Speaking of Deepened I will never forgive Korea for sleeping on this masterpiece
I remember when this first came out and I was like "Wow, Minyoung sounds JUST like Eunyoung (the original main vocalist)" the resemblance is uncanny actually, though Minyoung has a bit of a softer tone to her vocals.

The remix isn’t even on Spotify, or iTunes. Trust BE to keep fucking over the girls. They also keep dropping from the charts, it’s like this remix never happened tbh, wow. I feel like shit because I want them to be happy, but I’m at a place where I don’t know what to do, lol. I’m too conflicted
I know. It's like Brave wants them to fail or something. Like this could have been promoted a lot better: Work with a producer that is currently trending for the remix; promote it more properly with actual teasers of photos and videos of the girls (and not some random trainee); give more of a budget for the music video; give an addictive dance routine that people would love and gee I don't know, maybe let them perform said remix on music shows and put it on iTunes and Spotify ASAP so fans can find it on all platforms?
I swear, this dude is terrible at managing.
-
Honestly, like with Yoohoo, I will probably never really listen to this remix.

Maybe they are telling the truth this time? I do hope Hayun will comeback soon.
Three things I do not like about the new Rollin': The music video is terribly low budget (and I really hate that overly painful-looking saturation that so many K-Pop idols use as a filter, it is not pleasing on the eyes at all), the entire second pre-chorus is cut off and the saxophone is way too loud (as if Minyoung's "rollin', rollin', rollin'" wasn't loud enough lol). All in all, it's an okay remix, but definitely nowhere near as good as the original.
On the plus side, at least they didn't re-record Hayun's vocals.
-
People are saying the reason why she is not promoting with them this time is due to her weight gain. If you notice, she did gain some weight (albeit to me, she looked completely fine as she was but Korean standards are quite harsh and critical) and if you recall back when there were seven members, Brave scolded them for hiding snacks in their dance practice room. He said he did not mind them eating healthy when they were on break but when they are preparing for a comeback or promoting for a comeback, he wants them to watch their diet. This seems to make plausible sense considering how abrupt this decision was and she probably removed her Instagram in order to focus on her "health" (I really hate saying it like that but that's what they are implementing). So, I hope that she WILL come back with them but who knows at this point. If they re-record her parts in Rollin' 2.0 I think we could say she's unfortunately most likely not going to comeback, because if she WAS going to eventually come back with the group, they wouldn't remove her vocals (Example: Hello Venus' Venus when Yoonjo was absent due to an injury).

Congratulations Brave Entertainment, you have gained several more points for being one of K-Pop's worst companies. You honestly think NOBODY would ask where one of the members suddenly disappeared to?
Edit: I am honestly so frustrated since yesterday's teaser release. I can't even enjoy it.
-
I don’t want to, I was hoping someone else would lol :( I got blocked on both twitter and insta for a while for spamming so I can’t keep harassing brave ent.
Edit: twitter and insta are amazing right now, I’m loving all the fans asking for justice for Hayun.
Yeah I am surprised at the overload of support for Hayun! I started penning #JusticeForBraveGirlsHayun and I already been getting hella notifications that people are re-tweeting so it makes me happy to know that there are people who care
Theory:
remix and older song to introduce a new member followed by a comeback

You're probably right on the nose. And we're gonna get some bullshit excuse on why Hayun isn't around anymore.
I'm being loud on twt right now as well, but why do I feel everything will be just in vain..
Yeah all we can do is hope. The more people who are loud, the more we can be heard.
OMG WHERE IS MY BIAS!! I'M ABOUT TO GET A STROKE!! WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN! THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH BE?! SUCH LACK OF RESPECT TOWARDS THE FANS!!
Amen! I'm so upset my bias is gone :(
-
You can if you want. I'm just so angry right now I have such a bitter taste in my mouth with it. I can't even watch it right now.
Man, fans are going the fuck off on Twitter. It's like a riot. Which makes me happy because this can't be ignored!
-
And I can’t believe they blatantly tried to make a random trainee with a ponytail pass as Hayun to deceive us???? Lmaoooo??? I’m so full of hate right now
Seriously. I have never been this angry with anything in K-Pop in my life. Like I am fuming right now. I just went the fuck off on Brave Brothers IG. I appreciate that other fans are doing this too. In both English AND Korean. Literally, they are commenting on BG, Brave Brothers and all the girls accounts asking where Hayun is. You can't fucking do this shit to us and not explain yourself. Homegirl was still in the group as of late July when they were doing yet another one of those military concerts. Like what in the actual fuck happened within that short time frame?
Yeah, I don't know why I said Minyoung.
It's ok boo. I think we are all just so upset about Hayun at this point. #JusticeForHayun (we should trend this)
-
Goddamit, she was favorite member too
Same here. The amount of anger I am feeling right now to Brave Brothers is unimaginable. I have never been so incredibly angry at him as bad as this.
I just wanted to be happy that Brave Girls was back, why is this so messy? Thank goodness Minyoung and Hyeran escaped, Brave Girls deserve WAYYYYYYY better than this terrible company.
Did you mean Yoojin? But yeah, I just wanted to be happy they were finally coming back. I was okay with them re-producing a song that was already amazing on its own originally, and now this? This is so unacceptable.
This is so much bullshit, can't believe Brave Bros blatantly tried to deceive us with that girl.. I was so excited about this.. they need to give us an explanation, but knowing them I highly doubt they will even address the issue. Brave Bros just hit bottom.
Seriously. Like what in the actual fuck is he thinking? He better spare us the whole fucking medical or study hiatus bullshit because I'm not fucking having it. I didn't even want to like this video on YT I'm so fucking angry.
Also, the video looks so cheap, like they put the BARE minimum into this Brave Girls "comeback"

Still gonna support them, but I just wish they could find another label.
Right?! You're over here trying to tell the fans that you want them to have a proper place in the industry and give this song a "second chance" and what do you do? Remove a member and give us a low budget ass video you recorded on what looks like a bootleg flip phone. The fuck outta here. I'm so fucking done right now. Uggh. Fuck you Brave Brothers.
-
I always prefer not to jump into conclusions too but omfg I never know what to expect from shitty companies
Same :(
Nooooo Hayun has possibly left? I'm on a Brave Girls discord and they're talking about it

Wait. There's a BG Discord? Share girl!

The situation is gross. Worst thing is, Brave Ent doesn’t give a fuck. They’re not going to say anything, they’re simply going to release the mv and hello there new member. I’m scared right now, tbh. Member changes don’t do a group any good, if anything, it’s worst because people can’t keep up with member changes.
How could they do this? Saying they were gonna re release a song that already exists, just to introduce a new member? It’s like... wow, we’re nothing to Brave Ent. Never thought we were, tbh, but, it’s worst and worst every time. It’s like they’re sabotaging their own group, it’s like they want this.
And, as mad as we can be, I hope the girl doesn’t receive any hate, which is already happening.
He has done this to us time and time again. Made us wait three years for a debut album comeback that never happened. Told us Hyeran was still in the group even when all signs point to her leaving the company. And now this? I am not surprised by any means but I cannot believe he would do this to the very fans who continue to support Brave Girls.
I don't think it's a new member though, I don't know, the whole situation feels so surreal to me, I prefer not to jump into conclusions for now and just wait until the MV gets released. I find hard to believe Hayun left the group.
It sucks cause of course she is my favorite member, I am going to be really upset if this is what we all think it is. :(
-
Fuck I feel sick right now.
Edit: I’m on vacation, and I haven’t been able to pause the trailer at that time, I just saw a girl with a ponytail and thought it was Hayun, or go on twitter to see what’s being said. I’m seriously speechless. Can’t believe it’s happening again.
Edit2: Brave china is doing everything to know what’s happening with Hayun. Says they’re calling BE, tweeting Hayun’s family, and even wanted to ask the trainee’s insta. Kinda a bit invasive to me but I’m feeling so useless rn smh
To be honest, I feel they are doing the right thing. Brave has been really unfair to Fearless. Giving them false hope about Hyeran still being in the group when even she admitted to no longer being in the group (fans will find out so why do you keep on lying to us?) the last update we had on Hayun was as close as late July, so it's really weird how all of the sudden her IG vanished just when they were about to comeback, and Brave barely even mentions any of it. He said he listened to the fans with re-releasing Rollin'? I call bullshit, he only listens to what he wants to listen to. Fans are gonna be in an uproar (and with good reason) because this was not the kind of comeback we wanted, to be cheated on have a member who we already considered an original be replaced without any warning. You wanted Rollin' to be successful this time around? It's not going to work out for you in that way. I'm really fucking furious right now.
-
I am really upset right now, because chances are (the way everything is) Hayun is no longer in Brave Girls. Her IG is inactive during a time when the whole group is supposed to comeback AND the teaser showed no sign of her at all, people on Twitter are saying it is a Brave trainee apparently. Her face in that teaser is not as defined as Hayun's is.
I am furious because Brave is going to once again give us some stupid ass excuse. This is what people on Twitter are saying is her. A trainee who appeared on MixNine apparently:
https://twitter.com/Brave_China/status/1027375196926173184
(Sorry I have no idea how to work Twitter links on here)
-
Not bad! The whole beach concept matches the teaser we got. The only complaint I have is that I really hope that is not the new dance to it and it's just some backup dancer freestyling because that as a routine is a mess.
-
Fave part of your rant because I agree. I dislike so much when a group puts out bop after bop, and have better songs than what could be trending at the moment, but they still flop and then comes the people that say they loved their music, the song was good, blablabla, but they did not even bother to support them in anything. I know it's salty, like, they have no obligation to support them at all, but at least don't pretend you cared about them. And this is not only with knetz, I've seen that here a lot with internation fans, once a group starts losing their members, or disband, they suddenly loved them lol. I used to stan 9muses and that happened a lot with them. Everyone loved 9muses but once they came back... no one even bothered.
I'm saltyyyyyyyyyyy I'm sorry haha.
Trust me everything that you are saying I completely agree with. It is honestly so frustrating to be such a big fan of lesser known groups, but I am proud of it because I am not just some basic K-Pop fan. I am not going to name names cause I do not want to bash anyone, but there are some groups out there that release singles and all I could think to myself is, "What the hell were they thinking? This song is charting? Are you for real?" lol
Oh you're right, Hayun remove her IG account
or she opened a new one ?I wonder if she just removed it temporarily?
Deepened was such a pop, Rollin' and High Heel too. I don't care much to watch the MV since I prefer to buy the album. When deepened was released, it was just nowhere to find it. And the MV of Rollin' was not publicly available on YT because 19+. Not a wise move to build a fandom, it's like wanting them to flop.
If I cared about MV view count, I would just support group with huge fandom, but I prefer good music than popularity.
Deepened was a digital only release, probably why you had trouble finding it. It is, however, sold as a physical copy (sent to radio or other media outlets) which I think you could find on Ebay. I really do not understand how Rollin' was deemed 19+, there's literally nothing that deems it 19+ at all. The shit that more popular groups (both male and female) can get away with without being 19+ is so fucking annoying and ridiculous, but lesser known groups are the ones that suffer the 19+ tag just because girls are grouped together in skirts and a fucking turtleneck shirt? That's inappropriate? You have NO idea how many comments I have seen of people saying, "Wait. What is 19+ about this video?" lol
But I agree with you, good music over popularity. Though I feel like Brave Brothers is just such a bad manager. So is the manager for Matilda and Playback, to name a few of MANY others.

In regards to Samuel, I feel like Brave was trying to snowball off of the success of his first mini album Sixteen and that was why he kept getting pushed for more releases. That, and the fact that he even made a debut in Japan.
Brave Brothers is known for his music, not his managing. In fact, I find him one of the most horrible managers ever. How do you create a girl group, put them into hiding for three years JUST when they were slowly but surely starting to gain some recognition (from Nowadays You at least) AND how do you pay little to no attention to both Electro Boyz and Bigstar, the latter which has some pretty amazing talent? Not only that but I guarantee you that Brave Girls would have gotten some notice after their stint on The Unit. But did he do ANYTHING to keep the momentum going? Nope, not at all. He did exactly what The Unit did to Yujeong and Eunji, ignore them completely.
While I am trying to be hopeful, I really do not see what was so bad about the sexy concept for Rollin' in the first place? Ok, not only that but it wasn't even really THAT provocative AT ALL for them to have put a 19+ on it. Fans seem to love the song so much than why didn't they just team up together and purchase the original song? We all know how obsessed Korean fans are (hell, even international fans are too) there's no excuse. It's just fans not supporting the artists that they supposedly adore. They just buy whatever crap the overly popular girl groups put out instead of supporting the less successful groups. All I am saying is, these bitches better be supporting Brave Girls re-release if they were hounding Brave Brothers so badly over Rollin'. Everyone wanted to be asleep on the BOP OF THE YEAR last year because they were too busy on everyone else's ass to care.
Sorry about my rant. It's just so frustrating being a fan of groups that are so good (and sometimes so much better than the popular ones) and they are just poorly managed which causes them to lack success.
-Also, not sure why but Hayun seems to have deleted her IG. I can't find her anymore.

I am so excited for this! It's nice to know that Brave isn't going to put them in the dungeon like he did with the original members. About time he finally started paying attention to them again!
-
Well, if it's anything how Fantagio treats everyone in their company except Weki Meki and Astro? Matilda will be living in the dungeon right next to Hello Venus. :(
-
Why is it that all my favorite groups lack a comeback just when things were starting to look up for them? Matilda gets recognition for appearing on The Unit. Still no comeback. Brave Girls gets recognition for Rollin'. Still no comeback. Playback gets recognition for appearing on Mix Nine and for Want You To Say. Still no comeback. This is getting ridiculous.
-
They had a V Live fairly recently, no idea what was revealed on it if anything but I am hoping for a comeback soon! Rumors are starting end of August or early September.

He is so cute uggh please marry me

I really hope after this next Samuel comeback, Brave Entertainment focuses on Brave Girls. It's been far too long and it's not like Samuel is doing THAT good.
Seriously though. I feel like with every release, he just goes slowly downhill...
Man, I'd hate to be an ElectroBoyz fan. They are even far worse off than BIGSTAR and Brave Girls...
hi everyone ^^* im new on onehallyu so i don't really know how it works.... but hello
Welcome!

-
I'm very happy Brave Girls still performs on televised shows rather then being those groups who just drop off the face of the earth after their comeback ends.
But damn Brave Entertainment, when are you going to give Brave Girls a comeback? I know you're busy with Samuel but you must have enough money or staff to have someone take care of Brave Girl's comeback preparations.
Seriously though. It's not like Samuel's music is getting any better (if you ask me, he's slowly flopping with each release to be honest)

BRAVE GIRLS (브레이브걸스) OFFICIAL THREAD: Hyeran & Hayoon Officially Leave Group
in Groups
Posted
Yeah! She's so good, I am really glad she joined the new roster. I really grew to love these girls, to be honest, OT7 was so much fun.
Exactly. Even a better music video too if I say so myself.
Doubt it. It seems more like a gift to the fans then an actually promoted single. I would be surprised if they do though, I'm hoping they come out with something more than just a remix.
