You are the first one ever who ranks EG over Itzy as better dancers (google it and you'll see). And I find that interesting! I love Everglow (and Izone) too!

How would you rank them in different categories? Here's mine: Vocals: Blackpink > Gidle > Everglow > Itzy (BP has more rounded vocals so I chose them. Jennie is very stable and Rosé voice color is heaven) Best dancers: Itzy > Everglow > BP > Gidle (not sure about this one though. I suck at judging dance skills) Choreography: Itzy > Everglow > Gidle > BP (Bon Bon Chocolat has the best choreo but the rest sucks. Itzy overall has more Fun choreo. All their choreo have been amazing to watch) Visuals : Everglow > Blackpink > Gidle > Itzy (subjective. I find Everglow overall has more appealing visuals) Now, the most important one, Discography: easily Everglow > Blackpink > Gidle > Itzy. Blackpink has more songs I love, but their music is kinda going downhill since AIIYL. I find Gidle's music doesn't age well. I loved their songs at first but they quickly became boring. For Itzy, Wannabe is just so good that other songs feel inferior. I just hope they release Wannabe-quality songs next time. Meanwhile EG keeps releasing bops of bops and I have no complaint so far. I'm curious to read your comments because it's fun to see varied opinions out there.

It's really hard to choose because 2020 has too many bops. My ranking is: 5. Dumhdurum - Apink / La Di Da - Everglow 4. Girls - Nature 3. Wannabe - Itzy 2. So Bad - Stayc 1. Mago - Gfriend

To be honest I only like Wannabe. The rest is good but compared to Wannabe they are way worse. Wannabe is SOTY contender for me.

I'm confused that most people say EG has better vocals than Itzy, but they also say EG's vocals are mediocre. So Itzy is even worse?

I would say EG has better dancers as well but not by large margin. Of course thats just me lol

Who has better vocalists? Dancing skills? Music library so far? Visuals? And who do you like better, overall? For me: Vocals - Itzy. Dance: Everglow. Music: equal, but I lean toward Eg. Visuals: Eg. Members: Itzy. Overall, I would call it's a tie. Time will change my mind.

I've been listening to Kpop for 10 years but I can't always tell which group has good or bad vocals most of the time. Most groups nowadays use autotune in recordings and even on stage perf they have background singing to support their voices too. Of course I can tell who the main vocalist is, but for sub vocals, there's just not enough of their lines for me to fully judge them, unless they have their own solo song, and when they're singing live. It's astonishing to me that some people just listen to one song and claim that this group can't sing. In my opinion, most Kpop groups nowadays sing just fine or good enough, at least they're not that terrrrrible to my ears.

My friend listened to ONE of Everglow's songs and she said the vocals were so terrrrible that she stopped and refused to listen to other songs. She said they have to be good like Gfriend for her to listen to. Well I'm not an expert but as long as songs sound good to me it doesn't matter. I know Everglow isn't known to be a vocal powerhouse, but really they don't sound bad to the point I have to stop giving them a try.

I don't know if I'm a casual listener or not, but I follow my bias groups closely. I keep up with their new releases and make sure to watch most live performance videos. However, for the life of me I always have trouble when I try judging idols' vocals and how well they dance, even with my bias groups. My results always ended up way differently than people's. Of course most of the time I find main vocalists sound the best, but the rest of my rankings looks very odd compared to others'. It wouldn't be a big deal with "Visuals" because it's subjective, but dancing and singing capabilities are objective I guess? It bothers me to the point that I feel stupid and maybe I should quit kpop Ahhh sorry for this low effort post. But I'd like to see your opinions on this...

Yeah I agree lol. In the MV Isa and Seeun look so good but the cover images are trolling them. Bad angles, stylist and photo editors are the real culprits.

Yes, I like pretty much all Black Eyed Pilseung's songs. Dumhdurum, TT, Fancy,... Are are amazing songs.

I just found this group via their debut song "So Bad". The song quickly caught my attention because it's so catchy and feels nostalgic, like the 90s vibe. I immediately looked them up. I really like their visuals. All of them look good but I think my bias is Sumin. She has a calm, sexy and mature look imo. Overall I like this group. I will keep an eye on their releases. I can say So Bad and Mago are solid contenders for my personal SOTY.

My apology if I sound dumb. I've noticed that many groups when taking pictures or walking red carpet, they're always in a specific order. It makes sense that the leader is in the middle, but groups like (G)I-dle is very consistent with this rule. And it's even more interesting that Soyeon always always stands next to Yuqi, even when other members switch their position around. I wonder what kind of rule this is and why do they have to do this? I know this thing has been in Kpop for ages but I never put a thought in it until now.

What's your thoughts on this? I love RV and Irene. This was shocking to me.

I think it's a great track. Music-wise it's addictive as hell. I'm not a fan of the lyrics though.
