This thread is a disgusting mess, seems certain onehallyu users are still holding on to their old Taeyeon hate boner. She spoke on behalf of the SNSD of today and what they went through. It's not a "back then there were only 8 who went through that", it's a "us 8 who are still here went through that to get here". SNSD has gone over 5 years without Jessica, she is simply not part of their journey anymore and SNSD members can't speak for how she feels about it no more than they can speak for how the other members of the original Super Girls lineup might feel about it. None of them are part of their journey anymore. If you're mad Taeyeon mentioned the number 8 even though that's the number of members they are you're clearly still salty about Jessicas departure and need to find a way to move on with your life already. SNSD can call themselves 8 as much as they want because that's what they are. The actual topic this thread should have been discussing was about Taeyeon defending SNSD from randoms disrespecting them and lying to use them for clout, she said if you didn't practice and sweat with us you shouldn't invoke the SNSD name so easily. Jessica did sweat with them so of course she's allowed, but miss Hong Minji did not.

The only thing we can do - Bring it up to the girls themselves. They either have to promise us OT8 will happen again (and not just for a 20th anniversary) or they have to be honest and say they don't think SM will allow it. I don't really care which it is, but I'm not sure I want to support their "subunit" releases until they give us a straight answer, i'm tired of being kept in the dark. And if they truly "don't know" I want them to say if they are actually fighting legally for it to happen or if they are even interested in it happening at all. Hmm what about the love triangle rumour didn't add up? The original rumour was about her, SYJ and another actress, Sports Seoul then posted an additional article where the 3rd party was HYS but it quickly got taken down. It added up with their dramas, "scandals" and SNSDs overseas tour, (even small parts like SYJ buying Yuri a car added up with paparazzi pics of SYJ checking out foreign luxury vehicles lol) but there was obviously no way to confirm anything, then it all got more suspicious when we got SYJ saying she has a homosexual disposition. Juran and Yuri have been over the top for a long time, the only thing that makes me distrust it is that if it was real they're way too obvious about it. There's been so many rumours over the years and that love triangle fits all too well, the way she is around her socialite unnies is so different from how she is around guys or her members too. Her and Juran might just be teasing with their obvious hints a la "Carol is our favorite film" but I'm convinced she's at the very least bi and has tried relationships with females before.
