  1. Just to add to this, in my opinion, rating is only one part of the equation on the success or less success of an event. There are also sponsorships (which can reduce the burden of cost for the event organizer), ticket sales, overall feedbacks of the event from the viewers, etc.
  2. Haha yes it was a fan hoping for a collab between the three in early 2019, it's sorta like a funny serendipity that at the end of the year those three somehow going to end up performing together in a special stage that MBC Gayo Daejejun arranges. Hopefully all will run well so that the fans (and quite a few other fans) that have been hoping to see the three perform together can get their collab wish comes true. (Though after thinking about it, it's not impossible that MBC staff has been lurking a bit on SNS to see what will excites viewers because we are also getting Taemin × TWICE, MAMAMOO x SEVENTEEN collab too).
  3. You should provide your source. A naver article I found seems to support OP: "같은 날 비슷한 시간대에 방송한 KBS 2TV '가요대축제'는 6.4%-6.0%-5.9%로 나타났다." Source TNMS is: 11 KBS2 KBS가요대축제 <1부> KBS2 19:50:23 21:06:24 8.4 17 KBS2 KBS가요대축제 <2부> KBS2 21:15:14 22:18:11 6.9 20 KBS2 KBS가요대축제 <3부> KBS2 22:26:58 23:45:10 5.7 Source Edit: I checked Nielsen Korea website, the data you provide is for Seoul national area capital only while OP/mine is nationwide. P.S.: Sorry, I can be a bit particular with information sources/credibility.
  4. Oops I should have been clearer about it, the ones that are often mistaken as rapper are only Shownu, JB, and Baekho. Kihyun, Minhyun, and Youngjae are safe(?) from mis-identity lol. I think the gap would be fun to watch especially if they are singing soulful ballad, but I kinda want to see them dancing together too . I hope all of them will surprise and shook us and other viewers in a good way.
  5. Baekho has different workout routine every day, he focuses on one part of his body every day, and he adjusts the intensity according to how he's feeling. His chest on Mondays, back on Tuesdays, shoulders on Wednesday, arms on Thursday, and then from Friday, he repeats the sequence of chest, back, shoulders, and arms. Most of his workout for the past year has been focused on his upper body since he already has a thicker lower body courtesy of doing sports from a young age (Kumdo). 6. Anticipate at MBC Gayo Daejejeon Dec. 31 8:55PM KST!!! (Please do a safe, good, and fair job during the Gayo Daejejeon, MBC.)
  7. Baekho has blackbelt in Kumdo from practising it for 6-7 years when he was younger. He also learned Thaiboxing when he was young. I would also take Baekho for good sports brand advertisement
  8. “Marie Antoinette” is a musical starring NU’EST’s Minhyun and VIXX’s Leo that premiered this year August 24. The musical records the largest number of returning audience among all the musicals this year. Over the three-month period the musical ran for, an individual holds the record for having watched the musical 78 times. There are also 7,609 individuals who have watched the musical for more than once, meaning the average times an audience have watched the musical is 2.9 times. The casting of idols seem to have a caused this impact. This is Minhyun's musical debut, while Leo has debuted as a musical actor back in 2014. Source: (Daum);(Allkpop)
  9. It's good that insurance most likely cover the cost. However, we don't know how far the insurance really covers because the most important and often more expensive part is getting the first-class rehabilitation afterwards. Yes I agree that stricter safety guidelines and stricter and more consistent safety enforcement are something that still need to be work on in Korea like many other countries, I've read about injuries and death involving staff during movie and drama filming in recent years which are really concerning. I do hope that this incident will hopefully trigger the government and the general public to do something more concrete fast. In the mean time, if fans noticed anything concerning we should work together to make them be noticed and taken care of before bad things happened. Sorry but the cost of the treatment and recovery is still something that are important in my opinion because there are first-class treatment that can help Wendy to recover and rehabilitate better and those are generally not cheap and I can't be sure if it is something that her insurance will cover also. In my opinion, the better the treatment she can get, the more likely that she can recover stronger and the less likely it will affect her work skills and future career path. I hope SBS, SM, and her family, friends, and fans can continue to be by Wendy side as she goes through the process of recovery.
  10. From the statement, it seems SBS is taking full responsibility for their wrongdoings. My main concern right now is the long-term medical cost as this probably will affect Wendy's condition for a long time. Although Wendy comes from a quite wealthy family and is under contract with SM Entertainment but SBS still needs to be responsible throughout her recovery and therapy. SBS's (and other TV stations') executives, staff, entertainment agencies, idols, and fans also need to continue be vigilant to make sure similar incident will not happen again. I wish a good and fast recovery to Wendy.
  11. Congrats to Golden Child and Goldenness!!! The first one usually is the most emotional too. Wishing this will be the first of many.
  12. NU'EST's Ren donates all the proceeds for storybook "We Are Happy Because We Are Together" he created for his fanclub L.O.Λ.E. "We Are Happy Because We AreTogether" is a sequel to "Find The Heart", which was released on his birthday in 2018. This is a meaningful decision as the storybook was first published to convey heartwarming moments and small smiles to his fans. The storybook that was on sale on Ren's birthday, November 3 for 1,103KRW ($0.95USD) received overwhelming response and quickly sold out. 13. From the stage: LOVEs' fanchants in action: Thank you K-LOVEs attending for the loud and beautiful fanchants/cheerings!!!!!
  14. JR’s act of charity has come to light! On December 24, it was revealed that NU’EST’s JR previously made a donation of 20 million won (approximately $17,200) in development funds for students at his alma mater, Gangneung Elementary School, last month. A source from Pledis Entertainment stated, “JR quietly made the donation in hopes of providing help to his alma mater.” JR’s donation will be used to support student welfare and student council activities. Meanwhile, NU’EST will be performing at SBS Gayo Daejeon on December 25, KBS Song Festival on December 27, and 2019 MBC Gayo Daejejun on December 31. JR and GOT7’s Jackson will also be showcasing a powerful performance together during the SBS Gayo Daejeon. Source (Naver)(Soompi)
  15. This is probably the thinnest we've seen him in years. He looks good but personally I hope he'll gained a bit of the weight he lost after this.
  16. NU'EST's Baekho wins 'Hot Issue Entertainer' at '2019 KBS Entertainment Awards'! 'KBS Entertainment Awards' is a year-end award show of KBS to honor and celebrate some of the years' finest TV shows and celebrities. This year, 'The Return of Superman' took Daesang, the grand prize. Baekho won Hot Issue Entertainer along with F.T. Island's Minhwan, personal trainer Yang Chi Seung, and trot singer Cho Myung Sub. Congratulations to all the winners! (Source) “Let’s Go, Man Soo Ro” team also won 2019 KBS Entertainment Awards' Best Challenge Award alongside “Problem Child in House” team (source).
  17. Good job on the persistence and diligence on exercising and controlling your food intake Baekho.
  18. I am okay with the prosecutors not announcing the winners according to the votes in the final but I think the prosecutors should at least inform the trainees that won but were unfairly rigged out so that they can pursue fair compensation from MNet or other relevant parties. Because if this didn't happen sorry but I feel pity to the trainees that won but unfairly were rigged out. For the male trainees that are predicted to be rigged out at least they still have a good career afterwards but for the female trainees their career projections are severely thwarted by the incident. Even if the existing groups that debut from Produce disbanded now, the members would still be able to build a good career because they have build a good fanbase but for the trainees that won but were unfairly rigged out where are the justice for them?
  19. Is this how far most OHers has fallen? To believe an article from allkpop with no evidences in it. To clarify because some just believe everything they read on the internet and seems to glee with baseless controversy: NU'EST fans don't even know about the controversy with Bae Jinyoung's "date"(?). We don't care if Minhyun is mentioned in relation with that since it seems to be a small thing. All we know is that last night NU'EST and CIX appeared together in a concert in Thailand and Jinyoung and Minhyun interacted happily on stage during the ending/farewell session.
