    I'd be surprised if YG's label alone was able to extend so far to its unknown rookies though.... Bobby, Mino are different cases because they had fans before. Korean viewers don't have the same label commitment as international fans.

    So I guess they'll only perform on Inkigayo? YG doesn't have the strongest relationship with KBS/MBC so Music Bank/Core is a doubt already... Hopefuly M!countdown apologises. Maybe an MNET executive instead.

    I guess we will never hear the entirety of this bop? And I agree with all of you - I hope he's going to YG to debut as a solo artist. I don't think he fits the idol mould and will work best solo. Hopefully YG feels the same way and manages him properly. It seems like he can compose as well so he fits the YG style soo much.

    I thought Show Champion and The Show were the only ones that excluded non-promoting songs? Although Mnet also did this to 2NE1 on the first week of their comeback last year.

    Just popping into say that interview was excellent and really genuine. Tbh I've always loved Winner's music but this controversy kinda made my distanced from truly enjoying their music; reading about the experience from his perspective put a lot of things into context and I guess I have been too harsh on him recently. Hope we get a comeback soon.

    Turns out he's directly under YG but the fact that YG went to the trouble of buying him out of his contract with D-Business based solely on his SMTM performance tells me he has plans for him and he won't be stuck in the dungeon for long. It's not like Katie Kim who he was forcefully saddled with because of KPopStar commitments. Also the current YG HighGrnd set up means the Tablo/HighGrnd avenue is always open to him ala Lee Hi. Hmm.. looks like he's working with YG producer BigTone (Team A/Winner's rap instructor) already? https://twitter.com/NY2SEOUL/status/643496158095020032 Maybe reading too much into this haha...

    Difference is they never incriminated IKON directly; the report was very general and I think they just used IKON's graphics to create controversy and generate publicity. I'm not sure YG can do anything about it.

    He was one of my favorites in SMTM4 so I'm excited that he's joining YG!! Wonder whether it is the Main Label of HighGrnd; either way I hope he is managed properly. Thread probably needs to be moved to 'Soloists' and renamed to get rid of the 1punch.

    Gary's album is being released at midnight today so I'm not holding my breath for PAK tmr. Regardless, CAK and 18 roof hits for a rookie is incredible and we're just getting started!

    Styling looks on point in that insta-teaser. Also it sounds like the bridge so I won't read too much into it; the insta-teaser of My Type was completely different from the song imo. Plus, we get 2 lead singles in October; I expect one to be tough hip-hop and the other to be more soft/vocal.

    I think it's more that they don't have a visual by international kpop fan standards; they're doing just fine in that department among k-netizens I think.

    I think at this rate they'll overtake Fly to the Sky at weekly no.1 at around 2-3am tomorrow. Just hope they can stay ahead on Mnet daily chart when it updates at noon + catch up on hourly charts of Mnet and Monkey 3 by then
