in terms of charting: looking at the top of melon in the last year…newjeans, ive, le sserafim, aespa, and (g)i-dle all seem to dominate. to top it off, their album sales are very high and they get a lot of buzz on community sites itzy seems to be doing well in album sales but they haven’t really had a “hit” song in a while (although tbh my data is skewed a bit bc i don’t follow them…sneakers might've done well iirc?). i wouldn’t necessarily place them at the same level as the aforementioned girls, but that can change at any given time.
