  1. Oh your explanation makes sense. I do hope fans don't end up comparing or bashing the other guy. If the combos both make it in for marketability YG (or the staff) might want to force some acting on them to give fans more content. Hope not. Oops now I'm being a downer... Anyway it's only a few hours before the Tuesday shooting comes. Honestly why can't this end soon. We'll get a bunch of spoilers circulating for 3 days (a loong time) which just makes this all the more agonizing. And also, it's gonna be the last day to vote, remember to vote for your lineup peoplee.
  2. That's all good to know. Haruto and Mashiho are Japanese (and the only ones with actual chances of debut) so I'm glad they have people to rely on. I mean yeah the whole group is full of nice people willing to listen but it's good to be close to someone. Yes while I'm a fan of ships I'm also scared of those who only care about them because of the ships. Hope it doesn't escalate to ship/fan wars or something. Though tbh I haven't seen that problem in YG groups, the whole JenLisa culture is news to me. Much more than the Junkyu "counterpart"? Ummm what does that even mean...
  3. I wonder if YG or any of the staff knows of the existence of "ships" or to be more formal, "combo" like Hajeongwoo and Mashikyu... They have to at least use the internet right...Right.... My heart would break into half if they decide to split any of them up. Hope these combos count as "stan attractors" which translate into money in YG's POV so he'll keep them...
  4. Yes. I definitely think Yoonbin's English skill is needed. The group need someone who can communicate with international fans too. Blackpink do well on their own because their English skills are superb. Not to mention... This "advertising" and not taking in a wonderful rapper/English speaker like Yoonbin is madness.
  5. This. Instead of worrying who Yoonbin's up against, I'm more worried whether YG would even consider a 3-rapper group. I've listened to many, many YG songs and their songs only ever support 2 rappers. It's one in the 1st verse and one in the 2nd verse. This could be due to the producers tailoring the song to fit 2 rappers (since their groups only ever have 2), or maybe the idea of 3 rappers just never worked in their minds. One of the rappers have to at least be able to sing-rap or something, like not a full-fledge rapper idk if that's even a term but that way they can be flexible. While some rappers' fans worry about the rappers' line distributions, I'm more worried about the vocalists. Like, look at iKON, 2 rappers/5 vocalists and there have always been problems going around with their distribution for Yunhyeong and Chanwoo. I'm not blaming anyone because I know it's hard to be completely equal with those things but it is still a problem. Also this is why I don't want a large group. I've always loved YG artists because they keep the members number low. Imagine the agonizing wait just to hear your bias sing a few seconds in the song or get some screentime. Sure debut is better than being in the dungeon but I still oppose to that idea.
  6. While the new Going Crazy ver by Treasure 5 sounded bad to me, I'm still hella curious how Yoonbin's rap part in the second verse was handled by other rappers. Damn that was cut out. But I don't mind Yoonbin debuting and taking up that part again. Not at all. Lovely idea actually. He can have that part all to himself.
  7. I wish YG could've at least TRIED to hide the fact that he saved Seunghun (and probably Jaehyuk). The editing and insane amount of sobs flashback before elimination were too much. Seunghun's t-shirt could be seen when the saved trainee opened the door near the end. And then there's this voting thing. So technically, as of now, from the show, nobody has been saved yet. Everyone has been eliminated except the 11 trainees who truly made it to the finals. But noooo they faded out all others leaving only 4. And those 4, as of now, from what was shown to the media, have been eliminated. Yet fans can vote and let them compete with the non-eliminated ones like normal. Now that is a very biased system I have never seen before in my life.
  8. Yeah I felt they were okay, not impressive like "Woahhh" but okay. I still like D&D because it was fun how they moved around the stage and spread their energy.
  9. This. And some people dare suspect the boys randomly put together will have teamwork problems. Look at Hajeongwoo and Mashikyu.
  10. I feel like whoever that second person is...will only be used as a smokescreen to hide the fact that YG really wanted to save Seunghun. I love Hyunsuk too. His rap and personality really grew on me during the show. I watched Mixnine and wasn't really impressed with him (or Junkyu. Damn that boy changed a lot). But now I want him to debut and lead the group. I don't see why 3 rappers can be a problem since BTS manages it so well (to be clear, I'm not their fan). But the fact that YG's previous 7 members group iKON has only 2 rappers scares me. Actually all of YG boygroups have 2 rappers...damn.
  11. Yeah I don't get what's the deal with all the Jaehyuk screentime tbh. Why is he suddenly given so much attention? The whole Growl team was literally Jaehyuk('s hardships) and friends.
  12. I get what you mean, but where do they go after that? The hype from Produce shows is not gonna last forever and needs to be used while it's...hot. And I hate seeing the trainees get separated. Hajeongwoo and Mashikyu are such sweethearts. I'm not sure who Yoonbin's close to since he did mention he only trained at YG for a short period. But yes this is more my selfish feelings than anything logical...
  13. He's not throwing anyone away...yet. You can see he's conflicted about the choices. As of now all members from the top 3 ranks are still in the finals. YG wants fame and money, especially when other companies are stepping up their game. I have no idea what he really has in mind but he really is thinking it through. I just hope after everything he wouldn't just revert back to the original easy route and debut the whole rank 1 (which is...team A + Jihoon basically).
  14. LOL easy question. Golden Lineup + Junghwan. I've been voting like crazy for them with my account, even pestering my friends who don't watch YGTB to help.
  15. That sounds terrible. Mnet's groups are mostly temporary (as in, except for fromis_9), if you mean they leave YG and join Mnet's show, it will be a drama hell with toxic fans. Probably even more than YGTB now. There will not only be terrible screentime division, but also evil editing. If they stay in YG there's no reason for them to join another show, (again Mnet's Produce shows are hell), YG will push them all into another survival show before debut anyway, that's how their boygroups work.
  16. Is there any point in visiting the trainees' individual channels and tapping hearts? I feel like a mad lady with nothing to do just tapping on my phone hoping for my favs to debut. But nobody ever mentioned what that ranking is even for...or did I miss something.
  17. Yes. And some of those anti-young-trainees make it sound like those young ones debuting in the future is 100% guaranteed...when it's not. Knowing YG they'll go probably go through hell again to debut. As their fans I do NOT like that idea.
  18. This is so sad. I hate it when people think younger trainees should stay in the dungeon. Look what happened to Natty. It'll be a blow to the trainees mentally, and a blow to their fan hype.
  19. Same. At first it was only Golden Boys (and then somehow the votes were split into OG7 when people think 3 rappers in one group is bad)...I love OG7 too but at this rate unless we push for one of the two groups, it seems like we are losing to the united team A + Jihoon stans. And by one group I mean Golden Boys, there's no way to vote once per day for OG7 and catch up to rank 1.
  20. It's...still....possible. I wouldn't say "likely". The best you can do is keep voting for them.
  21. Damn they still had Jeongwoo and Yedam (from the first Treasure 7) but yeah it sounded bad...
  22. It took me a while and I just realize the Going Crazy treasure 5 ver sounds bad (to me) because the song itself was INDEED changed. The cutesy chipmunk voice "I'm not crazy" in the background is changed to "I'm going crazy" in a very moody tone. The beat is also heavier and the pitch seems lower...or is it my imagination... I know the group is not going to sing only this song for their whole career but the fact that they (had to?) change it up so much while it's a theme song is just saddening.
  23. Truly hope YG only brought back Seunghun for "consideration". I am so hating this biased show if he really debuts team A + Jihoon. Saving an eliminated trainee to make him a lock and debut him later while those who truly got in without being saved don't get to debut, that's crazy. I hope he takes into account the fact that rank 2+3 votes are on par with rank 1. However that is still split between 2 groups so not even sure if they'll even consider it a legit fanbase.
  24. Honestly if YG ends up debuting Team A + Jihoon I'm gonna cry sad tears. I don't hate team A + Jihoon at all but my love for the golden lineup is too large at this point to change. And I will be upset too. Choosing that option only means YG put the other trainees there for the drama and exposure and just let their hype die waiting for some future debut chance. I really hope YG (including all producers) think it through. Also while some people say the ranking is not everything and rank 1 doesn't equal 100% debut, we have no solid proof that they will not rely on rank 1 and just go the easy way either. Everything's so uncertain right now...
