I believe they do especially if you mentioned about there's little overlap with other groups - that means it should be easier for them to get a win. Pledis should aim in getting the most out of press and media coverage for the boys and it would not be a good idea to go against other tough competitors which includes digital monters. Getting a win in music shows also depends highly on the comeback date/week. Since Pledis is buddies buddies with CJ they will definitely not overlap with W1. Actually physical sales and digital charts are equally important. I would rather give more weight to digital charts now after monitoring digital charts everyday, because it's way harder to achieve a good digital charting if the song is not well accepted by the general public. The current fanbase is only enough to secure good charting during a couple of days of the music release. But if the general public doesn't stream - the rankings can quickly fall down. On the other hand, physical sales could consistently be increased with the amount of fansigns held. I am more optimistic during this comeback for the variety guest appearances. Because during the last come back sadly both KBS and MBC were on strike. In the past it seems Pledis has good connection with MBC and 17+Pristin always had opportunities to appear on Immortal Songs. The good news is that Pledis seem to have great ties with SBS now through JR and Mingyu. JTBC should also help the boys out during this comeback. And of course having CJ as their distributor will help them get to appear on Mnet and tvN. I think the boys will aim for last week of March or early April comeback after their concert is done. The agencies are now monitoring each other and of course they are waiting see who will announce the dates of the comeback first and which date they will choose. This comeback as others said is harder since the trend from PD101 is all gone now - this will prove if their success can keep on continuing.

Gaon yearly chart is out W,HERE final sales are slightly lower than the last figure. Note that Gaon adjust their sales figures if there are returns - while Hanteo doesn't. A weird figure goes for Action in 2012 Hanteo sales which is quite larger than Gaon. There are some instances like this that happened to other artists also. Lol yes a lot of kloves started it saying it was a mismanagement bad marketing.....like...how..then ifans rode on the train and people panic about their chances of winning a bonsang and then it boils down to yeah now it messed up the achievement of the 200k first week sales....it is not reported the way the fans calculated! It is just a decision of having two separate barcodes for two versions of the album and that will just affect how Hanteo reports the numbers. I find it interesting (and confusing) that the kfans just started to complain about the barcode splitting - they should've known about this fact since the start unless they do not follow the Hanteo chart closely. If there were no two separate barcodes we wouldn't be able to know how each version sells (and knowing it on a realtime basis). Although I am not sure what are the other advantages to separating barcodes in Hanteo - there are other companies who did this too not only Pledis. The disadvantage is the sales are reported separately - it's harder to see the total sales if either version doesn't enter the Top 30 or Top 100. For example Pledis did two separate barcodes for both of Pristin's first and second mini album. For the first mini album in total they sold around 30k copies but you can't see the total sales for the yearly rankings since when separate into two different barcodes each version didn't enter the Top 100. You need to be a registered member of Hanteo 1.0 to be able to see the total cumulative sales. Second point is although the barcodes are separated in no way does this affect how award shows count the total sales/rankings since ALL music shows will count them all together anyway. And in case of Hanteo if they are counted separately, the boys wouldn't get their wins on music shows since splitting in two versions will of course be lesser than the competitor. MCountdown, Music Bank, and Show Champion uses sales from Hanteo the rest uses from gaon. Thirdly all year-end awards only uses the gaon chart not Hanteo. gaon reports sales for the all versions together - they do not separate barcodes. And from the nominations with the latest updated for November (December and gaon year end chart will not be announced until the very day of GDA on the 11th) they are ranked 6th. At least for W, HERE the sales shouldn't be far off since from the album weekly charts it looks like Pledis did not place a huge order for a restock. W,HERE entered the Top 100 for only one week in December and it was at #82 - should be less than 1,000 copies. The gap between the 6th and 7th place is also not close - they are pretty much guaranteed a bonsang unless something weird happens. And even in fan compiled first week sales statistics they counted both versions together anyway. And also on the bright side they should celebrate the fact that - NU'EST W are the first ever people/group/singer in Hanteo history to have BOTH versions hit 100k sales for an album that has separate barcodes within the first week .
