  1. I actually really like the song. And yes, thank goodness they got rid of the robes. The PV is simple but nice too. Edit: Wow they have the full team working on this lol. This song is written by JxSxK (Watanabe), produced by Matsukuma, choreography is done by Aina, and the director of video is Ohkita Masaki (the director of "My landscape" and "Orchestra"). JxSxK wrote about the anticipation and worries about setting out on a journey. Aina's comment about the choreography: "This time the theme was 'anthropoids'. EMPiRE had a high degree of attention even before they revealed their faces, they had a choreographer from the beginning, and had a lot of followers before debut, and I thought they must feel a lot of pressure, so after talking with my members, I thought "EMPiRE are anthropoids that aren't able to become human yet. If you work hard, akarui mirai (bright future) will be awaiting you guys, so don't rush and slowly grow into a human", so I expressed the process of becoming human. EMPiRE-chan, your dance has to be more monkey-like (laugh).
  2. Also Momoko's interview! After I translated I was planning on proofreading it more typos and grammatical errors or weird translations but I got really lazy so I will do that tomorrow lol. ──Are you busy lately? Momoko: We’re busy, but I’m still living. Ever since I joined BiSH, I’m always busy. In the beginning, I couldn’t do the choreography so I was busy with practice, and now I got used to it so I can remember the dances, and it’s fun too, but now we have more jobs. I’m constantly busy. ──How was Makuhari Messe? Momoko: Ever since it was decided, I felt overwhelmed. I was thinking, ‘What kind of life would be awaiting me if there was a deficit?’ or ‘Is it really okay for me to stand on Makuhari’s stage?’. My skin broke out like never before, and I became all pessimistic, thinking ‘Maybe it’s better if I wasn’t there’. Since there was a lot of work, we couldn’t practice that much, so I was worried the whole time not knowing what I should do. ──What was it like to actually stand on stage? Momoko: The show started with ‘Orchestra’, and there were so many people that I thought I was going to forget the setlist. But if I was scared, I wouldn’t be able to have fun and it would be bad, so I told myself that “Only fans are at this event†and was able to finish it. Mentally, I couldn’t keep up, but I kept thinking that I didn’t want to make mistakes. When we used the traverse stage, we were finally able to get closer to the audience so I think I was able to change my mind. ──Is there something that left an impression on you after Makuhari ended? Momoko: BiSH suddenly became close. I think it’s partially because we weren’t nervous anymore, and also because the six of us was able to finish Makuhari and through that experience we made promises, so I think we’ll be fine from now on as well. ──What’s fine? Momoko: Like since we were able to overcome Makuhari, we can overcome anything. I think everyone became more laidback. Personally, I felt like I need to work harder on my singing and dancing. I was able to find more improvement points for both. ──Allow me to ask about your new album. Who does the intense shouts for “SHARRâ€? Momoko: Mostly Ling Ling and Aina. “SHARR†is like Ling Ling’s compilation (laughs). ──“SHARR†as well, but I thought the shout during the background chorus for “ALLS†was the coolest! Momoko: Ling Ling’s harmonization right? It’s very Ling Ling-like and I think it’s really cool. ──You wrote the lyrics to “SHARRâ€. Momoko: When I heard the demo for “SHARRâ€, I liked the shout because it was cool, so I wrote the lyrics hoping it would get approved. I wrote the lyrics when BiSH was really busy and I was stressed out, after work, it was late and I was worn out but I went home riding the packed train, getting pushed, I thought, ‘Why is this happening to me’. Shout = releasing stress for me, so I wanted Aina and Ling Ling to shout. I thought I could say the things I normally couldn’t say through this song. It’s lyrics are just like a scribbled note though. ──How did you record this song? Momoko: After sending my unpolished lyrics to Watanabe-san, it was printed out without his edits, and he put me inside the recording booth saying, “Let me hear how you sing itâ€. I thought he would make adjustments so it would match the demo, but he left everything to me(laughs). ──So you created the lyrics with the sheet music in mind? Momoko: No, not at all (laughs). But fitting in the lyrics are really difficult and I couldn’t do it at all. Aina and Chittiii went into the recording booth, and after Chittiii and Matsukuma-san were discussing (the lyrics), I told Aina, “Sing it like thisâ€, and she sang it, and like that, we made it together. ──The lyrics to the 7th song, “JAM†is a bit different. I was really surprised by the phrase, “I don’t need to be number one, so I will give it to you. Even if I’m not standing above someone, I’m sure I will be able to shine†Momoko: I was able to write the lyrics without any issues because the rhythm and my feelings matched. As the BiSH member that was there from the beginning, I felt like I wouldn’t be able to become #1 no matter what. Aina and Chittiii are like the pillars of BiSH, and I felt like I was #3. And even if I feel like I want to get closer to them, I don’t feel the need to surpass them. ──I see. Momoko: There were time I thought, what am I able to do compared to others, but it’s tough if you think you want to be #1. It’s tough when we all have good points but we compare ourselves to others. So the words are aimed towards me as well. When the people around me are happy, I’m able to become happy as well, so rather than me becoming #1 and having someone else lower their rank, I realized that everyone would be happier if those who want to be #1 are #1. It’s also about BiSH. Before, the words “I want to become popular†would pop up in my lyrics, and we used to say “BiSH wants to become popularâ€, and that’s not a lie now as well, but after Makuhari, I think we started to think, “It’s best to do things we think is goodâ€. ──I feel like words like that will only come out with experience. It’s not something easy to say. Momoko: I’m happy to hear that, thank you very much. I think I was able to express my feelings the best in “JAMâ€. I like writing lyrics, but up until now, there was a part of me that felt like I was writing for BiSH. But “JAM†shows my true feelings or like like I spilled out what I really think, so it was like my humanity was being tested, so I’m curious what the audience’s response will be. But I also feel embarrassed as if people are seeing me in my undergarments. ──You wrote the lyrics to “BODiES†as well right? What kind of song is this? Momoko: In the station or intersections, where there are crowds, your body just moves without putting in effort. So the lyrics is about getting through the crowd with your own power to go to your destination. During BiSH’s indie days, we did whatever we wanted, but after we made or major label debut, and “Orchestra†and “Promise the Stars†spread across, we felt like we couldn’t mess it up. So these lyrics also has my wish that BiSH wouldn’t throw away our own colors. ──I see. If you guys remain vague, you guys will become standardized, and you didn’t want that? Momoko: That’s right. Like we’re happy that all these adults are helping us become popular, but there’s more to BiSH than that. For example Ling Ling shouts, we stick our middle fingers up during our choreographies, and we easily do things that other artists are unable to do, and I like that because that’s another side of BiSH. A BiSH that’s only clean is boring, but I don’t think that will happen. ──Do you have any goals currently? Momoko: Instead of “cuteâ€, I want to be “coolâ€. I want to leave the kid stage. ──(laughs) What do you mean? Momoko: I think a lot of people saw me as a ‘grandchild’ figure. But I’m already an adult, so instead of grandchild, I want to be seen as a woman. ──So you want to be a cool woman? Momoko: I think becoming an adult isn’t just about appearance but obtaining the things you want on your own. Not waiting for people to give it to you, but you transmit that message. Not just at work, but if I see someone who is able to do many things, I think they’re cool. I like being alone, but since I’m in the entertainment industry, I think I should work hard. I want to learn things from many people. ──How do you want BiSH to turn out? Momoko: Lately we’re told “BiSH became popular†but until people started telling us that, I thought BiSH was popular from the beginning (laughs). ──What!? You’re pretty confident (laughs). Momoko: Or rather I was an amateur who started working without experiencing being popular or not being popular, and we started off having over 4000 followers, and we’re here now with that same force, so I used to think we were constantly popular. And I thought our songs were always good as well. ──I see. So you didn’t have enough experience to compare. Momoko: But looking back at my past self, I think I wasn’t good. I was originally a pretty hopeless person, so I’m sure I wasn’t able to communicate properly back then. ──Yes (laughs). Momoko: That’s what I thought (laughs). Even back then, I thought I was able to speak properly, but it wasn’t like that at all, so I think realizing that was growth. If I can continue replacing my ‘bad self’ and continue growing, that would be great. I used to be so bad at singing and dancing to the extent that I didn’t even know I was bad, but now I can watch the videos and see what I’m doing different compared to the other members. I’m not able to see what’s around me. ──That’s growth! Momoko: I think BiSH’s aim is very high, so my battle is if I can mentally handle all that. I don’t feel weak when I’m standing on stage, but my private life isn’t glorious so once I go back and I think ‘I’m doing something like this…’ and since I’m pretty weak, so I become defeated. So I want to have a strong mental state that can handle all that. That’s my goal right now.
  3. Yeah I looked through some comments on GC and a lot of people were pissed off because they thought it was insensitive when they know what KAT-TUN and NEWS went through. Also there were rumors about Nakajima and Yamada being on bad terms and rumors about bullying going on in the group so they think it was all scripted to boost their image, which I'm pretty sure it was lol.
  4. That interview of Momoko you posted up is pretty interesting so I will translate it later this week (hopefully). Just a preview, "During BiSH's indie days, we did almost whatever we wanted, but after our major debut, songs like 'Orchestra' and 'Promise the Stars' spread across, so we started to feel like we can't mess it up. But (in the song BODiES) I wrote about how BiSH can't throw away our own colors" and a little after that, she says "Lately we're told 'BiSH became popular' but until people started telling us that, I thought BiSH was popular from the beginning (laughs)" lol.
  5. Songs that the members wrote the lyrics to: Aina ⇒ ALLS Ayuni ⇒ spare of despair Chittiii ⇒ Rock n' Roll no Kami-sama Hashiyasume ⇒ Pearl Ling Ling⇒ Here's looking at you, kid. Momoko ⇒ SHARR, JAM, and BODiES The performance is great as always. Especially impressed by Chittiii though. The tweet says "Since it was their first time performing (this song?) on TV, they were very nervous... But once they stared singing, you really get sucked into the performance. By the way, the choreography for the new song they performed, 'My landscape' was done by all members. The theme is 'Wildcat giving birth " LOL why am I not surprised by such a strange theme? It kind of (?) makes sense since the lyrics starts off with "Yowane bakari sono yamaneko" (That wildcat is always complaining). I'll try to translate the whole song but some parts are kind of confusing, like which parts of the sentences connect or what the subject is. And I'm liking the playstation song lol. Never thought I can hear Aina rap the words "May the force be with you".
  6. I think it's this theqoo? It has close to 3000 comments lol.
  7. BiSH will be appearing on Music Station next week. Click here to view the Tweet
  8. Wow the 1st and 2ns place get to debut solo... I will be excited if it was a member of BiSH. But no matter who wins I know I will end up checking it out lol.
  9. Okusama wa Toriatsukai Chuui is so good. My favorite drama this season. Also watching Juyou Sankounin Tantei.
  10. I just looked it up but it seems like it depends. Some of Chittiii's tweets are saying that she's waiting for their make-up artist to put make-up on her but there was one recent tweet saying she forgot her eye make-up so she had a very natural look while filming/photoshoot. And Momoko was talking about how she asked their make-up artist to do her make-up in a certain way. And one of Aina's tweets were talking about the makeup she used during lives.
  11. It sounds a little like Tsukema Tsukeru. (~0:23)
  12. Yeah I like Ling Ling's hair much better now. It seems like she likes it too. She said she made an appointment 1 hour before she went but it turned out exactly the way she pictured it. I'm not really liking her (somewhat) recent eyebrows though. It doesn't look bad but I liked her old eyebrow make up better.
  13. Yeah it's interesting because they're all wearing the same outfits but there are small tweaks like the lengths of their skirts and now they might have their own colors. And thank you for taking over the thread
  14. Do you think the colors that came up in the PV are their official colors? Aina ⇒ Red Ayuni ⇒ White Chittiii ⇒ Blue Hashiyasume ⇒ Purple Ling Ling ⇒ Pink Momoko ⇒ Yellow
  15. They had a (surprise?) live, "BiSHOSAKADRiFTiNG" at Osaka. It's on a boat on top of the famous Dotonbori. Aina said this was the most contemporary dance she has choreographed and she pulled out all kinds of moves she had stored in. And lol the moment Ayuni finished her part, the crows is like "Wow..." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X924BQM1bQI
  16. This is so exciting! I've been buying the mp3s but this time I might buy the physical CD lol.
  17. omg new PV Completely different from GiANT KiLLERS but still great. It's their first time shooting their PV overseas. Amazed by Ayuni.
  18. omg I'm so excited for this. I can't find much info on them either. All I was able to find is that they first had their faces covered except their eyes and they announced that they would reveal their faces when their followers reach 10k but YU-Ki EMPIRE's followers grew unnaturally fast and they found out fans were buying followers or something so even if they reached 10k followers, they didn't reveal their faces until 9/28. I found their profiles but it's not official so I don't know if it's a trustworthy source. I will translate it when I find an interview or something with more info. All the members are so pretty... Edit: They're going to have a unveiling/introduction live on 11/23 so maybe more info will start coming out then.
  19. Oh I saw this. He (they?) said they were having trouble getting rid of it or something lol.
