    I remember getting the impression very early on that she was exceptionally talented and charismatic. Like one of those people many would feel immediately intimidated by and drawn to at the same time. Every time she's on variety my first impression is solidified.

    OMG 'Pink Champagne' was a slice a real prime pop music... it's what really solidified me as a fan of E-girls. hit song + their level of performance bravado was just , next level. I hope they do more of that in the future. they really shine when they get to do that whole cool, glam concept with exuberant choreo and catchy lyrics. i personally never liked when they did bubble gum, not because i necessarily never like bubble gum, but rather bc it doesn't really suit them imo.

    ia, i think Yerin has a general public appeal that works with the broadest possible audience. she's funny and easy-going, all of them have their individual appeal but i can see why they would prioritise Yerin to promote them on variety. personally i love when they can be all together because their group dynamics is really something quite unique. but if they have to choose one to go alone i'd rather it's Yerin for now.

    are the complaints Reina specific, because of how Flower has been assembled since the depart of Chiharu and Kyoka? i know that some people thought that having one vocal was too much focus in Flower, and i guess i can understand that since i personally like the harmony of different vocals too (although i've never felt that Reina takes too much focus overall), but that's not even the case with E-girls..

    first time i saw Umji was in the clip from her (and SinB's) graduation day and i've gotta say, i was really surprised to hear later she got so much hate. i was sure she was the most popular member because of her obvious little sister charm. she was just so cute and giggly and shy.. i'll never understand how anyone can't find her adorable tbh.

    Somehow I'm not surprised. Personally I think I noticed SinB first but after that initial introduction they all stuck on me and that's when I first had this feeling that they all had *that* kind of impact or charisma, each in their own right. Now they're all of interchangeable importance to me but usually people are introduced to a group through one or two members, through a clip or a famous point move. Hopefully the people who know SinB and Umji look up the group and get hooked on the rest of the girls too, like me!

    It makes me so happy to see so many commenting on how much they appreciate the positive environment here. I'm also new to OH and finding this compared to some other threads (many Kpop forums are seriously next level neurotic) was a huge relief for me. This was what it used to largely be like back in the earlier aughts before social media became a war zone, at least from what I remember being an awkward 13-14 year old. Thank you all for being so great, welcoming and lighthearted.
