  1. It is so strange why this PD risked to rig the very first eliminations on S1. From 60 remaining trainees he kicked out 2. Why? The show wasn't s popular at the first round, votes were allowed even to international fans and those 2 poor trainees even weren't among the ones in most screentime? There is only one disturbing explaination - to test the system, to check how they can bypass it. As a fan of season 1, I read many fanaccounts from the live concerts. Some people withnessed how staff tried to mislead JGS, giving him wrong plates with the names of the girls on the very first live concert! Or doing other things on purpose. It seems there was a little war between the PD Ahn (who was only a director on the first season) and the Executive producer Chul, who was fired after the first season. Now we see Mnet made the wrond decision as they gave all the power tho this corrupt Ahn.
  2. The PD didn't say what he rigged in Season 1 and 2. If we accept evil editing and unfair screen time can't be qualified as rigging, but as manipulation of the public opinion, he should have directly changed the final line up. I really want to know what he did. The truth is if he got away with his little tricks in S1 and become more greedy later, in 3 and 4 the corruption was at astonishing levels. It can be true he was alone or only lower ranking staff helped him. There are people at every level involved.
  3. Evil editing exists always in reality shows, especially in Korea and of course Mnet. PDs create dramas where it doesn't exists or hide info. All to create tension and to make viewers to root for the girls more. Different storylines - Cinderella, the big star's sister, the auntie, the 10years trainee.... all to boost the rating. Here the question is if trainees received secret guiding from staff members because their companies were bribing the show or not. In the first season it was far less unlikely than other seasons.
  4. This corrupted PD was practically a staff member of the first season. There was a strong executive producer, who was controlling the things. We should remember everything was done for the first time - live concerts, missions, announcement of which trainees are going to next round and who are not. Also the strong international voting was influencing the ranking. From season 2 onwards the Ahn PD took the power. And I-fans were banned to vote.
  5. The Produce franchise is still strong in China and Japan. As a fan only of Season 1 I can say I stopped watching because something started getting fishy right after IOI exploded as a big hit. How everything happened? There was an idea of a new show. In the hands of the right PD (not this one) and the people he chose to work with (trainers, staff) it created a buzz and suddenly all the country was dancing on "Pick me'. At the final episode the CEOs of the entertaining companies were sitting and watching the creation of something that can be a golden mine for everyone of them. $$ $$$ $$$$ When the next season was announced, the PD was fired and someone else took his place. The voting system was changed - no international voting! needless to say my interest dropped.... Sadly the corruption that always existed in this industry and we started to learn about it more in 2019 made some of those CEOs to find another way to win more $$$$$$. Bribing people is always a choice for dirty minds.
  6. Soooo strange... The PD took this position from Season 2 and during 48 and X he supposedly become greedy and accepted "gifts" from entertaining companies? A legit question - MNet didn't know AT ALL???? Not mentioning he had to rig the votes somehow and with technicians' help.
  7. Tenshi123, on 02 Dec 2017 - 2:32 PM, said: Since we have no thread for non-idols, are there any other Korean celebrities (actors, comedians, etc) you think that are gay/bi/pan? I think the only ones I heard are Park Bo Gum (I think that video with V?) and the Celeb Bromance pair, Nam Joo Hyuk & Ji Soo (though I'm still unsure if they are just real good friends or a couple) Any other male celebrities and reasons behind your speculation? Wow! Just throwing names? And what are the reasons? Don't say "They look like" Photos, events? BTW Long hair and earings are not a proof
  8. JJ is really close with Jang Keun Suk. They are so lookalike. They are both actors, singers, models Now they both have Shibuya buildings with shops and cafe, both will be models for "Tokimeki Love story game" and now both will have Japan fanclubs with all those special offers to fans. Well, the difference is a about 5 years, but anyway
