I had a very bad internet connection these days, so I couldn't write anything there about the comeback. I'm kinda late to party but anyways I want to write my opinion on the album PEEK-A-BOO: I didn't expect it to sound like this but I love the result a lot. I don't know a lot about the overall reaction on the album/title (if anyone has info, pls tell me, I'm really curious ;;) but as far as I know, int non-fans and fans like it. Even my non-kpop fan friends love it a lot, they said it sounds fresh, and I think thats the main point here. Peekaboo for me is a minimalistic song, but it was made so nicely that you don't get tired of it and want to come back to it, to find something new in it. I love how vocals work in it, and how nicely it has been formed. Like they used Rookie and Red Flavor formulas together to get this song. It has a very unique sound and I think thats the reason why some people don't like it, since it doesn't have familiar sound and has a bit weird feeling to it. Very stylish, interesting title track that has a lot of charms. LOOK: I thought it would be my favourite bside, since I really love disco vibes, its dreamy and mature. But verses didn't get me into the song as much as I wanted. Its worth appreciation I especially love how song goes in the end, I know I would listen to it a lot but i think i could get tired of it, since Look for me lacks something. I Just: First, I want to state that RV's songs about breakups are hidden gems. Despite the instrumental is very emotional and I feel how much emotions girls've put in their vocals to make I Just to sound amazingly powerful and painful at the same time. This track is really amazing for me. Girls pulled off the song's sound perfectly. Starting from Wendy's 'Its time to stop crying' and ending with their harmonisations in the end - these details are so nice and form a very beautiful song. Kingdom Come: I love RnB velvet so freaking much... I thought I've been listening to some 90s girl group, everything was on point, no wonder why Wendy loves this song...Strangely, but I cant say much about this track because I'm still shook because of how nice it is. My favourite bside on the album. My Second Date: The drop was nice, but not my cup of tea. anyway rap was strong and I loved how they tried to make their voices fit in that drop. Most unexpected sound for Red Velvet I've never thought about them having a track like this but not that surprisingly, they owned that instrumental. After this song I thought how really amazing and vertisile they are if they can sound amazingly in such experimental (for them) genres. I love groups that are not afraid of challenges. Attaboy: The rap parts in it were not for me and at first I didn't like this song, but after I found that vocals + rap blends together nicely in it and in the end I found myself jamming a lot to the chorus part. Also Wendy's and Seulgi's parts towards the end were something. I love how they made this track be owned by a rap line. Talks about fair distribution in the album since they give everyone their time to shine. Perfect 10 + About Love: For me these songs are showing the 'classic' velvet songs since they sound familiar already. They have an amazing quality but I wasn't extremely amazed by them. As always, great and already classic red velvet bsides. Moonlight Melody: I could've include this song in the previous mini list of 'classic velvet' tracks, but i just want to say that this one deserves a lot of love and attention. They sound differently in each ballad for me, thats why I appreciate this track a lot. With every ballad they bring you a new pack of emotions and that show how great they are as singers. I don't think that this song is unnecessary in the album. Its an amazing ending to that galore of wonderful and different music. This makes the album enjoyable to the very end. Overall opinion: This album really shows how great Red Velvet are. Each song is a color galore. Talent is overflowing in it, they've showed everyone how amazing velvet side could be, makes you fall in love with the group one more time. I love how they are talking about this album, how confident they are about it and how they want us to appreciate all the songs and love the music, not be afraid about chartings and other similar stuff. It definitely deserves many attention, but quality doesn't deserve fights and toxicity around it. Red Velvet did an amazing job, they've matured in terms of music (and peekaboo also has an enough mature side to it) and in terms of them being singers. With their opinion on the album I really want to call our girls very good artists.

btw, I've seen a lot of comments on Wendy being the only one wearing a plaid dress...idk, maybe theres really anything going on in terms of MV story but for me it seems like its just made for styling coordination to make girls look not that bland since they all are wearing red outfits
