7 members is not a big group, it's average... I don't really care about their number, I love really big groups but if they stay as 5 members then it's fine ! the girls will probably have more opportunities to showcase their talents if they are just 5 members (i mean in terms of line distribution). I can't wait to have new members! As for the visual, I think it will be Suji or a non introduced girl. Suji is pretty and was part of the visual line back then when she was a smtrainee so I wouldn't be surprised if she is Polaris Girls' visual, but I think they can have a member prettier. Hayoung will probably be the face of the group. But I don't think that their visuals are bad. They are pretty, not in a "overwhelming visual" way but I think that their faces are quite unique and yeah, I think they are pretty. I really like their new pictures! They have a different style than in their previous pictures and it suits them well. I'm wondering what will be their concept... I liked Ladies Code' old style (Pretty Pretty and Hate You ) but I expect something different and more public friendly for them

Well it seems like most BBC's trainees were from Polaris and have been transferred (like Heejin, Hyunjin, Kimlip ect..) so it would make sense that the girls who haven't made the cut go to polaris (again). But tbh unless the 5 girls shown in the polaris girls teaser are not the final line up, I don't think that any of the blurred loona girls will debut with polaris this time (or just one, but that would mean that she left months ago which is very possible). The youngest will probably stay longer and wait for a new girlgroup and the oldest ones will leave Polaris and BBC and go to another company as Loona will debut soon, same for Polaris Girls (even if they don't debut in 2018, it will be in 2019 I think) and the trainees have no guaranty to debut soon. Polaris and BBC could make another girlgroup in 4 years as they could make another one in 8 years so yeah a lot of them will probably leave, that's how it works usually.

Yes it's them I'm amazed how every cover of I'm Your Girl that the girls did is unique. It may be because the line up is never the same, but I enjoy listening to the 3 covers so much and they always sing it well! I hope we will have a new cover of I'm Your Girl after their debuts, so each line up would have sung it (but RIP Koeun and Hina lol, singing it 3 times is a lot but 4...)

Yeah me too.. The MYLIVE app is a bit difficult to use and not adapted to celebrities at all... And a more people would watch their live if they were on VLIVE because except fans, no one wants to download another app that they will use just once in a while for one group that is not really active... But yeah they have a deal with Donut (the developer of the streaming platform) so... But I hope that after their debuts the girls will have a vlive channel

Hayoung did a live on myapp today! it is available on replay I'm a litte bit upset that polaris haven't posted anything about it on polaris juniors' sns... we had no notification so a lot of us missed the live :/

They can't force her to be an idol neither. It wouldn't be the first time. There's a girl on youtube who was a trainee in a big agency and her speciality was acting: they forced her to train to be an idol and when they decided that she would debut she said no because she wanted to be an actress, not an idol. She never said the name of the company but from her story people assumed that she was at sm and should have debuted with Red Velvet. Or look at Sulli: they debuted her in f(x) but her true passion was acting, not singing and she left the group. Lami entered SM via acting. They may have put her in MMC just to have a fair number of girls or because they wanted her to debut as an idol and she later said no, that she doesn't want and that she wants to be an actress. SM has actors in the company, being a trainee doesn't mean that you are a trainee to be an idol therefore she could stay at SM without being an idol SM never said that SMROOKIES were just trainees to be idol. Lami have been introduced as an actress and she never took part of the activities of SRG before the MMC (like the SM concert or EXO 90 2014)

I AM SO EXCITED!!! I really hope that it's true!!! It's been ages that we are waiting for that legendary moment... My soul is ready but my wallet is not! I should find a job so i can have enough money to have a collection like kfans usually have (with all the photocards and version of an album and all the official merch etc...). I think their concept will be on the cute side because the girls are still young, but it will be something unique, as all sm artists. For the line up: - Koeun (confirmed) - Hina (confirmed) - Ningning (confirmed) - Yiyang (confirmed) - Jungyeon (95% confirmed, there's still a chance that they debut her as a soloist I mean, why not?) - Lami (50/50. I think that she's still a SM trainee but I don't know if SM still want to debut her as an idol... I mean the last time that we had an official update about her it was for the Gee MV. But I really hope they will debut her with the group) I think that SM will add more members, like 3/4 unknown members but they also might just debut them as a 5 or 6 members girl group For the 2003 girl I don't think she's a trainee. If the person who took a picture of Hina at Red Room concert couldn't identify the other girls the d-day i don't think that any other person could say "oh this girl was at red room and she's a trainee!". Memories fade over the time and even if someone saw her face I don't think they could be able to remember it well. For me it's another Emily Kim case.

Typical Kpop girl group? I see nothing typical about them lmao. You should get your facts straight before talking because by saying "add some nice looking, wow inducing trainees" that clearly shows that you never tried to know the members and that you're just here to hate based on their visuals which is not even a good reason as the girls have already gained attention by their stunning visuals and here I'm not talking about Lami which has more valid recognition concerning her visuals than most kpop girl group visuals. So please, if you are here to hate just leave.

Produce 101 China is supposed to air in May or something like that. Produce 101 always show the profiles of their contestants before the beginning of the show. So if Yiyang's profile is not shown that means that she's not a P101 contestant, as simple as that.

I'm 80% sure that Yiyang is still a SM trainee, she still follows smrookies on weibo. Hansol and Herin both unfollowed/don't follow smrookies' ig acc when they left, I don't think they have to do it but I don't get why Yiyang would still follows smrookies' weibo if she left when: 1) the girls are not promoted on this acc so it's not like if she wanted to stay updated and have selcas of the girls 2) even if they were promoted on this acc, Yiyang has their numbers so it makes no sense for her to follow the acc as she would probably be one of the first to know about their activities/have exclusive selcas (just like Herin with the girls and Yeri) I stay on my position: Yiyang came to China only for the holidays and It means nothing more. Even her selcas on weibo are not a proof that she left as she posted a selca during/a little bit before MY SMT and it wasn't an old picture as she wore the same clothes as in MY SMT. And the reason why she never answer about the other members is because she's probably not allowed to do that and isn't brave enough to break the rule unlike Ningning. But they will show the profiles soon, we'll see.

i was watching bonusbaby's dance cover of boss and I thought something that I've never thought before: Maroo really needs to do something about Bonusbaby. And here, I'm not talking about the name. They are mad talented, one of the most talented girlgroup that debuted in 2017 but their songs don't showcase their talents at all and that's a shame. There's literally no line distribution at all because they are singing the song together, like a choir even though they have two amazing vocalists. And it's not like if their songs were difficult to sing. I would be okay with that if they were more dance oriented but as I said: they are wasting the vocals of Gaon and Kongyoo. And it's not the fault of their cute concept: Lovelyz - Ah Choo, Oh My Girl - Cupid, April - Tinkerbell ect... are cutesy songs which showcase the girls' singing talent. Gosh even Lipbubble's tragic song managed to do that, it's not that hard! Thanks god at least they have good choreos which showcase their really good dancing talents Also, the members do not match cute concept. I'm a cute concept enthusiast and I protect groups who are doing cute concept but in bonusbaby's case... it kinda works if you just watch their mvs. But as soon as you watch their covers (and mixnine!!! omg their individual auditions) you can see that they don't really match it, especially Monhee and Hayoon. You can see that they enjoy so much more sexy/badass concept. And I honestly feel so bad for them. Now, I'm not saying that Maroo should entirely change their concept: the group is still very young so they can't do something mature and I personally love their cute concept sooo muuuuch, but sometimes we need to be realistic and in this case, being realistic means accepting the fact that Bonusbaby's current concept (or at least songs) doesn't work for them. Maroo really needs to do something and give them songs which have an actual line distribution and which showcase their vocal talents and why not their rap (even if they are not the best at it).

I'm shocked that Quanzhe is eliminated. I was expecting Xinchun, Zeren and Wenjun to be eliminated but Quanzhe? I had a little hope that he could be in the top9 again. It seems like Zhengting and Chengcheng dropped but I'm not worried about them: Most of Quanzhe/Xinchun/Zeren fans are also Yuehua's fans (as we can see with the performances, there's always a group of girls who say that they support Yuehua) so most of their fans will vote for Justin, Zhengting, Chengcheng and Wenjun. If I'm right, there's a little chance that Wenjun may be in the top9 or be close to. I voted for Quanzhe and Qin Fen but now I don't know what to do... I think i'll vote for Zhengting and Zhangjin... But I still have hope for Yanjin and Wenjun to be in the top9... For Qin Fen, I lost hope

According to Polaris' website, Seoyeon also participated in The Voice and Star Audition but I can't find videos on youtube... Polaris Girls are so talented, I don't understand why only Hayoung made it into Mixnine, Hajeong is really talented too and Suji must be talented because she is a former SM trainee and was almost a smrookies... I don't understand neither why Hayoung wasn't one of the favorites in the show, she was one of the best contestants.... I can't wait to see the future members, including Hajeong and Suji. Do you think that Chu Wonhui is a Polaris trainee and will eventually debut with the group? Because her instagram is still active and she interacts a lot with her fans (but she stags "trainee" on her posts so?). I know that she auditioned for Polaris but I think it was before Idol School... I hope she's a polaris trainee, she was one of my picks in Idol School and if she debut she will be my bias for sure.

Hello, i'm new to this thread! I just learnt today that polaris is lauching a predebut team so here i am hehe... I don't know if i'll stan the group but i'll keep a close eye on them! Seoyeon seems to be pretty. I really like her first picture but I really dislike the second one so i'm anticipating her future pictures as well as video content of her. I think the group will have between 5 members (the ones in the teaser) and 7/8 members. I doubt it's the final line up, all the groups that I know which had predebut activities (Pristin, Gugudan, Red Velvet, Weki Meki ...) debuted with unknown members. I think the 5 ones in the teaser are the ones confirmed to debut and then they will had a few members at the last minute, just before their debuts. The girl with short hair in the teaser is definitely Suji, and I'm kinda anticipating her because we don't know anything about her skills and I was so disappointed that mix9 haven't posted her audition... I saw someone saying that one of them is probably Loona's Bambi but i don't know why but I don't think she is. I do think that some of BBC's trainees who were cut from Loona's line up will go to Polaris but I don't know if some of them will debut with the group. Polaris already have their own trainees so BBC's ex trainees don't have the priority to debut: if a Polaris girl is better then it's her who will debut and from what we've seen with Loona members, all of them had a short training period at BBC so I don't think that any other girl trained longer. Unless Polaris have really a few trainees or the BBC girls are super good, I doubt that the rest of the members of Polaris' ggroup will be BBC's ex trainees. Maybe one or two but no more.

I think it will depends on her other skills. She obviously knows how to sing so I think that based on singing itself, she has the skills to be added to the debut line up. But she also needs to know how to dance, model, use facial expressions, have variety sense... and fit with the group. But in theory, even with a short training period, she could debut with the line up: kyuhyun, chenle, baekhyun, chen etc.. they all trained for a short time (i agree that some of them are musical geniuses like kyuhyun and chenle but we don't know this girl, maybe she has enough skills to debut with almost no training, i mean even without being a genius, maybe she have been a trainee in another company before). Even if she trains a year, a year of intensive training can make the difference and give her a spot in the girlgroup and at this point, there's chances that the girls won't debut until mid 2019 so that's not impossible. I think it's more complicated than that but I agree that the chances to see her in the ggroup are low. However I'm anticipating her and I hope she will becomes a trainee and debut with the ggroup because I like her visuals and her voice

hopefully this year or next year.... maybe 2020 if sm is really cruel...

It seems like she won a contest. I don't know why but it reminds me that months ago SM launched a contest and you had to send a video of you singing a song (that you wrote or not, i can't remember) and the one who won had the chance to sing a smstation song. I don't know if it's related, but they say "project battle singer" so she's probably not a trainee (yet) and is just training with sm for something. That's how I interpret it? I'm not fluent in korean, I just used google translation... I hope she is or will be a smtrainee and debut with the girls... She's really pretty and whatever she is doing with SM, she must be a good singer already or she wouldn't do it. She also seems young and they wrote "British Star Awards" so she's probably fluent in english and it would be a great addition to the group since Herin left. I love this version but I prefer the group version ! I'm happy that Koeun got a duet because she doesn't have a lot of lines in most of osts, but I wish she would have sung the high note/adlib part instead of the guy... I don't think it's sound as good as when Ningning does it and that's why I prefer the group version: even if the guy sings really really well (I don't know who he is but I hope he's one of the two Kunwoocas' friends), it sounds better with the girls voices for me

Having a website like soshified cost a lot of money and take a lot of time. I don't know for soshified, but some other groups have a website which often belongs to a fanbase/association (shinee and bap has/had one in french for example). But as I said, it cost money to do that so I don't know if anyone would be willing to spend that much money to create a website for a group which is not popular yet because to have the money to do that you needs fans and if there's no fans -> it's a loss of money. I think SR18G had one at some point but it closed (i'm not really sure?)

I think she's probably talking about Hina's rumor...There's no other rumors I can think of... There was a rumor about Yiyang but I doubt that Herin would have posted about this one because she probably doesn't know Yiyang and the rumor wasn't loud at all, unlike the one about Hina. And as for the video, I'm 90% sure that it's Koeun who's talking. Some people are talking about Lami and Hina too but I can't really recognize their voices in the video. Also It was posted in Herin's ig story during Lami's birthday so there's high chances that they met and celebrated Lami's birthday together. Unless if Herin says that it's not Koeun (which I doubt she will do, whether it's really Koeun who's talking or not), I'll assume that it's really Koeun.
