  1. lack of time and dedication goes hand in hand tbh... when i was younger i was way more into kpop but it's too draining. you have to be so incredibly invested emotionally and i'm old: i need my 8 hours and excessive skin moisturiser. can't get into keyboard wars.
  2. i recently discovered this group through 'Predawn', and idek what to say except this is everything i've ever wanted from pop. days of anticipating better are over i've been born again thank you.
  3. yes! i feel like they'd kill something with a bit of that electro-heavy bass feel to it, something dance worthy where their choreo skills could really shine BUT still showcases their vocals. like Tokyo Girls' Style 'Predawn' feel maybe? nah i agree, they'll probably not do much with their hair. i think Source has a very clear plan for their image in mind and the hair is an important indicator of their development. might just be me but hair is so symbolic in kpop..
  4. it's my favourite. i love her voice, she has an exceptional control of it, and the song really showcased her range.
  5. i'm sure there's already been a convo about this but what kind of concept do you think they'll do next? any big changes (hair etc) that could possibly happen? ummm by the by is the next comeback far away because the wait is.. is..
  6. they keep serving that professionalism. glad they're ok and didn't slip tho
  7. idk if that'll keep being the case. as a former fan of AKB48 (still a casual fan just not as vested after Acchan graduated), i feel like Nogizaka46 manages to successfully rival them, which to me has more to do with the former's output lately than the overall group. in that sense Nogizaka46 has a clear upper hand, with a fresher sound and often fresher concepts. at least that's what got me interested, and considering the quality of their music so far, it took me about a minute to stan. i think the groups will continue to rival each other, which is healthy, but i'm confident 46G will grow to make their own mark and eventually they'll just coexist. give it time tho, it might not have taken as long for AKB48 to build their profile, but that's because they were unrivalled in their heyday. 46G has something really special and unique to offer i think.
  8. another day without a Gfriend comeback.. I don't want to be greedy, but it's already one day too much! I miss them!
  9. not sure about the Umji ones, but I like the group ones! great work!
  10. random, but as an older kpop fan, I just have to say, Gfriend makes me so proud.. they haven't skated by on anything, to me they're the epitome of what an idol is supposed to be. can't wait for their next comeback.
  11. then at least their acting isn't cringe! i'll watch it when i have the time, if nothing else than for girls.
  12. i kinda like that they won't have one (if that's really the case). i feel like in bigger groups it becomes so important for each member to be able to showcase their abilities and uniqueness better and sometimes, not always tho, it's harder to switch up positions with a leader. but if they do appoint a leader, that'll be interesting.
  13. i love how shy yet excited she sounded! "we are FLOWER! from JAPAN!!" she's so infectious i can't
  14. UGH i can't wait!! they're quickly becoming one of my favourite acts, how is it possible to always be serving such quality i'm so ready!!!
  15. lmao *pats head* that'll do girls.. that'll do
