nah it makes more sense that Mnet denies all GGs comeback shows and only allows BGs to have them. Money is a stupid reason and its way more likely that mnet is just keeping GGs from having comeback shows because they are sexist.

They both serve the exact same purpose, they are for exposure. TXT showcase is meant to get them exposure to more people, idols going on variety shows is just a way to get their groups more exposure.

It's like payola in the same way NCT going on all those SM run variety shows is payola.

You are missing the part where it has literally nothing to do with deserving a show, it is almost certainly a purchased timeslot unless something comes out stating otherwise. Any company that can afford to can buy a comeback show if they want to spend the money for a comeback show most likely.
