this album was definitely worth the wait, been stuck on repeat for me since release, and i'd rate the tracks like this: 1. Trigger - absolutely the best choice for intro track, it's hypnotic 2. Agree / Rocket - the flow in both (and the beat) are top-notch 3. Fiance - the beat is addictive and i loved what they did with auto-tune (the vocal effects on the album overall are SO GOOD. YG employs really good sound engineers) 4. Bow-wow - the contrast in their flows, the intense beat, and the hook is so catchy 5. Hope - LOVED THE LYRICS LMAO 6. Alarm / Um... - also the best choice for the outro and Um... gives a nice soothing feeling 7. Lonely - a nice track on all counts 8. O2 / Her / Aurora - these three stick out for me and not in a good way, tbh, couldn't get into either of them, although Aurora will probably grow on me given some time all in all, this is a fantastic debut album, he did well.

well, that's a shame, since dean&zico were rather weak this season and nucksal is way better than hangzoo, but also completely unsurprising, tbh.

dean's track is just that - dean's track, imo. feels like it wasn't written to have either killagramz on it or whoever else. the beat seems weak to me, and like someone already said the only catchy part is dean's hook. if i heard it on his album - fine, okay, but i don't watch smtm for producer's solo stuff. and the live was, frankly speaking, a mess. you'd think zico was the participant they needed to highlight. dd's track isn't as solid as the previous one, but the stage execution, the way it revolved around hanhae, and the overall impression is much better.

[+163, -16] Well, try acting if you want but... tbh, that whole comment is me af, i sorely need him to release something closer to his preferred music style. he's got such a versatile, easy on the ear flow and his lyrics are always on point when he works outside of winner, i'd hate for all of that to go to waste. code kunst was right when he spoke about minho in that album making video. and i'm absolutely not sold on this acting ambition, nope.

The Chaser and Be Mine are the first that come to mind. I don't remember the name of the respective albums, but probably the first two? If you check out their discography, I'm sure you'll find it. Those were really great.

I*finite had the most distinctive elements of disco fused with pop for a while, and then they changed the team of writers, pity that.

i didn't feel the live performances at all tbh, each one was a bit too messy, and the beat samples had me excited for dd and zico&dean more than anything, but jesus christ, now that i've listened to the studio versions, all i gotta say is tiger jk & bizzy track is so. freaking. solid. the most solid, imo, in terms of team sound? like, i can hear zico's flow style all over his track and none of the actual featured artists, and dd is good, lit, yes, but chopsticks is so damn cohesive, would've never thought all these people are doing it together for the first time. definitely looking forward to the rest of the season.

tbh, considering the official press-release for O*E's debut, i wonder if he's even gonna rap. or, like, mainly rap. they name-dropped Se7en among other weird things, and his styling doesn't speak "rapper" to me, in some pics he's like a ballad singer and a japanese host, like, i swear, i had the same photo in that one books abt host-clubs. but yeah, that could've been the last straw for WINNER and ICs.

Reggaeton for summer bop would be AMAZING And he did say something abt letting the rappers shine on the next single, so. PLZ, PLZ, PLZ.

oh man, I wonder if their segments are all separate or not. if not, I can't wait for Block B & Mino interaction. P.O. & Zico never let me down
