it wasn't a tumblr, it was a blog and it wasn't before she was famous since carol came out AFTER twice's debut. and there wasn't any "gay stuff". it was just her reflecting about how people in korea viewed homosexuality as something that was wrong, and how she didn't see anything wrong with it and it wasn't "stalker fans". k-onces already knew about it for a while and it was leaked by nayeon stans to cover up nayeon's private instagram that had been exposed to distract the attention since she (chaeyoung) talked about illegally downloading the movie (since she was underage, she couldnt watch it in theaters).

It's interesting how they're the first 3rd gen female idols to speak out about it (well chaeyoung's case can't quite be considered speaking out since people weren't supposed to know it was her) since they come from very different backgrounds. jennie grew up in new zeland and was trained in a company where the artists have a lot of freedom of speech. chaeyoung comes from a catholic family, actually grew up with her grandma who she describes as very strict and trained in a company that is known to be very "family friendly" and sk's definition of family friendly (just like any other conservative country) means expressing the popular opinion only.
