Yeah they got the big3 advantage + are trendy, but I’d be inclined to put more established groups like mamamoo, Apink, and even gfriend above them.

I don’t like it when groups use a hard dance as a crutch to never sing live. If the dance is too hard for a group to show their skills properly (where we can at least hear SOME vocals) they should make the dance less tiresome. This isn’t the case for special stages and such tho

The lyrics were embarassing, especially the ending. These girls have natural auras and charisma, why do they always overdo trying to sound "swaggy"? Prechorus + beginning is so pretty and nice though. I saw a comment on reddit that said it sounds like Teddy worked hard on the beginning, realized he had a deadline, then put together some wonky beats + lyrics to finish it up. It sounds unfinished.

I think all onces know she's not a great singer. If they don't, they need a reality check. Still, I'm not gonna discredit Momo or all of Twice for their hard work over the past 5 years. Each girl has strengths in their own areas, and never has Momo's voice been a reason for me not to enjoy Twice's music. What do y'all expect us to do, unstan?

Honestly I don't take SOTY awards that seriously, most years we know the artists that deserve it get robbed. I'm sure a lot of sketchy stuff goes on behind the scenes as to who gets the awards. I really appreciate the civil conversations people have on here about sexuality— nobody forces labels on anyone, you all just remain cautious (and maybe a little hopeful). That's more than I can say for other shipping fandoms who are convinced two people are married to the point it becomes aggressive and disrespectful towards the artists. One thing I have to say— I understand not everything on this thread has to be "proof", but I hate how two people just looking at each other somehow is a cue for someones sexuality. You could literally take any clip of two friends looking at each other, slow it down, and add dramatic music, and everybody would be convinced they were gay.

Drawing attention to Jennie by deleting the youtube video, announcing Jennie's solo debut right after Blackpink's most successful group comeback yet, there's no way he didn't think that would cause backlash. Unless he is an actual idiot, which actually has been proven a few times. There is so much talk among fans about the other girls solos and pressure for comebacks on his instagram page... he probably thrives on the attention. Too bad it's hurting the girls.

Honestly think it's gross that someone leaving a label before they even debut is "betrayal". It's strange even to follow trainees so intensely predebut anyways: if they're not part of any official group yet, why should they owe it to their predebut "fans" to be "loyal" to a nonexistent group? If she had debuted with the JYPNGG and then left for the black label group then SURE you could consider that betrayal, but even then this is her career and her choice. Somi is her own person and has become popular with her own charms. She does not owe JYP anything. You shouldn't have to be "loyal" to the company you work if someone offers you a better deal or you think you would be happier somewhere else.
