  1. So sad Pristin have disbanded. Such a waste of talent. It's all so weird, because Pledis must have invested so much money in them, why give up for no apparent reason? Doesn't make sense.

I hope the members get success somehow. For me, Pristin will always be remembered as a group of incredible skill and potential.

  2. Picky is such a great song, I thought this was the moment for Weki Meki to crack it. But I get the feeling it's not made the big impact yet. Weird - to me it's got viral k-pop hit written all over it. I keep listening to it all the time!

The video is cool, the stages so far are great and their M2 relay dance is the best one I've ever seen.

Hmm... maybe I should be more patient! It might still go large.

  3. Loona have definitely become my fave girl group at the moment. I've slowly got into them since last summer, but in the last few months I just keep listening to all of their songs over and over again.

I've watched their drama and a few variety shows here and there, but I know there are hundreds of short clips on Loonatheworld.

I've got a question for you all: should I try watch all their videos on Loonatheworld starting from the beginning? Do they all have English subs? Or are there any playlists that might be a bit more efficient to watch? Basically, I'd quite like to get to know all their personalities better. I still don't really know them very well.

  4. It seems that Yukika's promo period for Neon has come to an end after quite a long time (released Feb 22nd). For what seems a modest song for YouTube views (650k), she's appeared on lots of the music shows right up to yesterday. Maybe it's sold quite well in Korea? Anyway, she seems to have done well for her debut.

Here's a stage mix. Can anyone resist Yukika's smile? smile.png

  5. It's been so long since I've seen Youngjoo rlytearpls.png Is she focusing on acting now?

Yes, it seems so. She's been in a play recently (possibly another one as well last year).

She also does music with her sister, Joungjoo. They post quite often to their Instagram stories.

  6. I'm a fairly new DIA fan (followed Yebin from UNI.T) and I've just come across the web drama called "Happy Ending" they did in 2016/2017. Very surprising, provocative, confusing, shocking, unexpected... I've run out of words. They all have that plot hole problem a lot of web K-dramas have, yet are strangely watchable. Pretty good acting by everyone.

Anyway, if you're new like me, you might be interested...

  7. It's now ages since I'm Your Girl was released last May. I can't understand how such a long gap would be beneficial to them. Still, the mysteries of K-pop still confuse me! (For example I'm a long starved Pristin fan....)

Anyway, I hope we see a KHAN comeback soon.

P.S. Well done to Umji Moods for keeping this thread alive. smile.png

  8. I'm currently in Seoul on holiday and completely by chance I walked past the 2nd Anniversary poster at about 3pm today. I just happened to decide to go to Cheongdam station (trying to find some shops actually), randomly choose an exit and suddenly there was the poster. It must have been fate! I didn't realise it's the anniversary this month, so I thought I'd share it with you all. The people at @PristinProjecTH deserve a lot of credit for organising it.

If you look at the bottom left hand corner, you can see some Post-its put there by fans. A couple were in English saying really nice things like "It's not your fault... " and "We'll be waiting for you".

  9. Annyong Haseo,

Well, it had to happen eventually. I'm currently in Seoul for a few days on my way to Hong Kong to see friends. I've just been to a music shop called Buru's Ddeurak in Myeongdong where I bought both of UNI.T's albums. Better late than never!

It's quite an overwhelming experience seeing a whole shop full of K-pop. I've spent millions of hours listening to and watching K-pop, but to actually hold real albums is quite weird. Blackpink, Red Velvet, Mamamoo, IU, etc etc. I had to control myself in only buying UNI.T!

By the way, if there's one thing I've learnt from Seoul, it's that I need a new wardrobe! I must look such a mess...
