese as well, and her being bilingual also helps in case of possible language barrier in the group.

And even if the group is permanent, members can still graduate. So she could stick around for about a year or year and a half, than comeback when JYP is ready to debut their new GG.

  3. Ooh! I would love to see Mako on it even more, I feel like her stage presence while dancing would really make a stir and get attention. Sending both or one is fine, too.

Mako definitely should. She is great, but her chances of debut are unknown as of now and is in her own position basically since she’s not with the potential debut girls nor kids, so she could go to see how well she does

Would love if both go as well

  4. Wait they performed with them? O_O

Yeah it's not how elections work, but they could use the election concept (which is basically what Produce 101 system is based off of) and have the faces of the group be decided through the show.

    ---------------------

Also I don't think it'll start with 48 people tbh, 48 is just the number used for the brand name, AKB doesn't have 48 members lol neither do other 48g, 46g don't have 46 members etc

Yeah they were labeled as Idol School Class 1, they performed with AKB48, IOI groups, and Fromis_9

  5. SO FOCKING READYYY

    IM ACTUALLY SO HYPE

I’ve been waiting for 48g to go to korea it’s happening I’m so ready

I hope Natty joins up omg YES! That’d be so good

Same, I’ve waited for Korean 48G for years and for it to finally come is a dream come true

Natty along with Haein, Sian, Eunyoung, and Yuri 4 performed with them today, so perhaps they’ll be shoe in members for the group? That would be fantastic if so
