OMG Hyunsuk was in Stand by me... we could have seen Hyunsuk, Hangyeom, Hyojin in one team.... Looks like he was moved after elimination. Missed opportunity :(

i think 27 --> 9 is too extreme. PD101 last round went from 20 --> 11 so I think we can expect one more round. 27 --> 18 --> 9.

i really don't understand how you can fit in domestic promotions and overseas concerts within a few months.... and YG started this show saying he wanted to make a global group... how can that be possible with just being active for a few months after the end of the show? makes no sense.... if YG is smart he'll try to negotiate some kind of arrangement where the debut group can be active for like 6 months per year. Its mutually beneficial as it will let the debut group keep growing fame which will help their original groups too. just an idea. whats more, they could do something like boy group promotes for first 6 months, then girl group for last 6 months and make it a permanent thing.

agree with lots being said - not a fan of how the way online voting is designed it helps contestants with established fanbase (e.g. Woo Jinyoung) or contestants from same company (e.g. ONF), but I think once we get to one person, one vote it will start to clear up. I wasn't a fan of Woo Jinyoung in the beginning because it seemed like he was riding on PD101 fame but he's growing on me and I've accepted the fact that he'll be in the debut group. Whilst i agree that people should make the debut team based on their own abilities, I also don't want more than 2 trainees from same company if possible. Especially if they are only there because of online voting.

the benefit points are probably too much BUT it worked out well for the boys side because bar 1-2 exceptions, the 27 remaining seem right. pretty much in line with online voting. Not sure about the girls side though.

yeah, imho its time to go to 1 pick now. and also increase the judges vote for this round.

Dcinside has counted 24 so far, so I assume the cut really is 27. Some surprising passes (see spoiler above) and also several surprising absences (maybe haven't arrived yet). Starting to think that YHS may have used some sort of 'judges pick' in this round.

So because today is the date of the 3rd recording, we have a better idea of who was eliminated from pictures taken by fans when the contestants arrived. will update above when more arrive.

27 --> 9 is quite a big jump... i expect at least one more round in between.

100% I was so angry with RBW Jaejun when i watched the broadcast but now i'm starting to feel a bit sorry for him because of how people (including myself) are viciously attacking him. Yes, he made mistakes that impacted many other contestants but mistakes happen and he's only been training for 2 months. Also TBH although Jaejun's mistakes made the performance's weakness become more obvious, I don't think the stage was better than any of the other teams even if there had been no mistakes. the choreo was too simple.

i think filmed right before they did the Christmas relay VLive thing, hence why Jaejun mentioned that they were wearing tracksuits.

Just thought of something... a lot of the ONF members have high rankings despite not being very exposed on broadcast. This is probably because each person has 6 votes now so ONF fans can vote for all the members. But once voting becomes 1 person, 1 vote (maybe in the upcoming round), their totals may drop a lot.

funnily enough they seem to have edited the Full Stage Ver. to reduce Jaejun's errors. Maybe they muted his mic or something, but I couldn't really hear him singing over the others during their parts.

yeah i agree but seeing as how the actual rankings are quite similar to the online vote rankings, I don't think the judge votes (e.g. YHS) make *that* much of a difference.

audience votes(including benefit)+judge votes+online votes. i don't think we actually know how much each counts (i assume 50/50). and benefit points are for everyone in the team.

tbh i've really developed a soft spot for TREI Jaejun. maybe its the underdog edit, but even though i know that he's perhaps not as stable vocally than other contestants, i really want him to succeed. his story arc is one of my favourites.
