  1. Whew Kenta Click here to view the Tweet Also Yongguk......is he okay Click here to view the Tweet
  2. I think there are too many 'small' movements in the Boomerang choreo, and those are so much harder to sync than the bigger movements in BIU and Energetic. You pretty much have to be on Don't Wanna Cry level for those small movements to look good, otherwise you end up with that mess that happens right before the chorus where even Woojin and Daniel are out of time with each other. Other than that, I agree about the lack of practice time, and also the whole transition thing. There's so much 'walking around to get to the correct spot' going on, and they have way too many members for that to look okay. I actually do like the choreo though, especially for the chorus parts. I think it'd probably look really good synced.
  3. Minhyun giving Baejin selfie lessons today ehehe Click here to view the Tweet And poking him Click here to view the Tweet
  4. Daniel's was all over my tlist, I can't believe I forgot omg. I didn't know Minhyun changed his too though! I'm imagining the kids all crowding around them giving their (very loud) opinions on which pictures they should pick hehe.
  5. Ong and Jisung changed their fancafe DPs!
  6. I have a really quick question - I was just watching VIXX's LieV and does anyone know the second song that they played? The piano one that N picked. Apparently it's That Warm Day by Our House but I'm not sure if the translation is right because I can't find anything when I Google it :( I'm just kind of a sucker for piano instrumentals.
  7. Forever shook by the move at 1:03. And the way Sanggyun looks down and then up again like he knows what exactly kills us all.
  8. LOL funny you should say that, because the MC asked Hyunbin what the concept of his cake was and he said in English, "Art."
  9. Donghan is so wild lmao. And happy birthday Taedong!!!! I hope he's doing well; I miss him :(
  10. I lost it at the grandmother game omg I'm basically Hyunbin now ("my stomach hurts"). Kenta just couldn't stop laughing lmao
  11. Rather than not being able to speak of Sica at all, I think we just need to be aware that there are many SONE in this thread with many differing points of view regarding Sica and 9/30. The facts surrounding her departure are still so muddy that inevitably, any statement that sounds like it's making a strong statement about the girls' current relationship (which lbr none of us have any idea about) is bound to bring out equally strong opinions. She was a very precious part of SNSD for 7 years, and we obviously don't want to erase her presence or contributions just because we as fans can't have a civil discussion about her.
  12. I finished it yesterday and I would say it's certainly worth reading. There's a lot of social commentary, as would be expected from King, and exploration of the human condition, which are all areas I think he excels at. If you're looking for horror than I'd say this isn't really it; the magical realism aspect of it is a lot stronger than the straight-up horror. Mm, other than that, I didn't find Sleeping Beauties as gripping or climatic as his other books (Under the Dome, for instance, is one of my favourites), so - not one of his best, admittedly, but even 'not one of his best' is better than a couple of other books I've read this year LOL.
  13. Currently reading Sleeping Beauties, by Stephen King and Owen King. I'm about a third of the way through and enjoying it so far (and probably will continue to, judging by my track record), although I keep forgetting it's a collaboration with his son? The whole thing feels very Stephen King-esque and I can't really feel Owen's influence tbh.
  14. Just wanted to peek in and say hi, and that Yongguk laughing gives me life? Idk why but I'm just always very startled when he laughs. He looks so happy These boys have grown on me so quickly, and I'm loving the album!
  15. it's been more than an hour but i'm still kind of in shock? idk. i don't even really have any words. i hate that we were all waiting for the contract renewal news after the comeback but they wait until we've finally dropped all our guards to wreck our lives like this. i feel doubly shaken because i'd already prepared myself, and then kind of forgot the danger. i will always, always support all 9 girls no matter what, and as happy as i am that they (fany, seo and soo) will be able to follow their dreams and aspirations without being held back by sm, it's just so hard to swallow now that it's actually happened. i think i've always joked about snsd being it for me in kpop. they're my cornerstone, have been for 6 years, and i honestly don't know what kpop still holds for me now. i'm just so - sad.
  16. Interesting is definitely a word for it. I would say give it a go if you're not squeamish about things like this; obviously it deals with a very mature topic but it's one of those 'awful subject matter but very well-written' books.
  17. Tbh I'm super sad and I cried a bit even though I wasn't fully satisfied with pacing of the last few episodes. I count myself a RinSan shipper but in the end it's really the RinWonSan friendship that mattered to me the most, especially that silent goodbye scene. RinSan got to leave together but you could tell they were all heartbroken to leave Won behind Also the way Won just randomly left to Yuan lmao; I mean, I get that it was historically accurate (presumably?) and he wanted to put distance between himself and RinSan since he didn't trust himself not to go after them or whatnot, but it just felt very...abrupt. Also RIP to my problematic sideship Mooseok x Biyeon. I was increasingly dissatisfied with Mooseok's asshole-ness in the past few episodes, so I'm glad he got to redeem himself at the last minute (if only he hadn't hesitated with his arrow ). He deserves a 'you tried' gold star. Biyeon didn't even get a final scene so...well. Anyway, ultimately I enjoyed this drama - the humour, the acting, most of the storyline. I'm also a sucker for bittersweet endings because I love pain, so I'm not even that upset at the finale. Really gonna miss these characters, including Dan and Won's 2 cute bodyguards.
  18. Wow........ *after temporary speechlessness* those are some feels they're throwing at us
  19. Ikr? I went to check out The Black Jewels since I liked The Others, and I got a culture shock lmao. I guess she's polished her world-building over the years.
  20. Would recommend The Others series by Anne Bishop Very interesting world and characters, and definitely not relationship-focused (in fact it progressed so minutely many people perished from waiting for the main couple to get together lmao). It's a complete series; the 6th book listed on Goodreads is the start of a new spin-off with different characters, etc.
