ugh i KNOW. i hope for WM's sake it's worth it. i really wish i was more into bg's than i am (i'm forever stuck in the 2008-2011 era - SJ and SHINee is where it's at!) so i have zero interest in yet another predictable formula churned out to cheat gullible 14-year olds out of their allowance with minimal effort/promotion... i just hope they do so so successfully that it trickles down to our girls. yooa is fabulous, i really admire her work ethic and dedication as an idol, which isn't just bc of the opportunities she's handed, but in her overall conduct as well. but at the same time i agree with you. i want the others to get some spotlight as well, bc i completely feel like they are all equipped for it. hyojung is my bias, but i honestly love them all. seunghee was MADE for adverts and hs events, that girl is a living meme with one of the most extraordinary faces i've ever seen. binnie is girl crush come to life, yet her approachability makes her ideal for a much broader audience. arin is.. well. she's just a visual sensation tbh. cuteness overload. mimi is all personality, and so contagious in her sprightliness. there's a sassiness to jiho that i really appreciate... i feel like she and i could hang. frankly i think that's how she comes off generally? like you want to be 'in' with her ! and jine is just the definition of sweetness. absolutely adorable. i miss her as the final piece to the puzzle. the views thing (a part from winning music shows) has gone too far. if i had a say they'd change the system completely to have only voting count although i know that would never happen bc they (the shows, the companies, the fans) feed off this pretend hype. it's honestly killed much of my interest for kpop in general but who cares right? we're the old garde anyways! *we've seen some reeeeeeal shit*

idk personally i'm not too worried - i've seen some truly mismanaged groups, and Gfriend doesn't seem like one of them. i trust that they'll release something amazing next. maybe they needed this last cb as an extreme to weigh against another extreme. in the end they'll choose something that balances the girl crush darkness of fingertip with the brightness and cheerful innocence of rough, mgt and navillera.
