I don't even follow BigBang or watch any of their stuff but is that Seungri dude gay? Earlier someone mentioned Tymee and her constant dissing of the show and some comments someone made about female rappers i thought what that person said was a bit relevant. Tymee probably feels very strongly about the image female rappers present . As a female it is hard getting ackwonleged for things due to baseless stereotypes. I think whoever said females shouldn't rap wrote that due to a lot of things and also this season's lineup . I have a lot of reasons why I feel as if people think female rappers suck or don't do as well . One there are more male rappers then female so for every shit male there is an even amount of amazing males. Since less girls are in rap there will be more bad ones. Someone also mentioned how Unpretty vs SMTM works SMTM weeds out the bad ones first unlike Unpretty who keeps. I feel like during both this season of UP and SMTM it has detoriorated . The good rappers went in the earlier seasons so it's just repeats no monster rappers and also for females less trying to rap . There is probably a stereotype that rap is a manly thing . Last when males make mistakes we forget like when Myundo,G2 and Reddy forgot their lyrics we all forgot. When some had no charisma or some flaw we let it slide. I feel both this female and male cast except GP,Miryo,Jidam,Soyeon Cjamm,Bewhy,Flowsick etc were weak . They were subpar and average like J'Kyun,Luizy,Taewoon etc only like 3 males were good. If they were so good why are they on Unpretty huh? Also I also think females can be intimidated by males, the males seem to think hiphop is their's and females are stepping on their fortay . Another reason I used to think males were better was that they were louder but not true for every male rapper I can find his female counterpart . I realized they were the same in flow,tone,dictation, performance everything except for one thing and that is confidence. Those girls need confidence like half of the SMTM were rejects rejects so subpar . Not to be rude but I think American female rappers are of a whole nother quality and we have more rappers here. Outside of that solo's don't have much influence at least the ones on the lower scale. I think for groups to do well they need their own thing , a platform and to eliminate the older solo artists and create a monopoly . I was reading something about this in regards to female rappers. So basically you already have a market that has this they call it a blue ocean . But to get people to notice you , you need a red ocean due to the blue ocean being oversaturated . Something of that sense . That one boy group X-Fire is doing pretty well due to that survival show, but I did some reasearch and people are only paying attention due to SM being behind it. Most of these listeners will be crossover kpop fans but that still is a market . But is that a loyal market?
