Serious question. Solar performed without her in ear monitor for Show Champion. How...? Last time I remember seeing one of them perform without it, it was hwasa and she slightly lagged behind the music. Still good, and she got through it like a champ but you could tell. So...did solar achieve like level 99 sense of timing that stage or what?

In light of the petty hate, we should actually feel some pride from how shallow they are. Knetizens (NATE, of all places) have no ground to stand on. Not even our babies looks and stage manners, judging by the little number of upvotes. On top of that, it's hilarious. Like seriously! Think about it. "YES I AM" is all about loving yourself and not taking any shit from anybody else for putting you down for being you. The hate in juxtaposition to mamamoo's song is DELICIOUSLY ironic. I honestly feel so good inside thinking about it. Like, what are you, if you're making fun of them for their low-key social commentary for the said things you make fun of them for. And on a related note, this is also why I love the response chant during the chorus. Aka, once again, "YES I AM." Mamamoo is calling for those who listen to them to follow them into loving yourself. The fact that it's the thing they encourage the listener to say back to them is like re-enforcing or building that self-confidence. I honestly love it, thinking of the song on that way.

You mistake their alcohol tolerances. As mentioned in previous vlives and radio shows, Wheebyul have the highest alcohol tolerances, match each other, and are the usual drinking buddies of the group. Hwasa comes next, and even though people like to believe that she can hold her beer well, she's surprisingly not so good at it (you can even tell that she's been slurring her speech towards the end). But NO-ONE can beat solar. I've never known a person with such a weak tolerance before.

So I've only been streaming Yes I Am in two ways so far, which is youtube and, something that is a first time for me, Melon. I might be hallucinating, but I honestly think the sound quality while streaming it on Melon is soooooooo much better. The sound mixing/quality is better. It's something that I knew from before, but I do realize to some extent, that youtube streaming tends to muddle the sound quality a little. but MAN, i didn't think I'd normally be able to tell the difference until I streamed on Melon. Highly recommend.

Lol. The diary is definitely wheein referring to her own mom. Ggomo attacked wheein's mom (technically? The camera) XD you can also tell from the voice behind the camera. Wheein's mom's voice is actually pretty distinct.

Withhold all delusions. Hwasa definitely went into koms believing that her voice is too recognisable (she and the rest of mamamoo have talked about it enough times) and decided to own it. Her whole outfit has every intention of revealing her skin tone, signature thighs, and even location of tattoo. If she wore a costume that was say, as covered, as solar's she could have at least deflected maybe her god thighs and the fact that she's specifically hiding a tattoo. On top of that, her hypeman habits. In effect, her appearance 100% generates pure hype for their comeback from the getgo. PS: Not that I'm fond of the song choice, but i feel like why it's good for a first round song is underappreciated. Both Hwasa and Yezi bear the role of singer and rapper. This gives them a more level playing field and boosts either one's appeal ability in the next round when they start throwing down vocals.

In other news, Um Oh Ah Yeah adlib throwback. ...in the sense that i don't know what this adlib is about. My favourite adlibs are the one when they do callbacks to previous performances. So this one in particular is apparently about "Anyeong, moomoo" which is something that both solar and moonbyul did on two separate occasions. But then on another separate occasion, moonbyul seems to have made a callback to it that caused solar and wheein to laugh in the back. Anyone happen to know what the deal is?

Agree with this. They're being honest and are entitled to their own opinion. I honestly expected them to be a bit harsher with their comments on mamamoo's visuals going in, but they actually were a bit more clinical, and concluded the key thing that is the most important about mamamoo (paraphrase): "Mamamoo appeals to you with their stage presence and makes you anticipate their every move. They don't try to lure you in with sex appeal or innocence, which we all know degrades with time. And for this very reason, they will last a long time." As fans, we have to accept that there will be people who will look at them in this light and focus on the compliments they did dish out, which is what is the most important to us. As an example, while I'm already aware that Mamamoo genuinely overwhelms everyone with their beagle-ness and positivity, it's cool to have this fact be reinforced by more "in the know" people. More than that, they even said they are a level past beagle. It's a comment that made me go, "that's our girls." Overall, I thought it was enlightening.

woahwoah. let's talk about this. Taller than 1cm is pretty well-loved by fans and a fantastic overall hype song. It's not designed to be a "quality" song so much as it's designed to make the fans laugh and gets a young audience going, no matter if you're a fan or not. Even saying that, i think it's a trap song executed very well and has mamamoo's energy and colour all over it. So for me personally, i don't think a 2.0 would be a problem at all. I don't think it would ever be a title track, but again, it would be fun and i'd totally be sold on it because it's mamamoo. and i trust their CEO to never stir them in the wrong direction when it comes to producing their songs. so that being said, can you explain what you don't like about taller than 1cm?
