haha yes indeed i'm korean ^^ once exams are over i might spare up some time to translate articles for you guys, if you want. feel free to request!! jihoon's fanbase is solid, from what i can gather. pd101 articles clutter pann rn, and a good number are complaining about mnet's treatment of jihoon, esp regarding screentime and the #1 reveal.. it seems to be a general consensus that the pd dislikes jihoon, and the female writers adore him (when he was revealed to be a fashion terrorist, the writer asked jihoon in a very sweet way whether he dressed prettily for filming that day haha ^^ it was adorable! he really does seem to have a lot of aegyo, from his mannerisms to the way he talks) there are a number of articles begging fans to keep voting for jihoon, so that he doesnt end up like joo kyulkyung, so i would say that after watching season 1 people are being much more cautious now. i don't think theres anything to worry about as of now, esp since daniel, who seems to be the dark horse, is currently embroiled in the sns controversy... we'll see! but the general consensus is that jihoon will end up center of the group. he also topped the ranking for another pann survey, second kang daniel third kim jonghyun. i can confidently say that its hard for people to hate him, even if he's not their pick. jihoon is widely recognized haha ^^

hi guys, i've been lurking in this thread since ep 1 ^^ hahaha im pretty awkward so i prob won't talk much, but i made an acc for Jihoon lol ap season is upon us, and i havent had too much time to squeal... only one more test to go tho! also, did anyone else notice the atmosphere around jihoon during first place? i didn't really enjoy it as much as i could have, and pann seems to agree (im korean and i spend a lot of time reading posts there, esp about pd101) rather than congratulatory, it seemed more... i dunno, tense? frosty? someone even said before the reveal that they hoped samuel would be first, so that jihoon would know that he wasn't safe. then instead of giving congrats to jihoon, they focused on samuel instead, and even talked about how somi was second in the beginning but ended up first at the end. it kind of rubbed me the wrong way, and imagine how jihoon must have felt, them talking about how he might drop from first at any time.. mnet pd must really not favor him lol i feel really bad for him, imagine how stressed he must be ;; this got really long hahaha sorry ^^;; thanks for having me here!!
