I'm starting to get a bit confused about the mv/single release date x_X lol I thought I saw a date on the teaser pics for yesterday or the day before something? I looked on their youtube channel/twitter and saw nothing while wondering what happened. Now I think once I saw the other pics with the 24th on them, is that official single/mv release date? Or is it just the possible video teasers being released on the 24th?

-I don't understand the overhype I've seen for "Fingertip" by Gfriend at all. I thought "Navillera" and "Rough" were much better songs. On the whole, Gfriend is kind of an average group for me sometimes. I like their outfit concepts though and the girls seem nice. I wish I could get into their music more but eh. :/ I might try again later. -T.O.P is a much better rapper than GD. -People overhype too many average girl groups which leaves people disappointed when they release songs/mv. Then they claim sexism for some strange reason. I.e the amount of downvotes the "Wee Woo" mv that Pristin got resulted in people in the comments claiming sexism. -The obviously inappropriate/overly sexualized attire or dancing for the minors of both girl and boy groups need to stop being swept under the rug/celebrated by people. -Not all idol rappers are automatically mediocre because they have the word "idol" attached to their identity. -Calling a rapper from Korea who is actually a naturally talented rapper is not an insult to American rappers. It seems like when giving kudos to K-rappers who are really good, some people take that as a slight to talented American rappers. Or even say, "They're just copying us. How are they great?". Not all rappers in America are talented, or have their own style. Some just copy too, but not all of them do either. Some are overhyped to the heavens too. That goes for any nationality/ethnic group. It all depends on the individual. -People give certain modern rappers in America today waaay too much credit. -Not everyone who makes "gangsta" rap music in America is actually from the hood/harsh environments. Alot of them grew up in suburbs or had high paying jobs before going into that type of music genre. Sometimes it's just smoke and mirrors/wearing a costume. Sometimes its just that type of music speaks to them for some reason or another. It's not that serious when K-rappers do the same thing so I don't understand the upset regarding that. That style can come off as cringey on anyone(American or otherwise) when it's obvious they haven't lived a certain type of life. That's about it.

I feel like I've mostly only posted here with questions, sorry, but I meant to ask what's the rules behind the "I've topped posts"? I noticed it's when someone's reaches the next page and you post certain pics? I think I've topped a page once a few pages/days back and only realizing now you guys are doing a specialized thing. -
Thank you! I also meant to also say I love your signature it's hilarious lol. Oh, and the teaser looks so cool. I was wondering when one would drop.

Thank you guys for explaining how Got7 formed, because at first(when I first got into got7) I was honestly confused based on what I read on other sites a few months back lol x_X I was about go through to the beginning of the thread or either ask about that later. It's really interesting. -
Hi there~ I'm new to the thread(and onehallyu in a way I guess), but been a fan of kard for a few months I'm pretty excited about the next new single/MV they'll be releasing. I'm pretty addicted to "Don't Recall", although I do love "Oh Nana" as well. I wish I could go to their concert. I don't have the money for a ticket or to fly out of state

That is a really adorable hairstyle on Bambam I also liked the dark red hairstyle from awhile back. The blonde was a pretty cool look to me, but like someone else mentioned the maintaining of it is really harsh on the scalp. I get worried though when idols in general dye blonde in particular or dye their hair too frequently within a short amount of time. There's so many stories of hair loss or worse in the industry. It's pretty sad. :/ -

I see there are a few people still following this thread, so what did people think of the W Face Inside and Outside albums? The songs that stuck out to me the most at first were; Shh(I already liked it when it was released awhile back), Ultraviolet, Damn Real and Sukideshite. I have to give another full listen to both albums again though.

Quick question, anyone know where/whom this screenshot/gifset is originally from? Based on the format, it looks like it came from tumblr. However, I found the screenshot on pinterest(here;https://www.pinterest.com/pin/374713631475553578/)and then got led to allkpop when I clicked the 'visit' link. Whomever made it cropped off the original poster's name(i hate when they do that -_-) as well as any captions/descriptions. I did a google image search but ended up on the same pinterest and allkpop page. -

*emerges from lurkmode* I can't help but laugh a little at this lol but I do think curly hair is so cute on him. I understand though :T But one of my top faves has to be his hairstyle for Never Ever. He looks really cool with that style and his overall look. -

Night in the Woods~ Started it and almost immediately got stuck in a certain spot x_X lol I plan to start my file over because I don't think I can maneuver myself out. So far though, the game is so interestingly eerie. I really love how it's designed. -

Hello~ Sorry to interrupt any convos or anything, but I'm wondering if someone could help me find a JB fanaccount I saw a few months back? It was on another forum(posted as a screenshot from Twitter I think) but I can't seem to find it now. I regret not saving it ;__; From what I remember, the fan described herself as being really shy and noticed JB staring at her for a long time. She was waiting in line to do a fansign(I believe?) and every time she looked up JB was staring at her. She said she looked down or away each time. Then when she finally got to him in line, he asked something along the lines of, "Were you looking away/being shy because I was staring at you?". This might've been a fansign/meeting in Korea. Any help is appreciated! I just like saving random fanaccounts to read and this one popped up in my head today. I realized going through my computer I didn't save it x_X lol It's driving me crazy that I can't find it now from googling. -
I truly don't understand the mental gymnastics involved over someone claiming to hate kpop in general but are one of the biggest outgoing supporters of many groups. They claim all of of kpop is "anti-black" and that none of them will "get your coins" for whatever they release. Yet they are the first ones jumping up for joy when the groups they claim are racist win an award, reading fansigning accounts, release an album, are on vlive ectr. If you hate kpop and what a group does/says so much, why waste your time hyping them up? Why stan? O_o I don't get it. I know not all groups are perfect, but the long essays over kpop in general or a specific group being this or that(sometimes for reasons over misunderstandings and not racism at all) really baffle me. If I were them and thought what they thought, I wouldn't even be a fan. There are other groups and other types of music out there if that's what you believe is happening in the entire genre. When someone confronts them on it, it's always, "I'm just here for the drama. I'm over kpop." Like, what?? Apparently your not. Sometimes, I think the people who do this are afraid of "being called out" or being labeled as "racist/selfhating" or other mess so they jump at the chance to bash first before anyone can do it to them. I just don't know anymore.

i haven't gone through the rest of the thread as of yet, but I do recommend these two~ Ashmute. I've been a fan for about 2 months now. I find her music very beautiful and haunting~ Here's her latest released single(which I've been listening to nonstop); Also, Cherry Coke. I stumbled upon her music the other day. I'm not even sure how to describe her music exactly lol. Here's the first song I heard by her/also my favorite. If anyone can recommend me artists similar to these two, that would be cool~ lol. I just got into K-indie and I really love what I've found so far.

I hate how when someone gives a simple, straight forward and correct explanation for something in regards to a scandal or incident it means you're being an "oppappologist" or "delulu". Then there is a followup of those same people saying fans are sweeping the "incident" under the rug. Giving an explanation to the problem, when it wasn't an issue at all is the opposite of those things. There is is way too much of people wanting to be angry, or direct their anger to something that wasn't even an issue in the first place. I feel relief when I hear that a situation that was actually blown out of proportion and nothing harmful was done. Why continue the anger and vitriol? I don't understand why it's a crime in certain parts of my community to think rationally about things like that. We all have to share one brain for some reason. Speaking of, I still can't believe I witnessed actual fans trying to throw a fit over a hat with dreadlocks attached to it. Over a tourist item that was given as a gift to Kookie and Tae(bts). A souvenir item. This was days ago and I still can't believe I saw fans out for blood over it. It was some of the same people that just enjoyed themselves at the Wings concert and then quickly turned on them over literally nothing. First the death threats from that person(i wonder what happened with that?) then that. I was glad Caribbean/or black American fans such as myself spoke up in defense of Tae and Kookie. That what they had was not offensive in slightest and they(Caribbean fans) were happy to see them wear the hats. But that whole situation threw me for a loop. I wish people would know the difference between "appropriation" and inspiration/appreciation better in the kpop fandom. Too much "it's all appropriation!!!! You're racist/ or self hating if you disagree!" getting thrown around. It makes me not take certain sub-forums on certain sites seriously anymore. I don't blame other people for doing it either.

It's extremely disappointing/disturbing to see fans make up reasons(in their head instead of facing logic and facts)to call something 'problematic'(the most overused word ever btw) and turn on groups/people they love so quickly over non-issues. All for the sake of saying, "-insert group/person here- is CANCELED!!' or "DRAG HIM/HER". Over really dumb things. It's almost a stretch to say fans like this are just as bad as antis these days. Another thing, phrases like "They should already know better. It's not my/our job to teach them about my culture" are wrong and counterproductive. Not to mention a lazy/entitled way of continuing to make oneself a victim/oppressed. You aren't "keeping it real", you're keeping an unnecessary cycle going. For certain actual issues to be diminished, we have to educate. That's how social issues diminish in reality. Not only that, people who get over-offended for a group of people(I'm in a group that's on the receiving end of this frequently), need to stop. Please. You aren't being helpful. Especially if we say we're not offended by something...Telling us we should be offended over an non-issue doesn't make it self-hate either. At that point, it's obvious people who do this I realize are trying to make themselves look like saviors. Don't feed into delusions just because there aren't that many of us in a certain country. That's all.
