Wow.. this thread really is a safe haven for a Hak stan... I feel like tearing up reading positive posts here. I kind of admire you guys who still keep the positive mindset and can point out positive sides of him when many people believe that he is bad and blindly hate him. I've just checked twitter and Hak fans are in an uproar right now bc of a certain account tweeting really disgusting things abt him (& Sewoon). Lots of them feel so depressed seeing the hate he has been getting for weeks. They should just join this thread instead.

Seeing all these hate makes me realize that both love and hatred are surely blind. When you love or hate someone your heart just do some selective reading even though your mind is actually telling you that there are always two different sides in every situation.

For someone who has been searching for Hak's name in twitter since pre-show, it sure is a torture.. Everyday is filled with hatred there. They basically bash everything abt him. His talent, his look, his attitude, his pig farm.. and countless tweets asking what he has done to deserve such a high rank, who the hell vote for him, what is his appeal, etc. That pd 101 confession account is one of the worst. There are lots of hateful comments towards him there. Sometimes I feel frustrated reading those tweets, but sometimes they can be entertaining bc of how illogical and blind his haters can be. Idk I admit that I am the type of person who enjoys seeing drama, as long as it doesn't involve me ;____; but the hate train is just horrible. Makes me thinking abt what kind of people they are irl.. are they actually decent human being? Or are they as bad as their tweets?

Hey you don't need to feel sorry 😀 I understand that being a Hak stan is really hard right now bc we don't have many places where we can rant abt our fave. This thread was created exactly to become a place where you can share what you think and discuss with fellow Hak stan! If you don't pour your frustation somewhere and just pile it inside, then someday you might just explode bc this hate trend is not going anywhere soon. I'm sorry I have been quoting your post a lot. I have always likes reading your comments since the beginning of this thread. I also agree with you. Back then I always wonder why so and so are so popular bc I can't see their appeals. But now I've realized that it is such a stupid thought. Different people react differently to different appeals, so saying that you think so and so don't deserve the popularity just bc you don't get their appeals is seriously dumb. Afterall, it's a higly subjective matter. If you don't see his appeal then no one can make you understand his appeal. It just means that his appeal doesn't work for you. But it sure does work for a lot of other people.

I really hope so! See, I see him as a precious little brother. He seems to be such a kid to me. So I kind of get too worried abt everything 😂😂 Hard-work beats talents lots of times, so it's up to him to strive in proving himself! 😀

They always say that we should not hate on anyone, but I feel like they just keep silent and let people straightforwardly badmouthing him.

Oh no.. I don't think like that bc he has a lot of haters. I am just worried abt him being a slow learner. Boy needs some time to learn choreo, so I am scared that he will be too pressured if he can't really keep up with the practice if he ends up in the final group. Bc it is only a temporary group, the preparation time for each comeback might be shorter than other groups bc they will def want to squeeze as many comebacks as possible. I think I am just being too concerned over his mental health 😅 But if he can handle it and is mentally strong enough I will be more than happy to see him debut with the final group.

I really hope that people who dislike him censor his name or something when they are tweeting negatively abt him so that I won't get through the headache of reading all those ugly and illogical tweets whenever I search for his name in twitter... What a ride.. Never thought that he will get this much hate. At this point I will be okay if he doen't end up top 11. I do think that if debuting now puts too much pressure on him (being a slow learner that he is), then it might be better for him to debut a bit later to improve himself further. The only problem I have is that there is still no further news about Cre ker boygroup, so Idk for how long I will have to wait for him to debut with his company mates. I'm not saying that I don't want him in the final group. I just worry that the hectic schedule will be too much of a burden for him bc he will have to be able to keep up with the short preparation time. But if he is already committed to debut no matter what and can keep up without feeling too pressured then I will be happy to have him in the final group. Btw I have listened to Open it. It is much better than what I thought initially, but the autotune is way too heavy. I like Haknyeon's voval tone! Somehow it sounds so refreshing. It kind of stands out bc it's different from the overall heavy atmosphere of the song 😂😂

Ahh it has been a long time since I wrote in this thread. I actually lurks everyday in my phone, but I read that posting in OH using your phone is more difficult than in PC, so I was lazy to post anything. Now that I am finally using my laptop I want to post at least once before I go back to use my phone Btw, about the concept evaluation.. I'm really glad that he ended up in Open. I don't really know why though Maybe it's bc there's Yongguk in this team. Ever since I heard that some of their fans are voting for each other in the 2-pick, I have wanted them to show their closeness so that their fan union becomes stronger I don't particularly like Yongguk. I'm pretty neutral abt him. But I've always excited whenever I know Haknyeon is close with someone. Bc one thing that I like from him is that he is close to many trainees It just feels really nice knowing that he has a lot of friends in the show. I love knowing that he is well-liked there I also really like the fact that he is always grouped with different trainees in every evaluation That way I can see his interactions with different people. From some fan-accounts he seems to get closer with Dongho Maybe it's bc of their Jeju pride And I'm also glad he ended up in Open bc that way he could show a different side of him. So far people know him mostly for his cheerful and cute personality, so by doing this concept he can at least show that he is more than just a cute guy I've always liked his serious expressions since ep 1 (I found him to be really charming when he is all serious when practicing), so I think (and hope) that he could show his best expressions in this perf. I just hope that after this perf people won't sexualize him

I think she is not Korean but she knows Korean and it looks like she is pretty active in k-fandom so she more or less knows a lot about the situation in k-fandom. I asked her opinion about how Haknyeon will fare in the one-pick voting, and she said that she honestly couldn't make an accurate prediction. She did say that she thought he might drop because he might seem to be a part of some clique votes. But she then added that Haknyeon's k-fandom sometimes surprised her. She said that his fans can get really quiet at times but the moment an article/post related to him is published they kind of come out of nowhere to upvote the article I honestly also feel the same about Haknyeon's k-fandom. Many people predicted in every episode that he will drop out of top 11, but his fandom proved them wrong It's really hard to gauge just how big his fandom actually is. Edit: I forgot to add that she is also a Haknyeon fan!

Somehow today this thread becomes really active and lively I guess it's because of the drama and the fact that the MT feels uncomfortable for Haknyeon fans... I always want to laugh whenever someone said that Haknyeon does not deserve his ranking because he did literally nothing. Umm.. that's why his fans are demanding Mnet to give him more screentime. How do you know that he did nothing when he hasn't been shown much in the first place?

But I really like reading discussions (that's why I lurks on OH practically everytime I am not asleep ) so I still read them. However I don't have any plan to post there just because it looks like a scary place for a Haknyeon fan like me And I also want to comment on your post. At first I was really skeptical about the probability that Mnet really doesn't want him in the final line up. But after watching eps 6... The conspiration theory might hold some kind of truths lmao

I have been a silent reader since pre-show era, and this is my favorite thread (altho I'm sad that sometimes this thread is pretty much dead). I also lurks in the main thread daily. Uhh.. about the current mess we are in right now.. Seeing that after ep 7 everyone left their rants here, I also want to join the rant fest I hope I did the spoiler thing right.
