  1. Noir is a really interesting song and video. Refreshingly unique, if a bit dark.
  2. I think Loona are most interesting Kpop group at the moment. It's not really possible to classify them, which I mean as a compliment. There is genuine creativity going on with them: songs, performances, all of it.
  3. From AllKpop: ------------------------------------------ Former Real Girls Project member Yukika is debuting solo at the end of this month! On February 14, new entertainment agency ESTiMate revealed, "We recently signed Real Girls Project member Yukika through an exclusive contract. She plans to debut as a solo artist on February 22." Teramoto Yukika first debuted as a teen model in Japan, before promoting via various CFs, animations, etc. She debuted as an idol in 2016 through 'Idol Master.KR', then participated in JTBC's idol survival project 'MIXNINE', garnering attention from domestic viewers. Yukika's upcoming debut album will be produced by veteran producer ESTi, the founder of ESTiMate. Look forward to more on Yukika's solo debut, and check out her latest profile photos below! ------------------------------------------
  4. I watched that new Seventeen video earlier and only from the logo remembered they are Pledis. Which made me think of Pristin and think to myself "Is that the reason? Is all of Pledis money going to Seventeen?". They do seem to be doing fairly well.
  5. Sori performed I'm Ready at Music Bank yesterday. It's cool to see her do the Music Bank car park walk!
  6. That's nice to see them all together. It usually seems in K-pop world that this type of meetup rarely happens (conflicting schedules etc). I think it shows how UNI.T meant a lot them all. Why does Euijin always attack Suji?!
  7. Sori's new song "I'm Ready" came out yesterday. It was briefly taken down from YouTube for some mysterious reason, but has now reappeared.
  8. I was scrolling through KBS World when I saw the "To.Jenny" drama listed and remembered NC.A was in it. I've just watched both episodes and it's really good. Best K-drama I've seen in a while. It's a shame NC.A only has a brief cameo, but I'm glad I watched it.
  9. It's a mini Idolmaster reunion. (I think they went to see a music performance somewhere.) https://instagram.com/p/BrIcUpqFA4i/ Click here to view the Tweet
  10. Suji's in an advert... Click here to view the Tweet
  11. Makes me think of when UNI.T members used to tease Suji by saying "She's an actress! She's just acting!".
  12. Here's something new. Yukika and Mint feature in a drama promo video called "Hello, Stranger" for an upcoming Korean tourism event. It's like every 16x1hr romance K-drama you've even seen compressed into 35mins. It's actually quite good - in a very warp speed way!
  13. Jiseul seems to have deleted her Instagram account. I can't find it or a replacement. If you're really keen, Suji's opened an account for her pet dog! Oh, and here's Jeewon and Taeri...
  14. Jiseul has received an award from her university. I think it might be a scholarship (according to Google Translate).
  15. About a week ago in Rozalin's instagram story there was a very brief clip if her calling out "Kika!" from a crowd of people watching some sort of filming going on. I watched it a few times, but couldn't work out what was going on. It looked maybe come sort of variety show. It was definitely Yukika. Maybe she's doing work for Japanese TV in Korea? Of course, that clip is gone now. Hang on... I've just found this clip from last month with Yukika being interviewed (in Japanese) about voice work for a game called Destiny Child. I recollect seeing her in photos for this game ages ago.
  16. Hi Lucky. Thanks for your amazingly detailed and emotional reviews of the last UNI.T fanmeet. Your dedication to the group is impressive and I'm sure very appreciated by the members. It was really interesting to read about all the details of the event. Obviously I was especially moved by your descriptions of Suji. You should feel very proud about your determination in travelling to Korea and making it happen for yourself.
  17. If there was an award this year for Most Hardworking Idol, it should go to Yebin. She starts the year in the stressful world of a TV survival show, then takes part in a project group and also her original group. In one episode of Weekly Idol she represents both groups (including dancing!). And on one live concert performs three times with three different groups! And never shows a single hint of exhaustion or complaint. Amazing!
  18. Soompi have got a QUIZ: Which Red Velvet Member Is Your Best Friend? I got Irene! Actually makes a lot of sense.
  19. And so Suji's time with UNI.T has come to an end. They have now officially disbanded. I get the impression she has enjoyed herself, although it's hard to tell with Suji as she's a fairly quiet person. Always the professional and reliable, she stood out as one of the main dancers which got her some attention. It appears that the music part of her career is also over. Judging from rough translations I've read, she appears to be settled on a future in the acting world because that's what her agency does. Although as far as I can tell, her agency (AOE) only seems to have her and another actor on their books, so they don't seem that big. I didn't quite understand it all, but Kpop is such a competitive world. It's almost like she's had her chance and that's that. Anyway, whatever she does and I wish her lots of success. She's still only 20 (Western). Suji Fighting!
  20. As they saying goes, all good things come to and end. I've enjoyed this year of following The Unit and UNI.T. It was mostly because of Suji that I started to watch The Unit. I remember being nervous throughout the episodes because she was usually placed around 9th/10th, but in the end she made it. She's a fairly quiet person as herself who never really seeks the main attention. Whatever she does next, I wish her every the success. Allow me one clip of her awesome dancing skills: The Unit's intention was to give debuted idols another chance to shine and it worked on me. The members who ended up in UNI.T have been a really engaging bunch. Relaxed, funny and super professional. The person who I've noticed the most is Yebin. She's amazing. This fancam below of Yebin of UNI.T's their legendary first ever performance (and in the rain) really sums her up (and the attitude of the rest of the members). Determined and hard working, but also just having a lot of fun. Oh, one final thing. This thread has been a happy and positive one on OneHallyu. I've enjoyed reading all your posts and I've learnt a lot. Thanks!
  21. I must admit I'd sort-of given up on Jeewon's vlogs as they were are bit, well, uninteresting. But I've just watched those two new ones. And they are still not exactly that exciting. At the end of hotel trip the subs say "Time to head back to daily grinds...", which just gets me asking "Which is what?". She doesn't seem to ever say what work she's actually doing for work in any detail! Oh well! With the subtitles, I remember that in either a Sori or Jeewon video we were introduced to guy called Paul (I think that was his name) who does those subs. It's worth noting that both their channels have English and Japanese subtitles, so maybe there is an IMX linkup somewhere.
