so, it seems like for kbs gayo, taemin will probably collab with fellow the unit mentors (hcy & hyunah) . & maybe with the unit contestants too?! for mbc gayo, if there'll be a collab for taem, who do you think it will be with? line-up hasn't been revealed yet but i think the possibilities: -rain? there seem to be a mutual collab interest between both taemin and rain. rain mentioned taemin several times now and taemin looks up to him. but not sure if rain would even attend since he's not even gonna attend the kbs one. maybe he wants to stay home during the holidays and celebrate ny's eve with his newborn. -chungha she really loves move as a song and dance that her agency even put effort to post her cover on yt, so, i think she'd prob won't pass up if given the chance to perf w/ taemin. it boils down to both agencies esp sm and whether taemin wants to. -sunmi again taemin said if he had another chance, he'd do it again w/ her because he didn't have enough time to practice w/ her during mama. plus they seem quite comfortable chatting w/ each other. -hyunah possible, they seem gotten friendlier since the unit but idk... i think taemin probably feels intimidated by her sexiness & boldness lol. but ngl i've been wanting to see them collab for the longest time. tho they'll prob collab for kbs, so likely won't happen for mbc. -his friends (jimin, kai, etc.) nice to see their friendship but honestly, the fanwars will be messy like before esp involving armys vs exols - seulgi i know sm fans wanted to see this, but honestly i doubt because heart stop is just a b-side from his album. but it could happen still. you never know

if i'm not mistaken, this guy is the one that impressed taemin. there's one ep where taemin visited them during practice & he mentioned he anticipates euijin the most and had high hopes for him because he likes his popping skills. euijin also looks young for a 90er that taemin mistakenly thought they're the same age haha. i hope he gets to the final top 9. he's rising alot and cracked the top 9. that's a good sign and hopefully he gets to keep the momentum until the final ep.

didn't it just start airing on kbs world like 2 days ago? i saw kbs world upload the 1st episode and some cuts/highlights from that episode

i think out of all the contestants, individually, n.ca has the biggest chance to get a public breakthrough especially if she gets to the final episode. whether she gets to be in final group or not, it doesn't matter. however i think she shines more as a soloist. her voice fits the public's taste and she's really cute and adorable which is another factor that could win the public's heart. her songs and voice also have the potential to do well on the digital charts (very public friendly). everyone/public has been sleeping on her, but on the unit, since her auditions (where she received superboot) until the recent gfriend cover, has been a revelation. everyone's been asking about her like "who's the main vocalist for the group that covered gfriend's song?" i hope through this show she'll achieve the recognition that she deserves.

how does kbs think its a good idea to make the girls cover a bts song? armys are practically one of the worsts kpop fandoms rn they'd attack anyone whom they think do not do a good job of covering their faves' songs. the girls dont deserve any possible witch hunt coming their way

she did great too. she surprised me and i did not expect her to nail a girl crush concept because isn't good day a rookie, cute, bright and young group? sorry i've never checked out this group. also, before today's eps i thought she resembled seohyun during snsd rookie days, so my expectations of her was that she's probably prim and proper. but she did great in "crazy" and proved me wrong. she's def one of the better ones in this perf.

yeah, kinda agree. i wouldn't say half but imo there's several that didn't fit the concept. for example, the matilda member smiling during perf. idg what was she thinking, she was supposed to act cool because this is a girl crush concept. as expected, she got the lowest score in this team. hyosun, mint, & euna saved this perf.

i realized i didn't name anyone from "you're the best" team as one who stood out. it's because most of the members were equally good and they have the many vocalist. tho i wished the girl who auditioned with kanto, got more lines. i liked her voice the best (what's her name? some1 pls tell me) hands down the "give it to me" team had the best female vocalists in this show (seol hayoon, saemi from matilda, yeoeun from melody day). when i was watching give it to me perf on yt, i saw some comments that said the group ruined this song. are they fkin serious? the vocals slayed and only the rap from janey was lacking, i admit she was the weakest link but it's not like bora was a great rapper either, lbr now. overall, i thought this group did great.

imo the best groups skill-wise: -give it to me -you're the best imo the best group performance-wise (stage presence and all): -crazy the girls who stood out for me in this ep: -n.ca from "rough" team (i love her voice. can't believe she's so underrated this whole time & she's so cute ><). -the melody day vocalist from "give it to me" group (some1 pls tell me her name. goddammit she slayed so much). -mint & hyosun from "crazy" group. ( this concept & perf fit them so much & they nailed+slayed the perf).

omg this so much. I saw alot of rv fans on yt bashing the group who covered red flavor and saying it was bad. they even commented under heart attack perf and said this group is better than the red flavor one.

i'm not sure. i only like anne from s.i.s, good day jiwon, and kim euna, not really feeling it from the rest of them yet (not familiar with them).

i really like sis anne's work ethic. she's the youngest, yet, got up the earliest to practice. she was on the right track and no doubt very prepared, but too bad she slightly messed up towards the end. well, things like these could happen to anyone. its just one of those things that could happen to anyone although they're already prepared mentally and physically but i guess the expectations and nervousness got the best of her. i'm keeping my eye on her tho. she's one of the girls that attracted me when i watched my turn mv. in the show, she's full of energy and positivity. i like her vibe and personality and she's pretty. she's one of the contestants i'm keeping my eye on in the future. i hope she'll do better next time and rise.

latest ep made me so proud of the white team boys. everyone and the judges were worried and didn't have any expectations for them but they impressed everyone and did really well. daewon was so passionate in teaching them the dance and they practiced it day and night even in their bedrooms lol. credit must also be given to the 5 members of mas who were not embarrassed to admit their flaws in dance because compared to the others who are experienced idols, these guys just learned to dance for 2 months. thus, they worked hard, were so motivated to learn and listened well to daewon's instructions. also all of this is not possible without their great teamwork, i mean, not just daewon, but the other 3 members that decide to join mas's team also played their part and they said they wanted to help mas too. during the interim evaluation, the judges/teachers were impressed. this group has so much humility and determination, it warms my heart to see that they pulled off the dance in the end without any mistakes and everyone was impressed. to think they did well compared to experienced idols who made mistakes, that was what impressed me. i think daewon knew they won't win or be the stars of the mv but he's just so determined to teach and make his group get their moves right and that's truly admirable. he doesn't seem greedy for the win or success but he just wants he and his team to do well. i'm rooting for the underdogs like these guys. i hope they will make it to the final ep at least.

the center for black team was ace jun. i saw 1 comment on kshownow comment section that said "no wonder the center of black team looks familiar because he was the young kangta on icsyv s4" can anyone confirm this? is it true? i did actually watch that ep of icsyv, and now that i remember it, jun really looks like the guy who was young kangta. but from what I remember from watching that ep, they didn't mention his real profession as an idol from group a.c.e. if i'm not mistaken, they only said he can dance and sing and looks like kangta 20 years ago.

when i saw move, it reminds me of pd101 hwanwoong and i thought he would love this and do a cover sooner or later. i've seen bunch of his dance covers and yeah he's one guy who's def not afraid to dance femininely. i guess its because the "move" disease is hot right now to the point they even used move as bgm for a popular drama starring a popular actor. its coined in top 3 viral disease in korea -iu's disease, kang daniel eating jelly disease and taemin's move disease. i see alot of dance covers by koreans/youtubers on youtube. but i didn't expect him to be that high at no.5 among trendy younger boygroups like bts and w1. he even ranked higher that most of them it's kinda hard to believe.

i hope euijin, the center for girls in the my turn mv won't drop out of top 9. she's got stage presence and star quality in the mv and music bank perf. i would like to see her in higher rank in the next eps.

this^its so true. anything can change. somebody from lower ranks might pull a kang daniel and shot up to no.1 and /or pull a sungwoon and only rise to final group line-up in last few ep.
