  1. Sales do make a difference for SMA but at the end of the day, I don't think it'll be what swings SMA. Digitals and Sales count together for the 40% (?) which at the end of the day isn't going to be the deciding factor. I think judges will swing it
  2. We need a pretty equal amount for SMA/Gaon quarter so it doesn't matter which one fans are aiming for. Around 600-650k is the goal. The only issue for SMA is whether the album's 2018 sales still count? I don't really understand their criteria in that regard? But GDA is pretty solid and confirmed. Losing out on SMA would be sad.. but it's not worth getting stressed over. We've had a great award season, and I think it'd just be nice to enjoy the comeback and let what happens.. happen.
  3. our streaming and downloads are excellent and not far beyond the previous years that people like to pretend ~proves exo are declining so nice to see, thank you!
  4. So.... SMA counts all sales throughout the year from January 2017 to December 2017 GDA's Daesang is basically "AOTY" and considers one album's (Normal + Repack) sales? I think we have good chances for GDA and SMA is close but might lose it?
  5. Yep. Monster got 100m in February so 7/8 months. Youtube views have become incredibly inflated in the last year, it's amazing
  6. He's probably gonna delay too to be honest, I can't see him going much before Minseok.
  7. I guess I hope they don't put it all in Japan though. But when I said rely, I meant more as SM's more successful groups/acts. Only RV, EXO and Taeyeon have both strong digitals and physicals at the moment. SUJU are getting shipped off on tour, TVXQ more of the same so there's tour money even if EXO don't spend the entire year out. And EXO's physicals are a little more than strong, they just broke 1M with The War this year, it would be ridiculous to not at least release a mini, if not a full album.
  8. They'll comeback If they don't, that seriously leaves very few groups for SM to rely on next year. They might debut their NGG but I don't think they can get by with no main comeback honestly.
  9. I'd love to believe these are true since I would do anything for a London show but..... all men lie
  10. EXO got delayed this year though, and were definitely meant to comeback in June. So it's obviously not their desired kind of timing for a comeback. I think because the concert got pushed 2/3 months late, EXO Planet 4 might just be more condensed? Less time in between each date? Or you're right, might just comeback during their tour. Maybe May/June once again.
  11. Yeah, but they're not really saying "single edition" and instead "first album". The War was the first album to reach 1M without a repack and the Language edition doesn't change that. Gaon announced it, and so if they're going to backtrack like that and undermine EXO's, they should make that clear imo.
  12. Anyway, wow! This is the first year where EXO has excelled both physically and digitally for an album and I really hope they get what they deserve for what is an amazing accomplishment.
  13. OSHBar bought 3k copies of The War Click here to view the Tweet
  14. Hopefully Jongin's drama (is it coming out? :( ) will do well!
  15. Where did you hear that? I really don't see that happening. SM still only have a few very relevant acts in Korea and EXO aren't going to make any massive leaps in their J-Fandom any time soon so unless they're that desperate to sell some extra albums and concert tickets, then it'll probably just be what it always is. An album or so every year? Maybe push CBX there or something. Japan is definitely where the money is and since China isn't exactly working out for them, it's possible they'll do more, but I don't think it will be a lot.
  16. I love it! Coming Over was a good album tbh. And tbh I definitely prefer over Girls
  17. I don't remember if they actually performed but the KKB challenge was mentioned and they actually did it, so it's getting some exposure!
  18. several years later no? i haven't read but i assumed they would hire an older actress when they get to that bit?
  19. This was posted back in early June, surely things have developed from there? Issues still exist but I'm not sure if this is all together accurate of the current situation.
  20. Yeah, I get that. I didn't mean to imply people think they're flops, just getting overly scared or worried when no one has actually yet to beat their physical sales. And yep, MMA is very hard because there's a lot of digital competition but I honestly still don't see why SMA should be impossible. There's also AAA and Soribada, which might not be as prestigious but it's a Daesang to add if they can win Whatever happens, I'm sure EXO will do well.
  21. Why would EXO not get a daesang this year? Just seems like everyone's buying into the ~Exo's flopping talk. Unless, someone releases an album + repack that reaches like well over 1.5+, there's no reason they won't. MMA's were always gonna be hard this year but SMA and every other award show is very possible. SMA is 20% voting, 40% Album/Digital, 30% Judges, etc...... there's nothing very against them there.
  22. Laugh At any rate, it proves one thing, Ko Ko Bop was genuinely liked by a good portion of melon listeners because Exo-L's are obviously prioritising Power over it.
