Why not Chaeryong if that's the issue though... Mako's audition clip also showed some main dancer caliber dancing, and Yeji is supposedly also at that level according to showcase trainees.

 

They might have an issue with main vocal if Lily happens to go solo or leave though. The vocal trio at the last showcase was Lily, Natty and Sunmin and Sunmin's reviews were just ok.

I honestly think they're at the lineup is somewhat finalized and they just need one or 2 more members to fulfill a role the others can't

I assume JYP is looking for a main dancer. JYP considers Min and Momo important additions to their respective groups so I could see them looking for one

 

Somi has expressed her being a fan of 2ne1 and BlackPink, plus I heard she likes girl crush concepts. I could see this group fitting girl crush/hip hop

I really want JYP will debut a not-so-big gg, 7 members is a good number. Nowaday so many groups w tons of members that i find it hard to rmb all of them, and ofc it's getting boring. But since JYP has so many pretty trainees, i don't want them to debut a small group w like 4 members, that's a waste 

 

And i don't think new trainees will become leader even if they're the oldest. Aren't all leader in JYP's groups are the one who train the longest, not the oldest. And in my opinion the line up are pretty much fixed, they're only goin' to add 1 or 2 member siupposed to be a main vocal and a dancer !

Yeah the lineup looks finalized so my guess is they're mainly using this to find a member that would offer something the other girls lack in

Hope Koreans pick 13, or no less than 9. I don't want the huge idol trend that Knetz say they're annoyed with to lead to 5

Tbh I feel like JYP kinda has a set lineup as it is and is using these auditions to find some extra additions

Here are the two covers Snowbaby posted on her youtube, as well as a CF and links to her actual youtube for those of you interested in watching her vids. Not main vocal material imo, but definitely has a nice vocal tone! Very soft and sweet, I think she'd make a nice lead. Her voice reminds me a touch of Sunny's in tone and Jeon Somi's a little bit in range.
