  1. I don't think it's fair to judge Helen's skills... I admit I'm not the biggest fan of her but the only video of her we got was pre-SM and we definitely don't have enough content to judge exactly how good she is. Just because she wasn't sharp 2 years ago doesn't mean that's still the case. I wouldn't have called Ningning a good dancer by any standard based on her predebut videos but she dances well now. Helen started with good skills, she can only be better now
  2. I can see it happening and I WANT it to happen. I spend my days on simulation games and I would love an SM themed one
  3. Yeah I thought about that too. I don't think that anyone is going to support his business, except maybe crazy fangirls assuming he has some and that they live in the area
  4. I would be pissed too if some 15 y.o with no background in filming criticized my work... He said not to be rude but people are insulting him. I didn't watch the video but it can't be worse than the Red Velvet (and now aespa) cameraman on that music show.
  5. I think the form of their face and the cheeks make them look a like. They didn't look a like in her trainee and predebut pictures.
  6. No. Yebin was a Lipbubble member, which is under the same agency and they flopped (for very obvious reasons unrelated to the girls themselves). If having only east asian passing members was the recipe to success, there wouldn't be many nugu groups... I think that unless Zenith gave them great songs and tons of promo they wouldn't have been more successful than Z Girls
  7. You put the right word on what I'm feeling: it looks as gross and weird as peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I usually like sweet/savory foods but I once tried PB&J and I hated it... and I think I would feel the same about the Inkigayo sandwich. I also dislike coleslaw... so there's almost nothing I would like about this sandwich lmao but I still would like to try it one day. I heard they're selling it in Korea
  8. 2. Used to be 0... I think that politics are boring, difficult and that all politicians are bad (talking specifically about my country, for several reasons). I also didn't feel concerned by what they were saying, even though I voted last elections. Now I'm a bit older and I experienced life more as an adult so I have better ideas about what is important to me or not and have a few opinions but I still don't care about it. It's not like if I planned to live here anyways...
  9. Exactly. I've experienced that, multiple times and it hurts more than what people may think. I'm still following them, some don't want to be idols anymore, some debuted elsewhere and some never said if they still want to pursue the idol path or not... Whatever they do, I'll keep supporting them. I think being a predebut stan is a unique journey, filled with joy but often sadness lol. It's definitely not for everyone
  10. It's not Iz*one fault's, but Stone Music is really laughing at the victim's faces by doing that. They should have waited until giving them a comeback or make them comeback in Japan. Even though the girls have done nothing wrong (unless they themselves gave money to the PD to be rigged in which I doubt) I understand why Knetz are so angry
  11. Yes ! Until now, I was a predebut stan of NCT, Nature, Dreamnote, Weeekly, Ariaz and a few other groups but most importantly, aespa ! aespa were my ults and I followed them for years lol. Now that they debuted, I'm currently stanning Mystic Girls and YOURS. Mystic Girls have known girls that I like and are all very talented while YOURS is an interesting project and has tons of content even though they're from a small agency. What I like about stanning predebut groups is that it is easier to get interactions and you feel closer to them. For example oomf on twitter is basically bestie with Mystic Girls' Tsuki and plenty of predebut stans (including me hehe) got noticed multiple times by Xu Yiyang and aespa's Ningning. It usually don't happen once idols debut.
  12. But then it is unfair, if they exempt BTS for example, I can already see EXO-L saying "but why did Exo had to serve?". I'm taking this example but most fandoms will probably react like that, and I wouldn't blame them... They also can't do based on their feelings because I don't think that's the kind of decision only one person takes so that's assuming there is general consensus about this group and they can't do that about every single popular group... They have to draw a line somewhere. I personally think male idols shouldn't be exempted from service. They're citizens first and in my opinion they have to show the example. Also, as we could see with groups like SuJu going to the army won't impact much their career if they're indeed that popular. 30 years old is (let's be honest) the end of the career of an idol, at that age they usually do more solo activities and less group activities. I don't think that at 32 y.o, when coming back from the military, BTS will still want to tour the world with 6 other men all the time. They'll probably want to do like any other boygroup in the world: settle a little bit and do things on their own while still releasing an album together every 1 or 2 years, why not. Going from 28 y.o to 30 y.o isn't that much of a difference tbh, I don't think many people care.
  13. Yes, I think 4th gen has already begun but that it is just the beginning. 3rd gen boygroups are enlisting, idols are taking individual paths and new groups are starting to get really popular (like itzy for example). I think it started around 2018/2019
  14. I loved today's performance, their outfits were really cute ! Also Ningning and Winter are clearly the fashionistas of the group haha
  15. What do they mean by Hallyu stars ? Do they mean every single male idol, no matter how successful or nugu they are or only those who sell a certain amount of albums etc...?
  16. What happened to her ? I was 4 y.o when this song came out but I remember being OBSESSED with Girlfriend when it came out and The Best Damn Thing a few years later. It feels like last time I heard about her it was almost a decade ago
  17. No I don't care about demos. I have only listened to La Vie En Rose since I was curious and the small snippet of of 2 ex Pristin members that produced Glass Shoes for fromis_9
  18. I don't dislike any of them except Zimzalabim. Coloring Book is BY FAR my favorite and I still don't understand why so many people hate it, I thought it was similar to Cupid which is in Oh My Girl's top3 of their best songs (aka coloring book, bungee and cupid)
  19. I don't care if he did something or not: there's no way he didn't know and he's as responsible as the one who did something. He's a piece of sh*t and he deserves to be in jail for a long time. Being a celebrity doesn't make you a good person and I can't believe that there's still people supporting him
  20. There should be a law to forbid them to be near their victims. This is awful, I can't imagine how scared his victim must be.
  21. I think everyone here knows what I feel about these 7 members rumors so I'll just shut up............
  22. SM confirmed the positions and Karina is the leader "AYA YA YA YA" is just a repetition of the last syllable of KWANGYA tho... I don't think it means anything special
