  2. omg LOL. I don't think I've ever seen someone look so cool while doing it.
  3. Avex posted a video for "Nothing." It's very touching. With the interview (from above) in mind, I translated the lyrics (written by Momoko)
  4. I like Arashi, but I don't really want them to be the hosts of Kohaku.
  5. Yeah I'm sure most of the variety shows are scripted/fake but I still watch a lot lol that are interesting enough. Even if I know a lot of it is fake, it's still funny/interesting when insiders/former insiders reveal the truth behind shows lol.
  6. A lot of variety shows have been caught lying before but they still do it anyways. Like one time on one of Matsuko Deluxe's show they were introducing a keyboard cleaner (or something like that) and there was a before and after picture showing how clean the keyboard is because of the produce, but if you looked at the two picture, you can tell that they are two different keyboards lol. And I think the broadcast station said they can't admit anything or something like that. So when they introduce things, a lot of times they're just being paid for it.
  7. A former Fuji Tv announcer (Yutaka Hasegawa) even revealed that "All information programs (Like Zip, Mezamashi, etc.) are for stealth marketing" and he said "Movie companies and many entertainment agencies have business dinners with (our) staff where they are given money and that's how the staff decides most of the things that are going to be introduced. The programs never say bad things about the theme right? Of course, because they receive money so even if the movie is boring, you have to say it's interesting, and if you eat something you have to say it tastes good. Over half of the time it doesn't even taste good. But we have to say it. This is the same thing as the celebrity who's stealth marketing became a social issue. The information department that creates these information programs are different from the press department/bureau because they're not part of any journalist groups. For example even within Fuji, the information department is called by the derogatory term 'Wide-san' by the press department. So when the information department wants to use press videos, we have to ask for permission and even bow to them (basically beg) it's such an idiotic system. We're both part of the same company (Fuji). But even if we receive videos from them, there's no way we can make it last for 1-2 hours so we have no choice but to use stealth marketing to make it last (that long)" And different stations (including NHK) often use the same actors/actresses for these programs: Looking back at all these I don't know why I was so surprised by the music station one.
  8. I like "regular" idols too but I prefer alternative idols. These girls especially have such great music and their interviews are interesting to read as well. They often write lyrics and even that's interesting. Ling Ling wrote about C-ute's concert on her twitter a month ago but I didn't know she was such a big fan until reading the interview. Click here to view the Tweet (I went to °C-ute's disbandment live. An ending is sad but because it's the end they were shining so bright. Even if it's the end, they will continue to live on, being surrounded by many people, it's so cool and I'm proud. Arigato-Thank you very much (she wrote the English word for thank you very much in Japanese) for your hard work during the 15 years) I'm also worried about her screaming a lot but judging by their recent lives, she seems to be improving so maybe for now it's okay. And thank you, this scene of the mv was so shocking to me that the first time I watched it, I gasped and was frozen for a few seconds lol.
  9. Seriously though. There's a lot lies on shows, not just interviews, and it's always funny when people point it out on twitter. Like recently there was a show that was talking about ghost pictures and someone found the original picture for one of them and there were no ghosts in the picture lol.
  10. I mean I had a feeling they look for fans of the guests on purpose but I didn't think they would go as far as making the person lie.
  11. Click here to view the Tweet Translation: "It's about time I tell the truth! When I was interviewed by Music Station, I was asked, "Who is the artist you received influence from?", I answered "Shokotan (Nakagawa Shoko)!" and then they said "I'm going to retake it so say 'Kyary Pamyu Pamyu'" and I had to retake it lol. And that's the one that aired lol" I guess music station's interviews can't be trusted either.
  12. Seems like their Makuhari live was a success. I'm amazed how Ling Ling can scream like that and then go right into singing lol.
  13. Yeah my favorite album is still "FIGHT" and second is "Juke Box" so maybe third for now. A: Stream as many songs as you can.
  14. Congrats to them! I listened to it and loved it.
  15. I didn't really know her so I had to look her up but on her official blog, twitter, and instagram she wrote "Seiyuu/Artist". And recently she was on the cover of a magazine/book(?) and there was a part where a few idols were gathered to talk about her and the magazine introduced her as "Ogura Yui, who is more idol-like than idols" so I guess she prefers not being called an idol.
