I think it might be more the opposite actually. Moonbyul has no writing credits on selfish, but she has one for in the room. Park woosang' s name is all over this album. Not to say woosang doesn't know how to write rap lyrics, but it's more likely to be that even byul will be doing more singing for selfish. I could also be completely wrong As for in the room, that'll be likely mixed based on the preview we got from the vlive. It's moonbyul, so we're bound to get mixed no matter what, if she had some music participation

so....almost mostly right. i knew the 3rd track was filler. and i shouldd have switched the seulgi track number with in my room. with all the hype moonbyul was giving in my room, i thought it would end being the title track instead. but that also couldnt have been right because selfish already has a confirmed MV while in my room doesnt. also.....dayum. look at that moonbyul logo. a quarter note and a bass note. so fitting

so...there's finally official news that moonbyul's "album" is out on the 23rd. I'm gonna make a conservative guess and still think that album equals, maybe at most, 3 tracks on the song. 1. MoonSeul track ( hope this is the case. we've been waiting long enough) 2. In my room/selfish (?) 3. in my room outro (assuming she makes this separate from the actual track) and let's not forgot that she's been working on a song called Mirror. It's very possible that mirror was just the working title for in my room. But I actually think it's a separate track, which she's been working on since even before in my room. and this song would be the solo byul track in mamamoo's summer mini.

lol. waiting's the hard part. that wouldve been nice, but it was starting to look like late june/early july anyway, based on how much later byul's solo release is than we expected. they also have been pretty mum about the next comeback, too. usually they start hinting little things by now, like last year with YIA. makes sense though. there really isnt much room for filming a video during festival season (unless that week"break" in the last week of may means something)

catching up with just the past 24 hours was hard there were so many fansite photos from dream concert alone, it took forever to save all of them. hwasa in another variety! of all the mamamoo members, i dont expect her to appear solo on variety ever. let alone, 2 in the span of 2 months. what a crazy year we live in

This festival was great. You can tell they were all into it, screamed whenever our girls screamed and sang along or cheered whenever they could. It was great, and i know the girls are much happier when the crowd is like this. You know its good when they're confident that they can get the crowd to make a wave. a lot of lightsticks too (not necessarily moobongs). i love it. Second of all, i was actually talking about YIA with my friend recently. I'm surprised at how much i missed this song, too. it wasn't my favourite title track at the time it was released, but it slowly creeped its way into being one of my favourites (got hyped when it got to byul's rap). It's really fun to see and listen to it performed at festivals like this. YIA is a sleeper hit in my heart.

The song in itself is good. i love that the main instrument used is the guitar, and everything else are supporting instruments. arrangement-wise, I can see why most of the singing parts were given to angel line. while it doesnt take away from the song, i don't think they should have given hwasa some of the higher ranges, since it makes her sound airy. it's not unattractive, and i think it fits towards the end, but it couldve been better. we got vocal byul for all of barely 10 seconds short, but sweet. hwasa followed after with a range she was obviously more comfortable with, and sounded way better than when she went into her high airy voice. overall, i reeaaaallly like it. i'm critiquing it right now, but i'm critiquing with love
