I love love love the FILA photoshoot. I love the concept and the old-school vibe it has. The styling reminds me of old boybands like n'sync lol. And I'm happy that they got to collab with FILA. And isn't this their third photoshoot with DAZED?

 

Btw they're nominated for rookie award on Gaon Awards. It's amazing. They most likely won't win bc there's w1 (and JBJ), but getting nominated in less than two months since debut is amazing lol. It's really nice that they still have another chance for rookie award, altho their chance to win is still kinda vague bc SK will debut soon. But so far so good!

I would say that even tho tb win the online votes, their chance of winning is not that big as voting only takes like.. 10% of the total criteria. I saw someone saying that online music sites streaming holds 50% of the whole thing. We know that their streaming is weak (bg in general have really weak music streaming). It's not that I don't want them to win, but I have seen people accusing mnet of playing dirty with tb. I want people to just accept that if tb doesn't win, it's more bc their fandom isn't that strong yet (they're only one month old rookie afterall) and not completely blaming mnet. Blaming mnet will make it look like the fans don't want to accept their current fandom power. Tb is one of the hottest rookies rn, sure. But as big as fans want to believe, tb is still a really young group. It's completely understandable if tb couldn't get any music show win. They still have a long way to go, a lot more room to grow and improve.

My twitter acc is @staywithjoo but same as Moritania, I only use it to update on tb info so I only follow fansites, some news accs, and a few translators. I don't follow personal fan accs, altho some OH users follow me lol. I mostly retweet stuffs, I rarely tweet anything on my own. They still look pretty similar now, albeit only in some occasions. But still, the similarity is uncanny.

I finally got an idea about what to post here. So, up until now we know more of Haknyeon little by little. Among all those things, one of the most amusing things about him for me is how he managed to mention a lot of idols' names in different occasions. This results in him getting some attention from those idols' fans lol. This already happened for a couple of times, so I want to make a list on the fandoms that got interested in Haknyeon because of some things!

 

1.

The first one has been happening since months ago! It's about his resemblance to BTS Jin. So many fans and non-fans have said that Haknyeon and Jin look similar. The similarity is even more obvious in their child pics. As for me, when I first heard about this I didn't agree with it because I didn't find them to be similar. But then I saw the video of Haknyeon doing the center part of Hands on Me and I was so amazed because he really looked like Jin there. Then in some other occasions I also found him to look like Jin lol.

Their resemblance even fooled many Jin stans on twitter! I saw a tweet with quite a lot of RTs from an ARMY with pics of Jin and Haknyeon back then. I saw some tweets saying that a lot of Jin stans also stan Haknyeon (it's so cute lol). Even my real-life friend, who is a Jin stan, didn't realize that a Haknyeon's child pic was mistakenly put together with Jin's child pics lol

 

2.

The second one is about pentagon and seventeen! So in a fansign a fan asked Haknyeon about what genre of music he wants to write, so he answered that he wants to write EDM song while mentioning Hui and Woozi as the producers that he likes/wants to collaborate with. Ah and it seems like Haknyeon and Seungkwan know each other!

 

3.

Next is about Wanna One! This one is pretty much expected as Haknyeon was in produce 101 season 2. Altho mnet made him look like a lone wolf (didn't have any friend), he was actually close with many trainees there. I think he's the closest with the F guys, but he's also close with other trainees too. In a fansign he was asked who he was the closest in among the 99-line in broduce, and he answered Jihoon and Woojin. He also mentioned Jihoon when he was explaining about how he knew about the meaning of his nickname "hakking". Another one! Jisung actually congratulated Haknyeon on his debut~

Oh and I have been seeing a lot of korean wannables supporting him on twitter even before tb debuted. He was indeed one of the picks of many k-fans back then.

 

4.

This one is about NUEST! Many people love Haknyeon's interaction with Baekho in Open Up. Baekho was so kind to Haknyeon as he became his singing mentor and motivator. In a recent fansign Haknyeon mentioned Baekho's name out of nowhere haha. I spent ages to find this tweet

 

5.

The most recent one is about Haknyeon liking SNSD. His SNSD bias is YoonA!  YoonA wasn't even included as an option in the post-it but he wrote her name himself lol. I saw A LOT of sones saying that he's cute for writing YoonA's name himself. This fanacc is shared by some YoonA's fanpages on twitter too.

 

I don't know if there are some other things that I missed. It's cute and funny how Haknyeon received love from other fandoms like this

i think you guys should stop worrying about his status, haknyeon is not just an individual member from creker anymore. He is a part of THE BOYZ, a 12 member group now. I think it's important that their fandoms are spread out instead of having akgaes that overpowers another member's fans, unless you want the fandom to be toxic, although this fandom be finna full of snakes already smh. My other bias group has a lot of akgaes and maknae line stans and tbh, even their fandom on twitter is a MESS. Haknyeon stans still loves him even if they decides to bias another, but then again their bias list won't be stable with a 12 member group but haknyeon so far is still the most popular + he is still snatching new fans as well. And well, the haters are haters. We can't do anything about that after Mnet's ass of a work. Its only time until he snatches them bald.

 

As for me, I don't even care about his popularity among the boyz anymore, all I know is i want the boyz to hit BIG as a group. I am a COMPLETE OT12 stan, i love everyone.

 

There's nothing wrong with supporting hak individually tho, just don't start side eyeing the people that starts to like other members.

The main group threads are always more active than individual members threads, just like any other groups, that's why this thread is less active than before still more active than all the member's individual threads combined tho. Doesn't mean that people aren't reading what is posted here, hence he still has 60 followers for this thread (when i first joined it was like 69 followers, i only assume some people stopped following Hak since produce is over and they don't follow the boyz too) , + it's easier to post as a group.

I guess it's bc I don't really believe in creker to give Haknyeon the fair spotlight. And what I talked abt mostly happened among i-fans. I don't speak Korean so idk what happened in k-fandom. I-fans tend to change biases quickly.

I understand why some Haknyeon fans worry about his status in the group, you see more and more new fans stanning other members but not him. I even saw a Hak fan following him since Broduce blatantly proclaimed Eric as her new bias on twitter. I actually saw this coming when they have 12 members and they all have their unique charms. He may have fewer ifans compared to others but his fanbase in korea is pretty solid. If you see their MR Removed vid, many fans actually praised Hak for his stable voice and hard work. I am confident that he will gain some new fans as time goes by.

 

Visually, the Bermuda triangle has been discussed a lot among the fandom, and Younghoon is considered the most handsome in the group while Haknyeon is more of a refreshing type cute boy. I saw some haters say Hak's visual is the worst out of the 12, I don't even bother to retort since their opinions are apparently biased af. Beauty is still subjective in the eyes of beholders, I admit YH is handsome but he isn't really my type. I'm more into the maknae line - Hak, Hwall and Sunwoo, even New, Kevin and Juyeon are pretty fine to me.

I actually saw at least three hardcore Hak stans on twitter changing their tb bias to other members haha.

About the visual part, I completely agree that it's not something we can debate bc it's really subjective. From what I've seen it seems that creker also push the bermuda line as the visual line (by putting them next to each other in some events). They're not only handsome but also tall, so I understand why they're considered as the visual-line (afaik in Korea the preferred visuals tend to be tall). Altho for me I still find Haknyeon the most handsome lol. His visual is just my type. He looks cute bc he smiles a lot (the most refreshing smile to me) and has fluffy cheeks, but imo his visual is actually pretty masculine. I really love it when he looks manly haha. And many people agreed that he was one of the top visuals on broduce.

I doubt he gonna lost his popularity soon I mean mostly tbz stans who don't biased him but liked other members instead is mostly international fans,well it's normal don't get me wrong I love all members it's way too hard to surpassed haknyeon popularity I mean a lot of other members lost their fansites but I never seen haknyeon fansites went close or rest(correct if I'm mistaken)liked when the performance he was get the most scream from fans so his individual Stan is too strong even his fansign pic got the most reblogged one and about creker thing we all know creker is bad company and haknyeon definitely not members that they want to pushed it's obviously other member it's already showed all song in their debut album when he got the least or second least.

 

Another thing I don't get mentality that you hate haknyeon but you want support tbz liked why??its ok if all of them don't biased him but hating him and say this groups is all about haknyeon and friends??really??not when he got lack of line and screentime in their video. when haknyeon is part of reason the boyz got a lot attention at first place. honestly it's frustrating to see people try putting him down his talent,looks and his popularity ;(;(;( and it's amazing to see haknyeon fans who still with him from beginning;);) other 11 members is full of charms,talent but I will never swerve to other members,it's just haknyeon has deep,personal connection with me if you stan him from 3/9 you know what it's mean;););)

Well for his antis.. if they still want to stan tb while hating on Haknyeon, it would be their loss anyway. I doubt tb fans will let them fangirling in peace if they know they are Haknyeon antis lol.

Oh btw abt the fansite resting part... Actually I think today is the first time I see his FS resting. The name of the fs is ju_pigboy. It's one of his earliest FS from broduce era. This fs is pretty loyal. The masternim didn't really take pics from every single tb event but she was still pretty active on twitter. I'm sad that she decided to go on rest bc she has been supporting Hak since the beginning. Anyway, altho afaik it's his first FS that explicitly said REST, there are many FS which never said REST but just stopped tweeting anything lol. Basically their accs have been dead for a long time. Most of them are from broduce era like upgrade and juicy. I saw a lot of new FS which posted pics from only one event then never posted anything ever again lol. So if we only count his active FS, the total number is only like.. half or even a third of the number people wrote on twitter. People usually count both his active and inactive FS (basically the ones which only posted once then went MIA haha) and personal Hak's fan twitter accs which sometimes posted his pics (just of the events which they came to). That's why people raved abt the number of his FS being more than a hundred lol. But then again I understand why so many FS only existed for a really short time. Running a fansite demands a lot of time and money and sacrifices.

Yeah, but I forget how many years he lived there. He usually said he's from LA tho lolol. About Haknyeon, his mother wanted him to learn many languages, so he was enrolled to some language academies haha.

Yes the group has 3 members in the foreign-line. Kevin and Jacob from Canada and Eric who lived for a few years in Irvine. Hwall lived for a while in Philippines so he could talk and understand English altho I think he's not fluent. Haknyeon can talk and understand simple English bc he has talked in English with some i-fans on fansigns. Actually I think the only members who don't know English are Kyu and Hyunjae. They usually got flustered if you asked them to talk in English lol.

Lol this is the first time someone called us "boyzers". People usually use the fanz or the stanz to call the fandom but that's bc we don't have an official fandom name yet.

 

And to answer your question.. Yes! It's not super active, but I think we post here almost everyday.

 

Btw it turned out that their music show promotion hasn't ended yet (that's what New said sometime ago). He said next week we'll still see them promoting.

I hate that show tbh. The filming takes tons of time, literally from early morning to really late at night. Not to mention many idols were injured in the show.

It seems that they already wrapped up their music show promotions for this debut era. They still have a few fansigns left tho. So... when do you guys think their comeback will be? Afaik rookie groups from small companies tend to do a lot of comebacks in a year to build their fandom faster  I have heard some people predicting a January comeback.

Oh... and btw they haven't come to weekly idol yet lol. I wonder if they will guest there for their comeback. I also wonder if they will participate in that idol athletic championship show.

Sunwoo said somewhere that the mv showed them being connected trough dreams so I think that for example Sunwoo and Haknyeon are both having the same dream(riding an empty subway and sunwoo notices him for the first time),Eric and Q are both dreaming of being in the same alley,Sangyeon is dreaming about playing instruments together with Kevin and so is Jacob but it's the first time Sangyeon meets someone else beside Kevin in his dream,New and Juyeon are dreaming about being on a rooftop(?) and with a drone they see a third person(Hwall) dancing for the first time.

Basically they are all surprised of seeing someone else in their own dream.

Oh wow I never heard abt this! It's definitely an interesting plot/theory. I have been wondering abt what the MV is actually abt bc their expressions seem... weird. Not weird, more like subtly surprised? And Sangyeon's expression in the end of the MV really intrigued me lol. I just feel like there's actually a plot there and we only see a glimpse of it.

Reading this made me feel touched, and happy, and sad . I felt heartbroken when he wrote about how he took more time to memorize things but the staff still took care of him well. We all know how he got bashed so much because of this. After reading this, I feel like he has been thru a lot. He must have been really anxious because he was scared he wouldn't be able to keep up with the others. Really, I hope he has kind teachers who understand his slow learning process and are willing to guide him until the end. His message to his late dad also made me teary. He really really loves him, and his mum.

 

The more I read about him, the more I cherish him dearly. Whenever I see his smile, I feel happy, yet a bit sad. He's just so pretty and glowing in my eyes. Tbh the song isn't really my style but I still find it decent. I love the choreo. It was definitely a really tiring one, as they were drenched in sweat from performing that song alone. But I can understand as they really danced energetically. The synchronization was really good. The movements were amazingly smooth too. With that many members, I'm surprised that most (if not all) of them are actually at least decent dancers. Even the vocals were pretty good dancers.

His moves are much cleaner and sharper now. I'm kinda dissatisfied as he is mostly on the side, but this choreo distribution is alr much better than the don't need no money dance where he was mostly on the back. And I'm really, really happy that he improved A LOT. Back then his moves sometimes looked awkward but now his moves are much smoother and natural. I really love the way he moved his hands. His hands movements were seriously so pretty. The movements looked elegant imo lol. He was in sync with the rest of the members too. His facial expressions couldn't be seen that clearly but from the fantaken pics his expressions were beautiful as always. But really I think I'm in love with his hands movements and his body waves lool.

 

In the showcase he said that one of the hardest time when he prepared the debut was whenever he couldn't memorize the choreo fast. He wanted to do better but his body just wouldn't follow. I really feel him as I often need time to learn/study abt something too. But despite him being a slow learner, he still managed to show a really good performance. I'm so proud of him.
