So I watched the first episode. I'm still amazed at how I still feel so awed by the 3DMG scenes and scenes where they slice off the nape of the Titans. Those scenes will probably always be my favourite, although there were very of them in this episode. On the other hand...I still dislike those CGI scenes they use for zoomed out shots of the whole Survey Corps group riding their horses. Most of the first half of this episode (Titan in the walls, Zoe and the priest confrontation) was already out well before this premiere so i thought the start was a bit slow. But when it picked up pace, it was already RIP Mike :( At least he was a badass till the end.

can someone please explain to me what the new PV is supposed to be for? I mean what exactly is the OAD? Seeing CCS animated again is really...strange. Not a bad strange. Just makes me nostalgic. The animation looks so smooth and HQ and dreamlike. So beautiful.

It's not just the trailer though. The trailer showing only the first arc is pretty understandable. But the problem is with the announcement of the Blue ray/DVD release of season 2. They've announced 2 volumes for season 2 and the second volume will be released in August. 25 episodes would mean season 2 would end in September/October for a November Blueray/DVD release. August means the show ends in June/July. Idk if this is conclusive evidence but it's definitely worrying evidence. Hopefully they will announce more volumes till november! Of course I'm not convinced it'll be only 12 episodes. But just putting this out there lol

I already keep up with the manga but in anticipation of season 2 I watched the anime all over again and reread the manga! Fckkk I'm so hyped now. I hope the production delivers. That soundtrack in Season one just made everything so much better along with the animation during 3DMG use scenes (especially Levi/Mikasa scenes). I just can't wait to see similar badassery in motion in season 2. Manga spoilers below

well this is the 20th anniversary reboot movie so it banks on nostalgia. There's also an extended version trailer out which plays out scenes from the very first episode plus new scenes with Ho-oh. I'm guessing the movie *might* explain why ash's journey never ends lol Also hoping Misty and Brock appear in this movie <3

I finally bought North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell after seeing it on the Goodreads Valentine's Day special top 10 list. I really hope the book lives up to my excitement lol This was my first book of 2017 and I'm so glad i started my year with it. It was so good. I love books with a good amount of character development

Subbed anime. Most Japanese voice actors seem to put their soul into their voices while dubbing. It makes watching the anime so much better. Most English dub voice actors seem to be too scared of using their voices properly.
