Yes exactly. LOL YG suddenly turns out to be a genius at management....sounds hardly believable. Look at how much BP's fandom is divided and that's only 4 members. I mean, they ARE big and famous, but is that thanks to good management? I don't think so. He also has the tendency to push rappers more than singers. I respect YG because he sees talent, he knows how to nurture it and choose it. But I don't see good management in him (or YG staff in general). Thinking about Yoonbin and Jeongwoo getting in but needs to "fight" in their own group for lines and screentime is hurtful... A big group can get famous, sure, but the individuality of each member just isn't the same.

I don't think a group with a "strange" number of members is gonna attract any considerable attention. Salty fans and akgaes are bound to pop up anyway. Fans will always have reasons to fight. (I didn't even know fighting over clothes was a thing until some salty BP fans started bashing Jennie) Any number lower than 13 will have salty fans because the team A + Jihoon, Golden lineup and OG7 (+ Jaehyuk) fans want all their boys to debut. And as of now all the boys have considerable fandoms anyway. Moreover, a large number would also means the lineup strays from the dream lineup some fans expected. They might not want member A in the group, or they might think member B steals lines from their fav(s), member C ruins the concept/song...etc. Heck, some Haruto fans literally voted for OG7 because they thought having only 2 rappers would benefit the boy more (no hate btw if you fans read this, I understand that pov). Instead of trying to satisfy as many people as he can, YG should really focus on what he envisions, what he wants/plans for the group. It's not gonna do any good to add in a bunch of members and not knowing what to do with them. Being new needs to come with quality.

Okay maybe "fair" is a wrong word. But...a decent amount? That sounds wrong also... At least they need to really have a part to sing. I think it would be mentally damaging to that person who always gets too few lines. They're partly singers after all. It doesn't have to always be that way, like, A can sing more in song A, and next time in song B, B will sing more, or something.

I don't think that's happening...OT9...maaaaaybbeee. I'm sure YG has the fear of messing up group management if he debuts more than the planned number of members. He would need to think hard about song choices and marketing strategies to manage a big group. It might sound like a very nice idea to fans and trainees but it's gonna be hell for the managers if they have no idea what they're doing.

WINNER has such a...wonderful number lol. 4 with 2 rappers and 2 vocalists (well before this there were 3 vocalists....but that's the past). Fans also have plenty of their biases' screentime. I feel like Chanwoo and Yunhyeong need more lines but well, "fair" distribution will always be difficult to achieve.

LOL at this point I'm sure he's used to being hated already. Maybe that scene from your imagination might just scare him enough

Well the only "advantage" we've heard so far is the point system. More lineup appearances = more points. Not sure how that counts toward deciding the final lineup...hope it affects something at least... Oh right. It's actually the 20% vote thing, and 30% on-site + 50% from YG. Well in the end YG's choice matters.

Me too. I know they are all talented but any more than 7 will be too many. I want my bias to debut AND shine, not to blend in with the background. If YG really wants to debut 13 then just split them into two groups. All the better.

I don't get why YG is not smart enough to make money off the songs. Like, release all versions including OT7, OT6, OT5. 13, 28 and get money lol. They already recorded the songs so it's not like it takes that much of an effort. Not to mention it's good to scout the market and see which version sells best.

Yes what matters to me now is the members lol. If I love the group members YG can name the group Tissue Box for all I care.

I don't hate it (not sure if I like it). I mean I hope the group would be big enough to overshadow any different meaning the word has. Like before BTS, the "BTS" acronym only means Behind The Scenes, but now even real Behind The Scenes videos are thought to be about BTS - the K-pop boygroup (which is...kind of annoying tbh...).

I think I've been listening to Yoonbin's rap too much and it's affecting me. I love Haruto and Hyunsuk but the way they handled Yoonbin's part in Going Crazy just doesn't feel right somehow

Damn it YHS has been "thinking" and "wanting" too much. I just want to know who he will debut to carry out his "different, world-shaking" boygroup plan. This is agonizing. But. *yell* Golden lineup is the different group you need Yang CEO-nim *yell*

I'm curious what Teddy is doing at TBL. Things have been quiet and I honestly want him to take the Seunggon duo there, or maybe some more trainees if YG fails at good decision-making...

Yes we've had the chance to hear him speak English in his intro video and the team practice. And I agree. Having a Chinese member is gonna be convenient (and new) for a YG group. But the thing is I have no idea if Jyunhao was still in the competition, who would he replace. All 3 group rankings seem to be solid, in my opinion at least.

Oh I miss that voice too. But who did that? There's the new "I'm going crazy" voice. Who's that. They're all autotuned so much I cannot recognize whose voice it is lol. Also why do I feel like that new version is here to stay... they've used it twice already, at both semi & finals...

Let's not forget the age argument. Yedam (the ace) and Doyoung are younger than say...Yoonbin and Mashiho. (And Yoshinori, Jyunhao, Seokhwa, Mahiro, Keita, Yunseo...the list goes on.) I'm not hating but seriously their arguments sometimes are just so...flawed.

LOL YG being lazy lately, or maybe they're too busy doing the math and picking out the debut group. We have no reaction cam, no focus cam, no diary cam...nothing. Except the "lie detector" videos and that one team stage behind cam. And I'm still mad we never get full stages of...any performances. The "full" stuff are just focus cams of the trainees and they're not really the same.

If it's "someone in the company" I feel like they're gonna lean more to the longer-trained trainees... Except maybe truly objective people like...producers...maybe....
