Did the episode mention anything about the final lineup was already picked? I just hope YG is not dragging this out because he needs more time to choose...that's a whole new level of ridiculous.

I like Hyunsuk (he's my second bias right after Junkyu if we're talking about team A only, actually they are the only 2 I stan in team A...Yedam was a lock since..forever so I never have many opinions on him) so I'd be...okay. The problem is I love Yoonbin's voice too much and there might be a long period where I'd just think of "what ifs" and how their songs would sound like with his voice.

Yes Mashiho's still in and I hope he gets choosen too. YG's gonna ruin a lot of things if he "saves" Mashiho for the Japanese group... I haven't watched the episode and there's still no subs and no explanation so I have no idea how YG chose the lineup...

Damn if that's the case it will be quite a trainwreck. YG already "ruined" the lineup for team A fans by adding Junghwan. Putting Hyunsuk in there will then mess up the lineup for OG7 fans too. Way to go woohoo how to piss off as many people as possible

With Yedam and Junkyu gone the other 5 team A + Jihoon can just make a new group tbh. Their "vibes" fit each other. The thing is idk how YG can pull off managing 2 new boygroups (and his next girlgroup). Produce groups have been doing pretty well so ehhh...if this treasure 7 can pull through then fame and fortune are waiting for them.

Seunghun only trained at YG for around 3 years (maybe less). I agree he's the longest running one but counting in YG, he's not. Stop making it sound like YG owes him 10 years of youth.

Right. Hello fellow Golden Lineup fan I can't believe Yoonbin and Hyunsuk might have to fight over the rap position... To me the Golden Lineup was perfect... But now that it has come to this...I just root for Yoonbin honestly I love Hyunsuk but I still prefer Yoonbin's voice and I think he is needed for the songs. He slayed Haruto's rap part in Going Crazy. I never thought someone could top Haruto doing that.

I have mixed feelings. Twitter is bad enough but some crazy K-netz will eat him alive :|

I noticed Mashiho got the center part in the Going Crazy OT13 dance break. OT13 and he's still the center. I hope YG notices this boy and debut him. NOW.

Junghwan is getting so much hate. I'm a fan of the Golden lineup (which is...well...impossible now) but the hate that poor boy receives is not what he deserves. I just realize how well Yoonbin handled Haruto's rap part in Going Crazy. He must debut. Well I'm rooting for OG7 now. I love their version of Going Crazy anyway - the legendary one.

I'm not sure why you're really sticking to the idea that same number of members would create fan wars. YG already mentioned he wants to try a fresh, different concept for this group. I don't think he will back out of that now and reverts to the same hip-hop, dark, cool whatever concept (esp something like iKON). And why would people be unhappy if some group has the same number of members as their fav group? Except...idiots really. You can only have so many numbers of members per group. Someone said this already, but I'll say again, WINNER used to have 5 members like BIGBANG, even the same 2 rappers 3 vocals format. But there were no (from what I've seen) wars between both fandoms. WINNER established a different image for themselves with their music. BLACKPINK did get compared to 2NE1 and weelll that went on for a while but YG (and BP themselves) successfully pulled them out of 2NE1's shadow by their music and presence. I believe YG and the 7 treasures themselves (assuming it's 7) can achieve the same different image from iKON. Honestly if anything, I'm sure building a different vibe/image for the OT7 group is gonna be much easier work for YG than some foreign "new" number group like OT8+. Yes there are big successful groups, but let's keep in mind those groups aren't under YG, that hasn't changed for almost 20 years. Now of course YG might be good at managing big groups, but we don't know really... Edit: I noticed someone negged you, to avoid unnecessary conflicts, I did not do that.

I wonder if the lineup is decided already. Tomorrow is already d-day and fans are still going crazy (LOL...okay lame sorry) on Vlive with the ranks. Don't tell me YG will just go to bed not knowing what he'll do tomorrow... I truly hope they will end everything too, dragging it out until next week or sth is bad for my heart

There's no confirmation yet but I hope it's true lol. The Japanese trainees are too talented to be wasted in the Japanese dungeon. And I just really want to see how a YG boygroup truly targeted at the Japanese market would be like.
