so we were wrong??? sm was doing all of that for nct?..... even my nctzen side is not happy... if it's really confirmed, then nct will not have any rest this year and same for us. As much as I love them, I would prefer seeing them 2/3 times a year... we are seeing them so much that there's not even hype anymore

I don't think that's that. Gyuri is not going to school anymore and at the beginning of fromis_room we saw her parents and they seemed happy and supportive. However I also think of something with her family. Maybe that a member of her family passed away or is very sick, it happens sometimes. But the best explanation for me is that she's filming something which takes time (type law of jungle or the new reality show, i think it's dunia?) there's a lot of tvshows which needs to be filmed for days or weeks, I wouldn't be surprised if it's that (and that would explain why she wanted to make a vlive, she knew that she wouldn't be there for a few weeks/days and wanted to see her fans)

hello welcome in the thread! You said everything I think. It looks like things are quietly moving to lead towards a debut or at least something. This something could be NCT or I don't know what, but it's the perfect timing to debut the ggroup so I really think this time it's for SR18G. And if they debut this year, I also think it should be this summer, not only because of the pattern but also because all of their artists had a comeback at the beginning of the year and if they thought of debuting them, I don't know, in winter, comebacks wouldn't have been so packed. I'm so desesperate for news but I know that we will get something soon (and sometimes we have new OSTs, at least we are not living a severe drought). We just have to be patient, it's just a matter of months now.

Their interactions with their fans seems to be so cute! Fans are lucky. I'm also very happy that Japanese people liked them, I knew that they would like Jiheon's ponytails lol.

Subin?? I've never heard of her... I don't believe it neither. Yiyang, Jungyeon (and Lami) are not here so it can't be true, if SM really wanted Koeun to be the oldest they wouldn't have introduced Yiyang in the first place. I don't know who's Hayeong neither but I suppose that OP meant Hayeon (?), and i strongly believe that Hayeon is not a trainee so it adds a reason for me to not believe this rumor. Having a 99 liner as leader, why not. But having a 2005 as maknae is more than impossible. It would mean that the maknae would be 13 years old (intl age) if she's born at the beginning of the year and 12 y.o if she's born later in the year. Even in Korean age it doesn't seem possible.

Hello, welcome to the thread! I think that Stone Music confirmed on the fancafe post that Gyuri had an individual schedule that's why she couldn't come to Japan. Since it's not written on the public schedule it's something private and we will probably know what it was soon! We shouldn't be worried, it happens sometimes (even if I think it's kinda irresponsible to make her miss KCON Japan...) The girls were so pretty at the airport! Especially Nakyung woow her visuals were on another level and Maiden Blush Rose-nim's photography skills definitely makes her even more beautiful! I can't wait to see their performances, I wish I was here

Quite sad that Gyuri is not coming. They are still rookies and performing to KCON right after your debuts is not given to everyone... I hope it will not impact their popularity, her individual schedule better be something really important because i'm sure that she's disappointed to not attend KCON too.. Especially since she is 1/3 of fromis_9's vocals, it's not as if she was a "useless" member... Well at least Jiwon will have more lines, it seems like she sings Gyuri's lines. Anyway the girls looks so pretty and I'm surprised to see how many people came to support them. I knew that they have a big japanese fandom but it's always nice to see them loved. I'm also glad that they are performing Glass Shoes, To. Heart and Pinocchio. Japanese people love Glass Shoes (and intl kpop stans loved glass shoes too) so the ones who don't know them yet will like it for sure and the ones who know them but forgot about them will remember and maybe turn into new fans if they like To.Heart and Pinocchio. It's a safe but good choice To. Heart was obvious since it's their title track but I'm sure they will like it too. Its typically the type of songs that japanese people like. Same goes to Pinocchio. It's a fun song with a fun dance so it's a great way to end their performances and I'm sure that people will love it. I'm anticipating their performances and i'll be under fromis_9's videos that Mnet will post to introduce them to new fans hehe

honestly.. There's a difference between having a lot of trainees and having a lot of prepared trainees... Just because they may have like 100 girls trainees doesn't mean that they are all talented enough to be introduced at the moment. With Jeesu and Winny leaving (and potentially other girls too as only Koeun, Hina, Lami and Herin were on MMC and no girls from the curation pic have been introduced), it could have ruined SM's projects because having an app for 4/5 members out of 10 originally is kinda useless. Especially if they already conceived the app with all the original line up, removing most members would cost more money than simply never launch it and give up the project

i'm so happy that the girls are going to dream concert too, they are getting good promo. I hope that they will go to KCON USA too, Wanna One are coming and IOI came to KCON Paris so unless they are promoting at this time, it would be great if they come. I'm not from the USA but it would make them more popular in the West. Anyway I think we can expect a comeback at the end of may/beginning of June? And we keep being well fed, too bad that they are not subbing the videos anymore. They are subbed by fans but it was a good argument to attract people in the fandom....

I'm really satisfied with this top9! All my favs (who were not eliminated before obviously) got in, except Wenjun and Qin Fen. When Xukun cried... I thought that I would cry too. He deserves to be center SO MUCH and I'm happy that Ikuns worked so hard for him. I'm surprised for Yanjun, I would never have thought that he would be in the top9, especially that high! It's a good surprise and he deserves it! I'll stan the group, I hope they will have good songs
