II don't think I've seen her credited for arrangements. It's usually just lyrics or composition. Even for things like Ordinary Day or Let Me in her HV album, she wasn't involved with that area.

I always love her SketchBook performances the most. They tend to display her abilities (all around) more properly than your average music show.

Also it's very rare nowadays to see her port her Japanese work into Korean. I could possibly see it if it was a Japanese song she composed and wanted to really share with her Korean audiences. I missed that but it's minor so that's okay. It's just great to see her wear clothes that aren't completely out there. She's got her hit or misses. I just want a balanced melody like GoT. Only One was a good title track, but I think people miss some sort of intense imagery from BoA. I don't want something like Shout It Out, but something edgy or gritty. GoT as a title track had that energy and while there were some intense parts like the back ride, it wasn't nearly as exhausting as the Only One combo. Not saying I want a GoT sound but the energy that combines vocals and dance. Nice balance between slow and fast tracks too. I think a good example of vocal and dance combo last time was Not Over U. I actually liked the choreo Shaun Evaristo designed for it. I'd also liked if BoA pumped out more songs like Disturbance. I think it's one her most played compositions on my list.

Was it not always intended as indie? That I saw since 2012, it was confirmed by Duane himself in June on twitter. But on the production team he had already partnered up with Robert Cort Productions (apparently friends) who are also known for independent films. Unless, I'm misinterpreting tasks. If so, apologies, this is definitely not my area of the woods. Too bad about Lionsgate distribution though, I guess the project was lost after their Summit merger. I think what had me miffed was what seemed to be this aura of disorganization.

For the US, I blame SM (mainly because of shifting her between a guaranteed audience to an industry they had not fully explored). For Make Your Move, I blame a combination, mainly the director. I followed the fan sites and kept track of director interviews. It seemed like he didn't think out the distribution of the movie and heavily relied on an unofficial PR team. He didn't install an official team until a month before release and that didn't do so much. And I also think he didn't coordinate too well with SM, nor know his own markets. I bet if he actually stressed to SM the importance of the movie, they would of done more efforts for BoA. For Japan . . . unfortunately, BoA needs to actually be more publicly consistent to help Avex and their endeavors. This is where the aspect of human individuality versus company goals come at a cross.
