I think that the original dream pop acts were probably Enya and the Cocteau Twins. There is dream pop in Korean music, but it's mostly lesser known groups (the exception being "Closer"). 2 examples that come to mind are Oohyo "Youth (Day)" and also The Black Skirts "Everything"...

Hmmm. So there was a hiatus of LoonaTV leading right up to Choerry's teaser. Sounds like they were trying to make us extra hungry for some new content. Methinks I see a master plan at work here ...

The K-Fans are necessary but I hope that the Loona fansites don't become too serious and business-like. I've seen fans and fansites become so demanding that they end up hurting the groups that they follow and poisoning the positive vibe of the fandom. That letter reminds me of the kind of letter that a union might send to an employer that they have a problem with. When fandom becomes that close to running like a business, that's when I step away and surround myself with the casual fans who just want to support and have a good time. Also, it turns out that the death threat that was made against Apink was from a disgruntled fan whose letters to Apink's company weren't being answered. Once disgruntled fans start writing letters to companies, maybe they're just starting to take things too seriously...

I was sleeping on "I'll Be There" for a while, but after joining the effort to get it to 500k I was reminded how much fun it was, and how much of an earworm it is that I can't get out of my head...

I wonder if "New Zealand Story" is next up for LoonaTV and they're waiting for 100k subs. Hope not, because the subs are going up veeeeery sloooooowly...

I know of one guy who's giving all the girls nicknames that end in -JIN, so he can call the whole group 12Jin. Our fandom has attracted some veeery interesting people

I thought this was pretty interesting: The intent was just to do a side by side comparison, SITR vs HITR, but IMO it shows how very cool Jinsoul and Heejin sound rapping together... Also, I won't be awake for "I'll Be There" hitting 500k, but all I can say is it's about time for that underrated classic! I hope that milestone gets it a lot of attention!

Hehe. That would be interesting if, after blurring her all those months, they made her an animal known for disappearing :D And I also like the butterfly idea a lot. Not only would it explain the 2 colors, but the MV could explore the "butterfly effect" which I always heard was the idea that a butterfly flapping it's wings could cause ripples in the air that could travel around the world and even trigger a hurricane...

I have this picture in my mind about the Master Plan. They're keeping us busy with LoonaTVs (etc.) almost daily and releases every month, but I don't see the pace letting up after the debut. In between comebacks by the full group I see them releasing more solos and subunit songs. If anyone was hoping for downtime or rest after the debut, I really don't think they'll get it ...

"KimSoul" is definitely going to be a thing, just like 2Jin...

Thanks for the link. Somehow, YT and FB were trying to play it as if it were 360. Hmmm. It was uploaded to Naver a couple of days ago, and tonight Kim Lip's poetry reading was just added. Sounds like someone got confused about what was supposed to be uploaded YT an FB and what wasn't...

I couldn't see it on YT (after getting notification), so I hopped over to Facebook and managed to save a copy before that was taken down. No big deal, though. They'll probably just correct the problem and then re-upload it. It definitely looks like a regular video that accidentally was playing like a VR360 video... Meanwhile, I'm falling asleep tonight to Hyunjin's voice reading a poem over some gentle piano music ...
