These fansites are investing money and time into equipment and the ability to attend these fan events so for someone to take their work and use it to profit (the prizes) just isn't right. Blockberry doesn't have any power to grant fans permission to use their work, that's 100% the owner's decision.

HER HAIR!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR THE LONGEST TIME!!! She totally pulls it off. Might honestly be my favorite style of hers besides her classic Cupid-era straight, natural color hair. I seriously can't believe Jiho and Binnie nearly have the same length now. Crazy.

A lot of the complaints about the contest were from fansites whose pictures were being used for the memes without permission, which they've made very clear is not allowed. May not seem like a big issue for some but they've been pretty respectful (and very vocal) about how the pictures are not to be reused, so it's pretty shitty for some fans to take their pictures and crop out their watermarks for some contest. As for the twitter account, I think they at least owe it to k-fans to have info posted in Korean, whether it's on a separate account or whatever. They are a Korean Pop group after all.

Yikes that's not good. I hope BBC at least listens to the complaints and makes an adjustment. I'd really hate to lose these fantastic fan sites over something like this (not to mention the whole meme mess, too)

Probably either because of the character count or wanting to connect more with i-fans (or maybe both). I've seen some pretty annoyed k-fans though, so I hope they change back at some point. Never really made a difference to me.
