yup theyre differemt! here i found a gif sharpening tut that explains better: http://itsphotoshop.com/post/30880866031/how-to-sharpen-all-the-layers-of-a-gif-at-once remember to convert to timeline before making the layers a smart onject, if you do it the other way round the gif doesnt move~

awww hell nah, when you click play in the animation timeline does the gif still move? u sure its in timeline mode and not frame animation? (if its in frame animation youll still be able to see the imahe of each frame in the panel, in timeline it looks like a video and you dont see the individual frames)

yup 1 convert to timeline (this is in the animation panel) 2 select all layers 3 go up to the "filters" drop down and click "convert for smart filters" 4 go back to filters and click on sharpen 5 optional: if you want a specific sharpness go to smart sharpen and play around 6 look at thst crisp beauty

,oh that looks like its just part of the quality loss that comes with making a gif. with only 256 colours, its not possible to make a gif look exactly like the og video did. try making the gif smaller and maybe sharpening it for quality, and if its on diffusion put dither at 100 if you havent does that make a changeÉ

maybe its in the other settngs, like i know if ur saving and choose McIntosh the colours look weird. do you have an example gif?

maybe its in your saving settings if you see everything fine until the saving screen, do you hve it on 256 colours?

start from a high quality vid is the most importanr partthen its all in the psd those gifs look warm so im guessing maybe an orangey color filter and some levels, maybe a contrast and play with tge selective colors how do you make your gifs that arent coming out nice? are you using photoshop? YAAS SIS u did that!
