  1. Not convinced that Lisa or Jungkook got PS. People like to state the first one especially as fact, but their noses look exactly the same to me only difference is that they've grown into them (and I firmly believe that this happens to a lot of people*).

If given a stack of photos of any human, you can probably find several that make it look as though they've had work done. Doesn't mean that it's true. Literally a shift in facial expression can alter the shape of someone's nose in a photo.

It's not like I'm against cosmetic surgery full stop either (nor am I in denial because I stan these two or there groups), but don't be so quick to give up on your natural features. There are too many examples of people jumping the gun and screwing up their looks. And considering how important looks are for idols in the first place, it's hard to imagine that anyone accepted as a trainee wasn't at least decent looking. Nothing that makeup and proper styling wouldn't enhance/fix eventually.

*this is why I find it irresponsible for parents and labels to allow idols plastic surgery before they're at least of age, 20, in Korea. A teenager has little idea of what they'll look like as an adult and there are plenty of cases where idols have had a glow up, like Umji, but you have to be patient.

  2. the baby picture's cute...

He needs to gain a little weight..

I've seen several people say that but I think it's normal to go through these phases at his age. Doesn't look like he's dieting or anything and in a few years people will probably be reminiscing about his bobblehead days.

    Sweet

Idk why they're always so lost lmao

  3. Yuqi doesn't look her best, but only Shuhua really looks bad in those photos. I said before that she doesn't suit heavy makeup (thanks, Cube, for dialing it down this comeback she's been looking goood), but the other girls can pull it off. Minnie looks particularly fantastic in these photos (get some ads in Thailand!), but Soojin, Soyeon, and Miyeon look pretty great too.

  4. yes he does. I find lisps so adorable, i know some might not but maybe I'm weird hehehe

It's cute. I thought I was imagining it while listening to the song, but kept hearing it in the little clips and it didn't seem like something that could be attributed to accent.

  5. Its also interesting that she mentions that Senorita will be the last ethnic concept song they will release. So what's it going to be now beyond this point? A different era with G-IDLE? A whole new concept and aesthetic compared to what we've seen with these last three releases? LATATA, Hann, and Senorita have all been different but do follow a sort "exotic" nature and vibe. Are future releases going to be more "korean" or "kpoppy" per-say?

Musically, aside from Senorita, the songs have never been "ethnic" in style imo. It's why the jokes people made about her writing No didn't make sense to me. It was mostly the aesthetics, like stage sets, and some would argue dance moves that people used as evidence. So I don't see why their music would have to change, and it sort of continually has anyway while staying in the same general concept, but maybe their presentation will.

I like this series too and am glad to see Cube doing it for her.

  6. i love it so much, Senorita is such a bop!! (G)I-DLE has found their identity and sound since the very beginning. Everyone expected them to be the badass group like blackpink/2ne1 but they debuted with Latata which is a sensual dance song and came back with Hann which has mature and sultry vibe. Now they are coming with Senorita, another sexy dance bop! They are feminine, elegant, and classy. They are not intimidating, instead they invite you to dance with them through their songs. Their songs are gorgeously arranged and not too noisy. And i love this concept they are going for, i hope the mv is beautiful.

Agree and it's a concept that each member can settle into comfortably and shine as themselves whether that's through their voices, their dance styles, or their stage presentation. As a group they have the potential to develop a very strong and distinct identity with time. And with each comeback we see how much the meaning of their name suits them.

  7. I'm not a JYP stan and would call myself a stan in general, but I casually listen to some groups and cheer others on. Comments about Itzy have been a bit ott so I've been spreading some positivity where I can.

Congrats to the girls on today's stage. They should be proud. Attempting live so early was probably nerve-wracking and I wouldn't have blamed them if they'd felt the need to wait a little longer.

  8. Visual should not be an official group position. Hire people to attract fans and attention because of their looks if you want, but don't make it an official position just list them as vocalist, rapper, or dancer, whatever they're best at.

Inetz in particular get so freaking aggressive when they disagree with the company designated visual. It's a breeding ground for hate. Beauty is subjective, like who you like and hype them up, but what's the point of getting mad over such a dumb title and talking shit about the person who carries it.

I frequently end up feeling sorry for the person who gets stuck with the position.
