How do I say this I don't think they would be surprised and I also don't think they would want to know. But if she did I think they'd have more relief that it's a westerner vs home born korean, but still hate. They think that only foreigners can be gay, but not in their country. Sorry if I'm bringing the negative energy in here. But it bothers me how ppl can be in denial(fans), they say they want something obvious or for them to come out. They are too blind. Here are a few excuses used for why gay idols don't exist.I thought I was delusional a lot of times because of them but guys you're not. Excuse #1 Skinship They say that it is a different culture and we are wrong . It is a different culture true . Can we be wrong yes, but they are also wrong. There are two types of skinship love and friendship skinship. The way a friend expresses themselves verses lover is different. ( This exist in all cultures) They are a bit more touchy, but there is a certain level you can go before being suspected Excuse#2 No gay idols How is that possible if there are gay people among the ordinary people. Every year the gays in Korea take a poll on their favorite idols. If there is no gay this poll shouldn't exist. If the common people are gay the idols have to be too. The gay gene can't just skip over the idols. If there are gays in every country Korea can't magically have none. Excuse#3 Fanservice Yes fanservice is fake . Started by jealous fangirls who think gays don't exist so that's why they are ok with oppa's doing fanservice. Wait they don't want girls having them . But when they suspect a guy has them they hate them. Why cause then they also can't have them. Two straight guys can do fanservice and at the end of the day be straight. Two gay guys can do fanservice (of course fake) and still be gay but be with someone else. Fangirls only want their ship to be together. Apink Bomi saying she wants to marry a woman. A lot of people can say oh this was a mistake . But she said it twice . There was another one who said she didn't like guys. I want to say that the new idols are more open. But I feel this is just another money grab. They can't just appeal to straight fans now. They also have to appeal to gay fans. Maybe just for a moment gay is in. A lot of them are pushing boundaries but back then it was more real. It was real because rarely did anyone else do it. You can tell because back then there was only certain things done or said. If you made a really controversial statement it most likely had to be real (boundaries). Look the internet for rumors and substantial evidence 5. If they do something outside the box that even Koreans would be suspicious of there you go. If they do something that doesn't make sense. Making very obvious statements like the ones above are room for trouble, so if they are willing to risk that's a good idea. Idols then to be very safe , so if they do or say something not safe there is your clue. But if they are too safe and always defensive that can be good evidence too. 6. A lot of idols date in group due to their situation of dating ban and constant surveillance I know some idol groups can be fake and aren't friends in real life. But some are. Usually if too ppl date they are either too close to one another or too far apart (cause company knows). It can't be a ship cause ships are too fake. What I mean by too far apart is they could be doing nothing suspicious or be too suspicious there is always that one member who splits them apart. They also get in between these two people when they want to hang. Watch out for this. Or that person will always stand in between them, or give them a look like hey calm down we're on camera. Let's say someone saw their group member just talking on camera. All of a sudden X member runs to them in their shot. They aren't doing or saying anything weird. But X member always runs to them but not the others when they do their shots . For the too close what I mean is they are always near each other they aren't friends or a ship. Do you think HyungDon is gay/bi or do you think he just plays it up for the fans? HyungDon is the weekly idol host. Like for example they were doing profiles and talking about Rockhyun's eye smile, and he's like you don't look old blah blah blah you look so young I think I'm falling for you. It could be he's saying that to point out Rockhyun's good traits to the fans, but I know the fans wouldn't want some middle aged man telling their idol they looked good. Just my observation.

I'm writing what I observed from watching these groups. I'm not 100% accurate on this because some are hard to read . There might be one moment and then no more. Some of these groups I personally like, and others I felt were so underrated in this thread. It'd be cool to hear your opinion. M4M This group is weird when asked about their dating history. Almost trying to avoid the question by passing the mic over to the next member, to avoid answering. Or to be very vague . One said I have no dating history . But the host said don't tell me that I know you're lying. Bin The host asked what M4M thought about this other boy band. A pair of twins and if they were handsome. Bin really took a long time to think of an answer. He thought about the question seriously, as the others quickly chose . He was talking about their song Sadness and said how it was about a boy missing his loved one , and the others started laughing at him. Another member was asked about dating life . Bin then asked was it a boy or a girl? Vinson Was asked about who his favorite male group was and he said group I admire not like (seems to be projecting). TimeZ Seunghwan was complimenting member and said member was handsome. Then host asked who he thought was the handsomest out of all the members. He said Ah no I don't think like that. Then proceeds to still call the other member handsome and good looking. Mission was to help a girl get over a breakup. Question asked was how would you help a friend in a breakup Shuhang said that Hyungjoo would give himself to his friend(context?) Shuhang was talking to members and says when everyone is sleeping first thing in the morning don't sing. Other say we're not. This I have to say you two, really first thing in the morning you two. I'm writing what I observed from watching these groups. I'm not saying they are all gay or anything like that. I'm just writing the stuff I saw, and what I can conclude from that . I know it seems like a normal thing to do. Especially k-idols they call everyone pretty. But what stood out was this lady had non-conventional looks. So Ara was being genuine. Lime was complimenting all the other members about why she liked them, and Ara stoped her. She's like don't say it. She also seemed taken aback when Lime said she was grateful towards her . Lime kind of paused before she said it. She kind of starting squealing when Lime was about to say it.This could be something else especially if Ara is an emotional person when recovering compliments . Ara was asked about a favorite boyband and seemed caught off guard. She said the first group she could think of. Usually if an idol really likes someone they can say it right away. I know they prepare for these questions before hand too . Lime Lime was told to send a video message to each member. She gave all the members a compliment. Yes he's finally excepting himself I guess.
