Could Dance the night away be the unused BEP song? I remember in an interview BEP said they produce Twice songs with Halloween in mind. Nayeon jokingly saying it was a horror concept and Chaeyoung's spooky drawings can all align with this. I'm already envisioning an MV like LOA with zombies but instead a haunted forest/island or something. 

I honestly kinda liked the mancity So Good track lol, especially from like 2min on. I can't help but hear Twice in it. Nayeon/Jihyo chorus, Mina adlibs, 2 rappers going back and forth(dubhcae), etc. Also the chorus has that drum n bass vibes like in Cheer Up/Candy Pop. It does unfinshed. Definitely sounds like demo/guide track.

Imagine being a J-Once, only discovering about Twice during TT, then finding out they're doing a concert where theyll perform all their title tracks in your native language along with their 4 Jp exclusive songs, along with some extra Korean songs. Maybe some of you might feel ripped off and that its a "cash grab" because you've been with Twice since 2015 and you know all the songs already but to them this is probably a huge thing.

I know some people got turned off at how "kiddy" it sounded and it was "so Japanese" but listening to the song it actually sounded like a Korean Twice song to me. The verses were trap/pop (reminded me of Red Velvet Ice Cream Cake) and the verses were Drum n Bass just like the chorus in Cheer Up was. Try listening to it without the visuals and maybe you'll hear it differently. 

With that said, I thought the song was great. Fav parts, Chaeyoungs rap in the 2nd verse and Dahyun actually got the bridge and she sounded amazing. Only thing I didn't like was that I wish there were more shots of the choreo but I guess with a storyline driven MV its harder to incorporate it. 

Looks like they are showcasing the work of a local (Japanese) designer, so don't blame Twice's usual stylist for this. We don't really know where the decision for this came from - it could be from from Warners.

to people who aren't used to it looking at runway fashion, it looks jarring because theyre wearing very loud peices which are supposed to be worn individually, all at the same time. for example look at the runway looks a/w '17 compared to looking at the clothes separately on the online shop, the clothes don't look as bad as people are making it out to be. 

with that said the styling does look pretty bad but hey, it's free sponsored clothes by a high end brand/they probably made money advertising for them. I just hope people don't go all out attacking the brand because all that negativity can ruin future opportunities of other brands to work with the girls b/c of backlash that god forbid they give the "wrong top" to a member. it's just for 1 performances. they will live through it lol

Ok so all the styling has been fantastic for their Korean activities. Is it a different stylist? Maybe it's just suited for Japanese taste/Jpop. I mean the One More Time outfits/album cover outfits weren't the greatest either. Just saying.

Judging from the hidden teaser I think we could be getting one. Even if it's a simple one like their confession song cover I would be happy with.

The song was predictable since they gave us so much previews they gave us but from holy shit, from Mina on was soooo good. It made the song so epic sounding.

I'm glad Twice performed only 2 songs. This low energy crowd doesn't deserve it. Hope they get to hear real cheers in their upcoming tour.

Momo’s father is the dean of an orthopaedic hospital and he used to be a American football player. Momo also chose the number '64' as her shirt number caused it's the same number that her father used when he played as a American football player. 

I think it was Mina's father that dealt orthopedics. Not sure if he was a professor at a university or an actual surgeon. 

People need to stop getting so worked up about sales, charting, views, awards etc. Literally acting like Tiger parents. Isn't kpop supposed to be fun? If people would focus more on the important stuff like the actual music and the content they provide to us and maybe they would stop being so bitter and be happier with life. 

A flight from Korea to Japan is 2 hours or so. That's like the time of my commute to and from work (traffic sucks). And if it's rest that's the concern, they seemed well enough to even grace us with a vlive.

We usually tend to compare TWICE with GOT7 promotion-wise, and iirc GOT7 do promote their bside on music shows.

TCL2 era was a repackaged one, SIGNAL's bside absence was justifiable because of Jihyo's health, but what do you think about this era? I guess everyone expected to see some bside promo since it's a full album.

I'm chalking it up to just time constraints. I can only imagine how busy and packed their schedules are. I remember reading in an interview they're pretty much booked until February 2018. Remember Twice isn't the average group. Between Korean comebacks they;re also doing JP activities so its non stop for them.

I'm pretty sure they are learning/practicing choreo for the new tracks but may be due to time constraints it may not be fully ready to show the public just yet. I guess we'll just have to wait for their next concert or hopefully we'll get one of those end of the promotion special stages. So yea, I would love to see them perform a bside but I'm not going to fault them for not doing so. For me at this point since I feel I already get so much its a luxury and not a necessity.

After a solid two days of listening to twicetagram non stop...this is one of my favorite albums. Every song is so feel good I can't stop smiling through the whole thing.

 

That being said...making a top 5 was so difficult. Here's what my top 5 would be right now but will probably change many times:

Seriously, I love every song on this album.

Yea its so hard choosing a fav. I couldn't decide a top 3 so had to settle for a top 5 for now. My list is similar to yours, excluding Likey, my list has 24/7 and Rolling. But yea all the tracks are great. Every time I listen to it, even with the songs I didn't like at first, I end up finding things I love about them. 

Random question, but does anyone happen to know what earbuds Jeongyeon had in the MV during that night scene.

I was a bit hesitant when I heard teaser 2. But after hearing this I'm fully on board again. 

My guess, theyll do another MV teaser with some of the lyrics of the intro then the an album teaser trailer

 

 

Not sure if it helps you or not, but 99% of YT comments starting with "I am a ONCE, but bla blah blah complaint about their latest releases or vocal or main vocalists" are actually haters in disguise. The difference between haters that outright complain about twice vocal and haters that pretend they love JY is a difference of 10 IQ because the latter look like real ONCEs and are able to mislead more people and to create unhappiness within ONCEs.

 

 

It's funny/sad... when Signal first came out and was getting plowed with negativity I actually clicked on some of those so called "Once" users. Most not subscribed to JYP or Twice channels, no Twice related videos under playlist/likes but lots of other activity when it comes to other groups. Thats why I've always said I take youtube comments with a grain of salt.

its really funny. what are the odds they'd see kpop in a foreign country, in the middle of times square, and they hear THEIR song. bet they feel great seeing so many people enjoying themselves. also it must be a breath of fresh air walking around and not being mobbed by people. overall they look like theyre enjoying themselves. ik jp debut is in a couple of days but i hope they get a chance to enjoy more of nyc
